Instead, quite a few coffee shops were open, including a lot of Costa's. The center of the mall consists of elevators and a set of escalators. I found a dress I loved and said we would be back, as my other bridesmaid wasn't with me. We went back several weeks later, date of wedding was then set, they remembered me and the dress I liked. My bridesmaids pick out the dresses they like and they found sizes fir them to try, although not the colour, just to get the feel for fit. Helped me into my dress again, for the second bridesmaid to give her verdict. Was a goer, tried on some shoes to get the height right and ordered in a shorter length for me.we made a purchase that day, deposit was paid, am going back soon to pick these up and can thank them enough for their help.

All the dresses are laid out by colour, so if you know what colour you want this is ideal. Most of the girls in Southampton attending a ball or event will get dresses from here. The excellent thing about this shop though is that they will keep a list of all the girls buying dresses and the event they are attending so no two people at one event will have the same dress! Genius! Would also be good for bridesmaid dresses and it looks like they are opening a bridal shop next door!.

My visit here might have been my first-ever inside a Marks and Spencer store. I looked mostly at the women's clothing, and I felt pretty impressed by its selection, quality, and prices. Shameful. How on Earth could M&S senior management allow this short term foolishness, likely just to save a few quid. We noted they were selling fish & chips with peas and a lemon wedge at £9. We decided to try but it soon became clear that was our mistake. They weren't that tasty. The food seemed air fryer cooked, dry, near tasteless and not a good eat really, so real fish & chip shops have no fear of this competition. This is food passable for old folks homes. We didn't have to wait long for the food but here again the server had no tartare sauce to offer (apparently a supply issue) but it was readily available in store just a mere few feet away. £18 for rubbish food. The tomato ketchup, vinegar pouches and salt were seemingly rationed. I asked for some more and some more was handed over, piecemeal. I gave up. Is it a lack of training? Who knows. Then I tried to open the sauce pouches and ended up asking a staff bloke to do it. He struggled but succeeded. I am really annoyed as this is not acceptable.

They had nail bars, a Turkish cafe, a Boswell's cafe, an eat all ya like Chinese/Japanese/Thai place charging £20 fixed price for food. It's also where the Starbucks is located that charged me 5p for tap water - the 5p was allegedly for the plastic cup when they were coming down with ceramic cups. They've driven my gold membership business from Starbucks since. I'd guess mine is at least £1,000 spend annually. There's plenty of chargeable parking here and we found one common theme driving around England - is not a parking friendly country and especially not a disabled parking friendly country. Local authorities starved of funds from central government crooks now fleece their communities at every turn and charging for parking on roads is just another income source. This is despite the fact that drivers already repeatedly pay for roads over and over through road tax, by paying for extortionate road fuel taxes and in general taxes are robbed here too. In fact Portsmouth centre had a surprising number of independent nail bars; most of which were staffed by Asian folk.

It has a very comprehensive collection of goods ranging from food to electrical to services like a cafe and a petrl station. I liked the layout though it felt a little cramped with the number of Saturday shoppers today. I especially like the seafood at Morrisons and this shop was no exception. There was a giant pack of salmon fillets for less than £10. However, what made it into my shopping basket was a whole kg of large clams, which I've never seen in a supermarket before. The chap at the counter bagged it with a little airhole because the clams are still alive and need to breathe. I'm thinking mouriniere style - sweated onion, white wine and then steam the clams with a touch of cream and parsley at the end. Lots of bread for the juices!

People often comment that the clothes are not good quality but almost everything i have bought has washed up well and i have worn time and time again. However if you do get the odd item that doesnt wash or wear well it is not a major loss because of the cheapness. I often buy my summer holiday wardrobe at Primark with t-shirts costing between £1.50 and £3 and shorts for about £5. Flip flops and bikinis are also amazing value. I am not overly keen on the ladies underwear but my partner wears the boxer shorts and the black socks for work. The only downside to this shop is the queue's and the fact that it sometimes resembles a jumble sale! The queue's are massive and sometimes snake around the clothes! I would recommed going 1st thing in the morning when it opens and midweek, never a weekend! The staff are always nice and will always go out to the stock room to look for stuff for you.
