We asked for an estimate to remodel our only bathroom. When they came to give us an estimate, about half way through the very long estimate visit, was when we found out that they do not do bathroom remodels at all. They replace tubs with showers. Period. We were told it would take one day, just like they advertise. The men who came out to do our shower complained MANY times that our job should have been a two day job. The wood was supposed to be torn down to the studs from floor to ceiling but because of our walls not being Sheetrock like they were told they only did ours halfway up because it was taking so long. They were burning up saw blades on our walls. They got there first thing in the morning and left at 9:20pm and left the job with things that would have to be done and corrected later. The project manager told us over the phone at 9:20 that night that we HAD to sign the completion order and pay them but promised the issues would be corrected ASAP. NEVER AGAIN will I be strong armed into signing something was done when it was not by some bully. We finally had an appointment for them to complete our job and the guy came out and told us he didn't have the right materials to do the work. He said no one told him ALL our trim had to be pulled down and replaced. Said the trim he brought to replace what they put up there was NOT going to match our new shower plus he didn't have enough of it to do the job. (We were told the walls would go all the way to the ceiling but when they got the bathroom tore apart the man informed us they would not and a trim piece would be required to which we said okay since they had already torn our walls out by then. Hence the need for a trim piece.) The trim they glued up weren't trim pieces but cut ends from something that left open exposed ends. They also took off too much of our wood trim leaving a hole in our bathroom wall. They put trim on the outside bottom of the shower floor that didn't match the size that it abutted to and sealed it with clear caulk leaving dirt under the clear caulk. When I asked about this he said he guessed the floor was dirty. I would have been happy to clean the floor rather than have a foot long dirty spot under the clear caulking. It's been an entire comedy (but not funny) of one person blaming another. It took many calls and way too much time for them to come fix what could be fixed. The only good thing is they offered us shower doors as an apology for the trouble we've been through. (Of course the man who promised that is no longer employed with the company so we had to argue that little detail!) He brought with him clear doors. We were not told anything about the doors beforehand so we weren't aware they were completely clear glass doors. So we asked they be rain doors which we were told are not see-through. We did finally get the doors put in. Several months later, after cleaning exactly as I was told to clean, they had to come out and REPLACE all our caulking because it all molded and would NOT come off. We hope they will truly stand behind their work since now we wonder what else was hurriedly done because they had to rush the job and force us to sign it was completed. From what I've read on their website the mold is fairly common. My biggest complaint out of all this is how my shower is patched together. Looks nothing like their pictures. Mine has pieces of trim to make it go up to the ceiling. They told us when the work was being done that they couldn't make walls that high but later on we were told that was not true and if we wanted them to tear it all out and start over they could make it go to the ceiling. No way I would ever start over after all we went through. I'll always wonder if our job was unusual or if this is how all customers are treated. read more

RUN, don't walk! Stay away from Westshore Home!!! We purchased a door from them with the installation date of February 16, 2026! It is now May 13, 2026 (3 months later) and the door installation is STILL NOT COMPLETE! The door was not installed correctly on February 16th. Pictures were taken by the initial installer and were supposed to be shared with higher ups in the company. We found out later that the pictures and information about the door were missing from our account file. We were told by the installer that it was most likely a problem with manufacturing of the door. My husband has had to repeatedly call to inquire about the completion and correction of the install! Workers were sent out to our house MULTIPLE times without knowledge of what task they were supposed to be completing! No one in the company seems to communicate with each other or with the other departments within the company. We have been given the run around for 3 months. On May 1, 2026, we finally had another set of workers come to "reset" the door. We thought we were FINALLY going to have the install complete. This installer informed us that the he didn't have the correct color caulk for our door and it would have to be ordered! Thirteen days later, we hadn't heard from the company or service department of when it would be installed. My husband called and was told the correct caulk was NEVER ordered! So again we are waiting for the caulk to be ordered and installed. I called and asked for an estimate of when the caulk would be delivered and a date for it to be completed. My call was dropped twice and I was never connected to the service worker in which I had asked to be connected! I feel we need to be compensated for our time and distress over this botched door installation! I would NOT RECOMMEND WEST SHORE HOME to anyone! read more

