I would give 0 stars if possible. They did not collect our rubbish at a place of business for over 3 months. I had to call and email everyday, multiple times a day. The dispatcher kept promising me that our rubbish would be collected, however no one would show up. I believe they would just tell me that someone was coming to collect the rubbish just to appease me and get me off the phone. It began to be a health hazard to our employees so we had to spend $700 to have a junk collection company come and remove the rubbish in the bin. Also, they had no problem sending me invoices on a timely basis every month for services they did not render. I refused to pay the invoices for the 3 months of no service and we cancelled service with this company. It took them a month to take their rubbish bin. Terrible company and horrible management. For a 40yard bin, paid for it. 3 1/2 weeks later I get a charge for $730+ without notice or warning. Called and said there was an over weight charge-which is understandable BUT there was no notice of charge. Although there are very few options on island for trash services, I would suggest going with anyone else besides WOA. I manage a building in Waikiki and more times than not I have to call woa to remind them to do their job. It is unacceptable for a multi unit condo building to go multiple days without trash services like WOA has left our building on numerous occasions. When I call the office, someone always says that I'm on the schedule and they will be there to service our building but no one ever shows up the day they said they would. All the office staff and management do is give you the runaround and tell you how shorthanded they are . Guess what!? THATS NOT YOUR CUSTOMERS FAULT! I continue to be billed for services that are not being completed. Even though the green guys may be more in price the value is there because they actually do the job their being paid to do unlike WOA has been. I'd give it zero stars if I could. They are contracted to pick up the trash 3 times a week in my neighborhood. They routinely miss days at a time. They are rarely, if ever, here 3 times a week. There are currently overflowing dumpsters all over our property and they are no where to be found. They either don't answer the phone or say they'll get there when they can. Originally Aloha Waste, and you would think that by joining up with WOA there should be more on time pickup. In the last 1.5 years this company has been "late" on pick up more than once letting it get to a disgusting overflow. I feel like this should be identified as a health hazard when it starts to get this horrendous. The best for all dumping needs. Response time is excellent and scheduling is as easy as pie. Communication with driver before delivery is great. Everyone I spike with was so nice and helpful. We had some demolition going on and needed a bin. Contacted WOA and they were able to accommodate us quickly. Once out bin was full, I called them up and asked for a swapout. Pricing is very reasonable, considering they are disposing of the stuff the normal person would have trouble with. (WOA needs to know what types of materials will be put into the bin, so have that ready.) I give WOA an A+++ rating. read more

When had ROLL OFFS prior to WOA and ALWAYS had GREAT SERVICE! Now that WOA is our service provider, they perpetually never meet our needs due to a lack of drivers has been the EXCUSE! It doesn't surprise me looking at all the complaints that they receive on YELP. I live in busy mmMakiki off Pensacola Street. This is an 11-story Villagebuilding. When West Oahu aggregate doesn't pick up the garbage it backs up. If every floor has a garbage chute that drops the garbage directly into the big bin down below. We are all paying for the garbage to be picked up three times a week. When it doesn't get picked up one of those days the garbage backs up so the garbage shoots stop working they get full and filled with bugs. The resident manager of the building knows about the problem and has called them many times. Sometimes they say they're short-handed and they missed a pickup. Sometimes they deny missing the pickup even though we know that they didn't come by. In other words it doesn't do any good to call. This is a health hazard because the garbage starts pulling piling up in the hallway all the way from the trash chute to the elevator doors. I don't have any control over which company we use and that's unfortunate. I'm actually considering moving because this is a health hazard and a fire hazard too. Disappointing to say the least... don't use this company. If you Google garbage or Waste Management you will find other companies that will do a better job. read more

Several months ago WOA bought Aloha Waste who had served my Condo complex (Palm Court, Ewa) well for years. Almost immediately our trash pick up from a reliable 3 times per week (by contract) to, maybe, once per week, Their excuse was that most of the drivers from Aloha failed their drug tests and that they (WOA) were having trouble finding replacements. After being threatened with legal action, things sort of got better, but now for the last month, we're back to one pickup per week and it's getting messy. Once again their excuse is lack of qualified drivers ... yeah right, I'm beginning to think that they're having trouble finding minimum wage workers who also have a current Hi CDL ... or something like that. read more

Drivers are always late or never ever come to grab the trash other then when called. Bad service. Don't ever hire them. They charge twice to your debit/credit card with out letting the customers . Our first charge is ok which stated in the contract and per representative. After they pick the bin 7 days after they deduct additional amount again from our debit/credit with out letting the customer. When I called them their billing representative told me over weight. You should notify the customers first before deducting additional amount from their bank. We are shock . This is probably happened to a lot customers to them. read more

After calling several companies it was easy to chose West Oahu Aggregate. I spoke to Don Enoki who explained the process of renting a dumpster. Since I was uncertain of the size I needed he helped determine that it would be best to take the largest dumpster. Don was the only person that was willing to go to the property to determine the feasibility of getting the dumpster on the property. He followed through with always calling and assured a prompt delivery, The dumpster was clean and the property was not damaged in anyway. I definitely would recommend West Oahu Aggregate. read more

For the past 2 1/2 months I've had to call every Monday because my dumpster wasn't picked up. They couldn't figure out how to get our standard four wheel master lock open. It's the same one they have on their gate. Took the lock to them so I could show the guys how to operate it. Then they said they didn't haven't any other customers near us so the schedule was off. The business 20' away from ours has a WOA dumpster just like ours. Today is Thursday. Three calls this week, no return call, no dumpster pick up, left a message for their manager of operations yesterday at 2 pm. No call and no trash pickup today. I couldn't be happier that WOA bought out the bankrupt and horrible Rolloffs Hawaii. Rolloffs had trucks that belonged in the landfill, dangerous and filthy. WOA is a great company, in my townhouse area they have already shown to be on the ball with pickup. Renovated my house and called WOA for a dumpster. Friendly local staff, easy to speak with, and helpful. Dumpster arrived on time. The only complaint I have was I requested the dumpster door face the driveway so it would be easy for us to haul the junk in but the driver dropped the dumpster the opposite way so we had to haul our heavy trash a few more steps. read more
