No, but the towels felt great and smelled awesome! We are lucky to be traveling with our own pillows and just used what we brought. Glad there was availability here because it's not worth it for us to drive through the night like we could when we were younger. I do not regret stopping here. It's a welcomed feeling being able to get fully horizontal and shower on a road trip from Los Angeles to Boise. This places feels honest in that you get what you pay for.

It is a basic hotel with a mini casino and little cafe restaurant called Cafe Blanca. People can smoke in the casino but not in the rooms but it's all in the same building sharing the main hallway so you definitely smell the smoke. Says no smoking but in reality the whole place is smoking. The room has extremely thin walls so you literally csn hear other peoples conversations. There is a tv, mini fridge and basic bathroom. Make sure you bring your own everything because they dont give sample size anything. The room was $84 for a one bed which was a very old spring bed. You can not change the temperature in the room since it's in a lockbox. It was 85 in the room all night, so we couldnt sleep. We did try turning the wall ac on and it was extremely loud and didn't cool the room off, maybe a degree or two. It is much cheaper than the other casino but extremely basic and old. Also the windows are glued/painted shut.

I found out they were resurfacing/resealing it and that was why it was blocked off. But do not fret, this place is super safe and clean despite being a little in feom the main road by 93. The lady who checked me in was friendly and very sweet. Once I entered our room, I was SO HAPPY to see it was spotlessly clean! The towels they use were fluffy and did not smell moldy or musty. They were fresh and thick! Everything was clean, even the AC unit, which unlike other places did not smell old or musty at all. I am telling you, this place was/is SUPER clean and all the reviews raving about this place weren't lying, they were definitely justified and this place fully deserved it! The shower pressure can be improved cuz it was very weak but since it was clean, this is very minor. The room are keyed entry locks which is very modern. Ours was a little finicky but once we figured it out, it was no big deal. The bed was VERY comfortable. We slept so well and was so happy we found a lodging gem in Wells, NV! This hotel can be booked directly on their own web site, so try that instead of going through a 3rd party platform. (I will do that the next time if I go through here again). The AGM/GM wouldn't honor my employee rate when I asked to have it undone or make a new res which is crazy considering he can easily do a price override. Throughout the stay I'm hearing about how the "big boss" was complaining that we booked a cheaper rate upon rebooking using our government rate, honestly new management needs to take a hike. There's a middle aged Caucasian woman that works here and good lord is she unpleasant. We had two interactions with her and she couldn't look more disinterested in talking to us or assisting us. She was extremely rude and looked like she hated us asking for anything and just wanted to be left alone. The next big this was our room, 207 doesn't lock unless to pull the living heck out of the door. Room cleaner went in and when we got back to fresh towels and undone beds, the door wasn't even locked. You could walk right into the room no problem. Pretty wild that anyone could have walked in at any time. The only good thing about this property was Christian, the front desk agent. He was super nice and accommodating, solid team member that represent the Hilton values very well, everyone else couldn't be further from that. Would love to see him be a site leader and have the rest of the front desk staff emulate him more. The room was fine, location is good, it just comes down to poor customer service from most of the staff.

My kids got to run around and play outside with a couple of other kids who were staying there. We got to see the owls that were living in the square parts on the side of the big sign. We ate decent American style Chinese food. (You didn't expect to find really authentic Chinese food in the middle of NV, did you?)
