I'm from Tennessee, and our mountains are beautiful, but the Utah mountains are impressive! I highly recommend you see this place

Had so much fun here, it's such a hole in the wall joint with good food, drinks and friends, we found our new dive bar in Magna!!!

Old Miner on Old Main Street...gotta love Magna.

Oh this is a gorgeous place. If you know what Magna is like, then this is the epitome of it. So it's not for the faint of heart or those with germ worries. The cups are dirty, the people are a little rough, but they literally do karaoke every single night, and it's difficult to get your tab to be over 45 bucks. You can go with a bunch of friends and make a night out of it. Talk to some bikers, get in an awkward conversation with a toothless female...or if you're lucky, an entire group of them! They have a food menu but I've never once seen a patron eating anything here. They have all these old gambling machines too that offer some of the worst prizes I've ever seen. It's all really magical if you ask me. Come out and get some damn culture.

Initially I wasn't sure we were even in the right place. Once you walk in though, the inside is exactly what you expect a small town restaurant to feel like, in a good way. My family and I made it in time for breakfast, which I have understood is a fairly new offering of theirs. The breakfast menu is very simple. No pancakes, or French toast or anything like that. You've really just got your option of toast, eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, and omelets. I don't think this is a bad thing. More than not I value a short and sweet menu. What caught our eye was the option to get a scone with butter, honey and or jam. We ordered a scone, large biscuits and gravy, the country meal, and the 2 eggs hash browns and toast for our two toddlers. I'd say the food was, just good. There wasn't anything particularly special about it, but it was also not bad by any means. It's totally what I'd expect to be served at a family breakfast or something. I see this as a good thing. No bells and whistles, just good good. That said, the scone was the BOMB .com! Perfectly fried and with some really good jelly it was the perfect way to finish up breakfast. I look forward to coming back in the future (One important thing to note however was the smell upon walking in. I don't know if someone who smokes had just spent a lot of time in the restaurant that morning, or if the building itself has residual smoke smell from back when smoking was legal inside. I hope it's the former. If not, I will have to adjust my review down to 3 stars and I hope they are able to address it)

Majority of their TVs were on the timed out screen after the 11am games and they couldn't seem to get the game I requested on within the 2 hours I was there. I ordered the chili. The server handed it to me from across a 6 person table (she could have easily walked around) and spilled it on me, knocked my $300 Ray Bands off the high top table, and most of the chips fell off. It was horrible and tasted like water. I didn't eat it in fear of getting sick, pushed it to the edge of the table where it remained for well over an hour and the server didn't even notice or inquire. After the server spilled the chili on me she was MIA the majority of the time we were there. We also ordered the wings. I asked for ranch instead of blue cheese. For some reason I was charged for the ranch even though that was the only sauce I received. What makes me irate is that on the way out, I brought my experience up to the manager on duty who collected my information and told me that the GM would reach out. I waited a week and heard nothing. I wrote into their customer feedback line with my experience, hopeful I'd hear back from someone. It's now been close to a month and I haven't heard anything back from any person in the company. A simple phone call or email could have resolved this situation. A simple response to my message sent to the company would have fixed it. Horribly run company. I will never return to any location to support it with my hard earned money. Word of mouth goes a long way for a company and I will only have negative words about this place now when I once promoted it to everyone. The GM being non responsible really makes sense as to why the server was horrible and looked miserable. Morale trickles down from the top. Can't really expect too much from the staff of a horrible GM that doesn't care about their patrons.

The experience was a mixed bag…read more There was a snow storm and all guests at the hotel decided to dine at the restaurant. There were 2 employees behind the bar and handled the service very efficiently. Both of them were super stressed with the kitchen running out of food, existing orders delayed and not having enough staffing to run the show. The gentlemen handled the situation really well - a group of us at the bar had a good time chatting with them as drinks were served. Most of the food options on the menu were not available but everyone got to eat, even if the food got delivered slowly. There were no complaints from any guest because the '2 rock-stars' knew how to make the best of a tough situation! Breakfast time was a different story. The restaurant was not busy but the 2 waitresses were hardly at the counter. They spent most of the time inside the kitchen. Not sure if they did not have anyone making the food but the delay was really bad. A few guests got upset and walked away. My breakfast plate of eggs, sausage and potatoes took almost 45 mins to arrive, sans sausage and cutlery. Having a restaurant and bar in the hotel is a wonderful idea but the management needs to ensure that their staffing is right. This seems like a management issue. Nothing against the staff. Pricing : Not inexpensive. Especially if service is so bad, you don't want to pay ridiculous prices.

The moment I stepped outside of the venue and was standing at the second level--I can see the beautiful mountains and salt flats. I'm a big fan of nature and sunsets, so this experience was surreal and eerie. The sounds of the music and being able to see the crowd was amazing. I spent more time outdoors than I did indoors. No issues with ticketing, restrooms and ordering drinks. They were moving pretty fast. I can't comment on parking since we took a party bus to the venue, but the drive-in and drop off wasn't complicated. The building itself has this "moorish" influence exterior, but not all original from what I understood. Still a bit vintage, unique and cool looking. The inside is an open space. I don't recall any seating. Mainly a standup setting with two levels. I look forward to coming back to this venue again this year to experience it different seasons/time.