Purchased a small shower from them 4 years ago. Told they do not mildew or mold. Told that enclosures other than curtains would not be practical. It was a 34 1/2 by 34 1/2. Shower does get mildew and mold. We wash it constantly. They poked two holes in wall above it and put putty in holes and left it. Took about 4 hours. Charged us 24,000 dollars. So you tell me do you like to blow money? If yes, give them a call and get your shower curtain shower. This was in Spartanburg South Carolina. read more

Purchased walk in shower and few years ago. The salesman told us we had a lifetime warranty. The caulk around the window is peeling away. They told me I would have to pay $125 per hour labor to get them to fix it. After the first year parts are free but labor is not. Deceiving.... read more

West Shore is VERY misleading. What the sales person sales you and what you get are very different! The warranty is great, until you need it, then they blow you off. We've had problems with the shower coming loose from the wall, the corner shelf's separating from the wall, popping noises coming from the shower after use. I scheduled our home in Kissimmee to have 4 windows replaced back on 2/2024, but the first scheduled date was changed to March and then again it became July. Seems they have a number of new workers as on 8/6/2024, four guys showed up to do the 4 windows, but two admitted it was their first day or just a few days with West Shore. One said they had 'just done their first window removal' as he pried it out, which surprised me! They finished but not without the one front window failing to lock on one side, and the window sill had been broken during the window removal stage in the back bedroom. Another West Shore rep cams a few weeks later to see what needed to be done, and he arrived with the wrong size window sill they had broken a few weeks earlier. The last date became August 6th when 2 other guys arrived and they were here for over 7 hours removing the front window, trying to make it fit properly, and finally removing it entirely and reinstalling it. The back bedroom window with the broken sill was not removed but required some trim (wood moulding) to look proper, but was not the color they had promised. It does not match the other windows in the other 2 bedrooms! In all, the 4 windows had taken almost 2.5 days to install with much fanfare and what appeared uncertainty as to how they would proceed at times. The clean-up I assisted to avoid debris and pieces of window trim and what else in our yard, but my wife and I were unhappy as we had guys running into the main restroom throughout the day as we had the first, and this was for JUST the REMAINING 2 WINDOWS! I am now seeking some sort or restitution from West Shore as over 2 days for 4 windows for them was ridiculous and a huge waste of time as we had to remain home for the 3 days they were here! These were not inexpensive windows and the cost vs time we had to be there during installs was not justified by what they were actually doing or had scheduled. Mark C. read more

Something deeply troubling with the marketing by this company - neither reviews nor the company website gives any idea of what the cost might be. They want to strongarm customers in-person. Not for me. Secondly, why are so many of the reviews by writers who have only 1 review? Places with more strenuous reviewing have this company at 2.4 stars or less. And they are duplicitous about their location - making it seem they're "local" to every city in the southeast, when in fact they apparently are in Pennsylvania. Nope. read more

Just had two ancient bath tub inserts removed and new walk-in showers installed by West Shore Home and they did an amazing job. The sales person was great. He came to the house, looked at what we wanted to replace and gave us a few options, after listening to what we wanted. We had everything picked out and written up within an hour and had our installation date scheduled. Financing was easy. We had two different teams for the two installs. On Monday we had Dexter LeVerett and Shannon Walker. They pulled the downstairs bathtub, a circa 1980s formed plastic nightmare and installed the new floor to ceiling walk-in shower that's so much roomier and brighter. They did a great clean up job and were done around 5:30 p.m. On Tuesday Joshua Cannady and Josh Watts removed the awful plastic shower insert that I referred to as the "phone booth". They replaced it with a nice bright roomy walk in shower that I'm in love with and were done by 5 p.m. These showers are not inexpensive, but they come with a lifetime guarantee, are done in a day and look fantastic. Very happy with the entire experience and I'd recommend West Shore Homes for your new shower. read more
