Fruit Flies that came out of juice machine

This is really the Econo Lodge. It's says West Star on the building but a crumpled piece of paper on the door lets you know it's really the Econo Lodge. The exterior was not inviting and looked abandoned. I came in a little after midnight and the driveway and parking lot was not plowed at all from snow, the storm had ended hours earlier, luckily I had 4 wheel drive. The walkways and in front of the lobby were also not shoveled. When I rang the bell to let them know I was in the lobby (which the sign at the desk said to do) it took a few minutes for a rumpled, grumpy man to come out to the desk. He said "what do you want?" and when I said I had a reservation he turned and looked at the clock and looked back at me obviously annoyed. The room was clean -ish. There were strange little black fuzzies on the sheets I chose not to think about. However, in the morning at the breakfast when I got apple juice a swarm of fruit flies came out (picture attached), which is pretty impressive considering it was only 15 degrees out. I gave Econo Lodge 2 stars because the price was reasonable for a place I just crashed at for a few hours. Plus the housekeeping staff knows how to tightly make a bed. If you're looking for a Stanley Hotel Lite experience this is the place for you. The Shining aesthetic really grips you on that drive up the hill. If you like to be treated like a valued customer and not get extra protein with your juice, I'd suggest spending the extra few bucks at the place across the street.

Don't let these people get away with this terrible service anymore! The more complaints and the more people stand up to this disgusting business the better the chances are that the owner will wise up and change the way he runs this "place." The elevator is gross and ANYONE can just walk in the hotel! Instead of checkout they have a basket that says, "please please room keys here when checking out if no one is around." SERIOUSLY?! The pictures below speak for themselves. DI NOT STAY HERE!! Coffee pot: dont use! Bathtub: at your own risk! My camera couldn't pick up a lot of the filth! Dresser: filled with hair, ash, crumbs, and dust. Walls: scuffed and so so dirty it unbelievable! Carpet: one word, 1989. As in the last time they were cleaned. Curtains: filled with holes. Lamps: broken! Ceiling: blood stains from needle usage The beds: Blood, puss, a twizzler, underneath is disgusting! And those lovely white stains all over the place! Again stop letting these people get away with this this. Don't stay here and give them your business! Force them to change or sell it to someone who knows what the hell theyre doing! If the owners are reading this right now I want you guys to know I'll never stay here again and I'll do everything in my power to make sure no one I know ever does!

Ughhh

Wish I could give it 1/2 star Stayed here for one night and was not impressed. I didn't even want to shower or take off my shoes to get into bed. I probably checked for bed bugs three different times it was that gross. (No bed bugs but not sure how!) Our room was disgusting. Not vacuumed, a sheet on our bed and that was about it. Shower was gross, only thing i was excited to do before i went to bed. Tv was shitty, couldn't even see the tv channels because of static. Towels were stained, sheets were stained. If we didn't get to the hotel at 11 pm there's no way in helllll I would've stayed there. It's a no from me. Pay the extra 50$ and go to cactus Pete's across the street, wish i did!

Don't trust the booking sites. They all show flat screen TVs and this place looked nothing like the photos.

Don't stay here unless your used to living in a craphole. This establishment should be ashamed of advertising such nice rooms on booking sites. I was in a non smoking room that had cigarette burns in the furniture. Broken lampshade. Stains on the walls and bed and floor. If the room is not a pet friendly and says 100% smoke free I expect to not find any stains or burns. Not the case. Also, the beds are not what are advertised. Same with the tv. Not that that's such a big deal but traveling with a young child they didn't have a single channel that was suitable for her and again, not the flat screen that was shown in the rooms on booking site. Maybe the smoking rooms are better or pet friendly ones but who knows. The website showed up to date rooms and these were like walking into a 1950s room. The bed and floor looked like it had not ever been cleaned. I don't know how they even got the grade on the website. I saw the pictures and thought it was yelp because it normally is but it was booking.com. I was very disappointed in this stay. Traveled 4 days with a two year old and this was the hardest night.

This may be the most unsanitary hotel I have ever stayed in. Never again urine stains on the cover sheets. Walls are filthy. Service at counter said and I quote "I don't know why people want so much". I really don't require much, but no urine on the bed would be great. I will be writing several letters including to the health department.

The shower and toilet drained slow. The room was very current on all the electrical and internet resources. The big screen TV was wonderful as I have some vision problems, I could see it well. We arrived very late and left early. We were able to get great coffee to wake us for our long journey to Bilings, Montana. I wanted to write this review because we make this trip once or twice a year. Most of the motels we stay in on our journey are outdated and just nasty compared to FOUR JACKS HOTEL, Jackpot, Nevada. I recommend this hotel to people who want a good deal in a very decent hotel for the price.

It is a basic hotel with a mini casino and little cafe restaurant called Cafe Blanca. People can smoke in the casino but not in the rooms but it's all in the same building sharing the main hallway so you definitely smell the smoke. Says no smoking but in reality the whole place is smoking. The room has extremely thin walls so you literally csn hear other peoples conversations. There is a tv, mini fridge and basic bathroom. Make sure you bring your own everything because they dont give sample size anything. The room was $84 for a one bed which was a very old spring bed. You can not change the temperature in the room since it's in a lockbox. It was 85 in the room all night, so we couldnt sleep. We did try turning the wall ac on and it was extremely loud and didn't cool the room off, maybe a degree or two. It is much cheaper than the other casino but extremely basic and old. Also the windows are glued/painted shut.

My initial booking through Expedia was for a queen wheel chair accessible room. Akey noticed this and asked me if it was what I wanted because there would be no bath. He upgraded my room to a king with bath. I am so glad because after traveling all day I wanted to refresh and unwind. The room was very clean. The toilet had a paper fastener to show it had been attended. The floor was clean. The bed was comfortable. The desert gets chilly at night and you can open the window to the rooms for some cool fresh air and not even use the a/c. I am happy here and I would stay here again. The building seems to have good bones. The siding on the exterior looks fairly new and the walls inside are in good shape. UPDATE: it's 11:48pm and I woke up with a start. A car alarm was sounding repeatedly and it was mine. I tried to call the front desk and it went to voicemail. I had to go outside in my pajamas. Simone had been meddling with vehicles because a Ford pickup had flashers going. I rang the front desk bell and a half asleep young woman came out of the office. I was trying ti ask her about car theft and she barely understood what I was saying. She went outside and came in chuckling telling me that didn't happen. Now I won't get back to sleep for my long drive and would most certainly not stay here.

I went to hotels.com looking for a place just like I had the last 3 nights, and this hotel showed up as a option in IDAHO. Once I looked up the address so I could put it in my GPS, it showed NEVADA! I called the hotel right away and was told this was non refundable and basically not their problem. The man said I would have to call the booking company to get this resolved. Hotels.com and this hotel frankly have screwed me out of $65 dollars. I realize that's not a lot of money but I'm not here to hand out money for someone else's mistake. When I go back to Arkansas, I'll have to be extra cautious that the hotel I pick is where I need it to be. That's ridiculous

No, but the towels felt great and smelled awesome! We are lucky to be traveling with our own pillows and just used what we brought. I asked to be moved to another room & was told there was no other open rooms. Then literally an hour later someone checked into the room next door! It was extremely loud from cars/trucks on hwy all night! I was so grossed out & barely slept but there was nowhere to go at the point we checked in. I tried to find a place but nothing nearby came up. I will NEVER stay there again & warn others to reconsider..... Its one thing to be outdated & simple but it should be clean.
