Destiny gave a quote for the repair, and that amount was deducted from the sale price of the house, as part of our negotiation. I made seven calls, to Destiny, once a week, beginning in January, to ask them to begin the renovation. NOT ONCE did anyone call me back during that entire time, except last week when a lady from the office said they would NOT renovate my pool at all, they have no intent. ie. they would not honor their bid. She said the bid had been made a 'year ago'...when it was actually 6 months. There are not many who do pool renovations in Lubbock, but when I did find one, the cost is double the quoted bid from Destiny. So the conclusion one might make is that Destiny never intended to renovate the pool, estimate was "low" at $17,500. This is entirely factual. One can make their own conclusion from the facts, but be warned, they do not honor their word or bid.

He quoted window replacement (for a significant amount less than an out of town company quoted a couple years ago), skirting replacement, and replacing a couple of siding panels. There was a miscommunication about the scheduled start date and they were short some skirting materials that extended the finish date. The crew (Henry and Greg) were polite, considerate, and skilled. They never left the house open - as quick as they pulled a window out they had a new one in - and even though they couldn't finish the skirting they used other material to keep the underside closed until they did finish. And the trim they installed around the inside of the windows looks great! Dave came by when the work was done to inspect the job and collect the check, waiting until the job was all the way finished to ask for payment. I will recommend D & B Ultra Exteriors to anyone that needs windows, siding, or skirting.

Very apologetic is the best I can say for these folks. They promised our custom swinging gates…read morewould be installed within two weeks. A month later, they delivered two gates that looked like they had been manufactured by a 12-year-old. All measurements were wrong, and worse, irregular, with vertical bars spaced unevenly and at slants so that some where 4" apart at the top and 8" apart at the bottom. Also, the materials were wrong, and the gate arch, which was supposed to be a single low bell curve meeting at the gate opening, was instead two bell curves, one per gate. The fabrication was horrible overall, sloppy would be too generous a description. When I refused the gates and pointed out all that was wrong, they apologized, saying they had used a recommended fabricator (the blame game began here). That was a Monday. They then promised they would have the gates completely rebuilt by a different fabricator, this time to spec, and have them installed by Friday, or possibly Saturday at latest. The following Tuesday (eight days later), I called to ask where my gates were. They were almost finished, I was told, and they would be delivered the next day, Wednesday, and installed then. At 11:11 a.m. Wednesday, they texted me to say they were outside. I went out to look a the gates. They appeared to be the exact same gates with the metal pickets disconnected and re-welded in a nearer to spec fashion, but the top arches were still wrong. It had now been over a month, and they still were simply apologizing (again) for t he poor quality re-fabrication. I told them to place a refund check for my $5410.00 (1/2 the total) down payment in my hand and take their gates and leave. They did. The refund (assuming their check doesn't bounce) is the only thing I can say they did promptly. If there were a NO STARS option, I would pick it. Use these newcomers to the industry at your own risk. They are awful.

His media made it seem like he had a crew, which if he did never made it to our house. He was very erratic, the only thing he kept a schedule on was when he wanted to receive his payments. Always an excuse why he wasn't a work. Showed up at 10/10:30 take a lunch and be gone by 4 sometimes later. When the stone arrived for our project he did not come the next day so I texted asking he would be starting and he got all upset. When he finally got going He ran out of material asked for more money, bad thing is not all the material he supposedly would purchase would show up at "our " job site. We checked his social media and found he was working on other jobs when he should of been working on ours! The time we gave him money for material he said he would not be showing up till after lunch cause he need to rotate or align his tires because the material he was bringing was so heavy. The last straw was he asked my wife for gas money and when he didn't get it he packed all his tools and left. My wife commented on pictures of our house on social media asking if was coming back and his text to her was " don't go to social media with that bull****. I wouldn't recommend him to anyone!!
