He was very nice as we chatted with him for a bit. Overall the shop was extremely clean, well lit and organized. They had a nice selection for the size of the store. An aisle of wine, mixers, snacks and a cooler for beer. There was also a small area of slot machines on the back. There was one person gambling so I just glanced but think there were 6-8 machines. Their liquor selection was behind the counter and we focused in on the whiskey. They had a variety of regular and some harder to find selections. Prices were reasonable but my partner noted a few of the rarer items might be a little higher than you'd expect. He did grab one though. As we were walking out the famous "prison chips" caught my eye so we grabbed a bag of "the whole shabang" as we've never seen them in stores and only on the internet. I think this spot is a great location and has strong potential to stick around. Would recommend you check it out.

We were impressed with the plate sizes, and we had plenty of leftovers to enjoy later. We will definitely go back and try some other things off of the menu the next time we're down in Macomb.

It was a little hot to me for the patio but others did not agree (they were no doubt Northerners who need the sun but this Southerner has had enough this year) and it was nearly full.
