Primark is all of the things said in the above review! However, whenever I have vistied this particular store it is like a jumble sale! ther are clothes all over the place and I can never stay in there long enough to find what I want, I get really annoyed! I love love love primark! This a fairly big store and has everything you need! The clothes are cheap as is the underwear and accessories. People often comment that the clothes are not good quality but almost everything i have bought has washed up well and i have worn time and time again. However if you do get the odd item that doesnt wash or wear well it is not a major loss because of the cheapness. I often buy my summer holiday wardrobe at Primark with t-shirts costing between £1.50 and £3 and shorts for about £5. Flip flops and bikinis are also amazing value. I am not overly keen on the ladies underwear but my partner wears the boxer shorts and the black socks for work. The only downside to this shop is the queue's and the fact that it sometimes resembles a jumble sale! The queue's are massive and sometimes snake around the clothes! I would recommed going 1st thing in the morning when it opens and midweek, never a weekend! The staff are always nice and will always go out to the stock room to look for stuff for you. read more

They sell nice clothes quite cheaply. They have clothes for people of all ages and in lots of different styles. You can find casual clothing here, underwear and clothes for a night out. The shop can get very busy and so you can be queuing for a long time. When ever I go in there are clothes all over the floor. read more

Primark in Southampton is a very large clothing shop, ranging from household decorations to childrenware. The clothes are cheap and sometimes quite reasonable. However the presentation inside the shop is disgusting, clothes all over the place from the floor to it flung over other rails. There is hardly any staff on the shop floor and the wait time on the queues are always long. read more

I really like primark clothes but this shop does make me think twice about going in. The clothes range is very good and the quality is excellent. The store is always cramped and is not very well laid out at all. There is only one real pathway through the store and there is not much room between the clothes racks. The clothes are always on the floor and it looks messy and untidy. The tills go down quickly although the que does put you off. Not worth it for the cheap clothes. I find the staff pleasant but they do not look happy in their job. read more

fantastic clothes at rock bottom prices. it's always the first place i visit when i'm on a shopping trip. and when there's a sale on you can fill a basket for about £40. the best thing is the clothes are bang up to date. for this reason, if you spot something, buy it there and then because you might not see it again! read more

I hate to say it but I really do like this shop and can often spend hours in it. You have to love to search for a bargain as in amongst it all you can find some great bargains but beware not everything is great quality, you must be prepared to try it on or bring it back, and the clothes really do look better on than on the hanger. The best time is early morning and you will avoid the queues, but even if it is busy the store often put so many people on the tills that the queues are gone quickly. Try and remain calm, be prepared for a busy store and dont shop in a hurry and you will find some amazing bargains. read more

Like most Primarks, this one is just as cheap. Whether you are stocking up for a student Tight and Bright night or just some new clothes, it is a very cheap place to go. However, the quality of the fabrics used and the manufacturing process is not what it could be so that leaves a little to be desired read more

I love this shop. I'm under no impression that I'm buying brilliant quality garments but for the price, it really doesn't matter (besides, I have actually seen far worse quality in more expensive stores). I think Primark is best for things like underwear, T-shirts, nightwear, bed sheets, children's clothes and cheap shoes. I also think their costume jewellery and bags are brilliant value. The store is clean but often messy (this is because customers tend to throw the clothes around like rags). The queue for the changing room is often long and the changing room itself isn't exactly clean, tidy or pleasant (again, this is usually down to the customers having little respect for the place). The staff are young and often look like they'd rather be somewhere else but who can blame them? For a cheap no-frills shop, you can't beat it. read more

Great place to come shopping to update your wardrobe staples with the latest fashionable one-off items. It is great for accessories, jewellery and home furnishings: I picked up a set of bangles for a pound, a few hair bands for 1.5 pounds and a beautiful bed linen set with embroidments for 17 pounds. The clothes are a bit hit and miss and you ahve to trya nd give it a chance to see how it fits. The coats are cut wrong for example but some of the shirts are great cuts and some of their suits are original enough. I would recommend to go early Saturday morning or Sunday at 11am (opening time) because it gets very crowded extremely quickly. read more

Primark,is a great shop,yes i agree it does look like a storm has come in the front door and gone out the back,but if you get there first thing in the morning its fine lol.Great if you are shopping on a budget,and cheap enough to beable to add your own mark to a dress top ,or whatever.You do need to check seams,unless you are ok with a needle.Great designs,colours,made for all shapes and sizes.We should hate this type of shop but as much as trying i still pass throught the store in Southampton from the drop off point of the bus,and by the time i am getting to see the front main door way i am already loaded with various items that i have already added buttons and lace to in my mind. read more
