a flight of beers on a bar
    Rylee T.

This brewery is so cute! Awesome place to relax and hang out with friends/family. I got a flight of 4 beers when I visited this weekend. There is a large area for outdoor seating on a nice day. A food truck comes every Saturday evening for a snack to enjoy with your drinks. And lastly, there are a variety of games to play (situated on a shelf inside) with your friends/family. Great customer service, great atmosphere!

Nice newer clean place with a decent selection of homemade brews. Will come back again the next time in Macomb.

Located in…read morethe heart of downtown Hannibal, the location is perfect for shopping Main St and enjoying all the various activities that the area provides. There is on street parking and an adjacent lot. They offer a wide variety of their own brews plus guest options like ciders and sangria (I love that they offer my favorite Ace Pineapple on tap). They have some seasonal brews and their standard staples. Both tap brews and cans are available. Various size glasses to choose from, as well as flights. The staff is just the best. Everyone is friendly and accommodating. Even though this is a new location, there doesn't appear to be a lot of staffing hiccups that you tend to find upon opening. They have only recently opened and we have been many times, we look forward to coming back!

Talked to a bartender today and he said they are working on a second floor bar right now (there are also 2 Airbnbs upstairs). This was my second visit and it appears there is a rotating menu with a large variety of beer, also offer limited cider and wine for those that don't like the hops. There is an onsight BBQ joint as well. Excited for warmer weather to enjoy their patio. Overall a great asset to Hannibal!

Buzz Bomb will get you buzzed real good…read more While Emily and I were sitting at Custom Cup Coffee, we were trying to figure out what was in the area that we could walk around to and get some food and a drink. While I made a general list of stuff to do in Springfield, we wanted to see what this part of Springfield had to offer. Buzz Bomb was on my list of places to check out and conveniently, it was about a 5 minute walk away. So, we took our coffees and hit the pavement. Emily and I were greeted by some very friendly bartenders and we took a seat at the bar and got to looking at their beer selection. Emily sampled two of their beers while I ordered the Nanner, Nanner, Nanner. She sampled my beer after her two samples and immediately ordered what I got. It's a hefenweizen that doesn't taste quite like a normal hefe. Usually, Emily can't stand a hefe but really liked this one. I thought it was decent but tasted like if someone who never had a hefe would make if they tried to replicate one. I ended up having two 5oz glasses of it while Em had just the one in the 40 or so minutes we were here. I've seen Buzz Bomb stickers at other breweries so it was nice to finally get to check them out. What I wasn't expecting was Buzz Bomb to be coated head-to-toe in stickers. Everywhere you looked, you'd see at least a handful of stickers on the walls, ceiling, cabinets, cooler, all over the bathroom and anywhere else you could put a sticker. The bartender hooked us up with a few stickers for our collection and then told us a lot of corny dad jokes. She was a hoot and helped make our time here really fun. She was also great at letting us know all the fun activities going on in Springfield during the summer. Unfortunately, we had to move on to the next spot as we were both hungry and didn't want the beer to hit too hard. That means Buzz Bomb is good for a spot of drinking but if you want food, you'll either have to go upstairs to the Korean BBQ place or pick out one of the many places in the area to eat. I'll definitely be back in the near future to grab a shirt (and more beer)

Triple B is my second brewery today and my 299th overall. Stick with me and I'll hit 300 today. I…read morecan already tell Triple B is going to be a good stop. It's a hope in the wall kinda place with a really cool lighting fixture on the wall made out of pipes. Drop everything and go check it out! Not a lot of people here yet at 4:45 on a Friday but a few. Good music was playing and the gent at the bar hooked me up with a flight. I just told him to give me the best they've got and hopefully he did. We will find out together... The Barfight Brown Ale was up first. This is an American brown ale. This one took me back a little to the old days which got me into brewing when Pete's Wicked Ale was big. Nice brown with a bit more kick than your English milds. Helles Bound and Down is a very nice Helles lager. Not much else to say. True to style and tasty. Pennyweight Amber ale was next and honestly I didn't love it. It wasn't terrible by any means it just didn't speak my language. Last up was Walk of Shame a milkshake IPA which is a style I often enjoy. I liked this one, although it seemed a little light in flavor for a milkshake IPA. Of course it might just be my palate. Triple B is serving up some great beers. I also happened to be in just a few days after a big fire right across the street. Triple B was pulling together donations for the businesses and people affected which is so good to see. We spend far too much time arguing over politics and BS differences and not enough on what we have in common. Sad that it takes a tragedy to pull so many of us out of it. If anyone is a glutton for punishment, please, follow my brewery, and distillery, reviews from across the U.S. and beyond! https://www.yelp.com/collection/-8iscFkpiiCI563-FDfwGg and if anyone is wondering who SWPFTD is you will have to check out my review of Black Market Brewing Co in Temecula, CA to understand. Yes, you will need to read into it a little to get the joke but I have confidence in you! I hope my confidence is not misplaced.
