Shout out to Mr. Reid and West Metro Drive School! I've had him for my first and second driving session. And I plan on having him as an instructor for the rest of my sessions. I've always heard the quote," Do what you love and you'll never have to work a day in your life." Very few people I've met, I think, have personally found that. But, it is so inspiring when you get the chance to meet someone like that. Going on with that notion, I can tell Mr. Reid genuinely cares about your safety and the well being of others. He doesn't sugar coat things that you need to work on, but also gives you encouragement/advice on how to improve. He makes sure you learn good driving habits that will help you become an even better driver in the future. What I like is that you KEEP GOING OVER WHAT YOU HAVE PRACTICED. Repetition really helps me, especially when I'm adding other components in. So it's not all new information at once. You aren't rushed either. You can take your time. If you're anxious about driving, don't think that you're the only one. Driving instructors understand where you're coming from and WANT TO HELP YOU to the best of their abilities to become more comfortable. You aren't obligated to drive a full two hours nonstop. If you need to have a break in the middle of a session, feel free to let them know! It also shows that you know your tolerance and you're being responsible. Sessions shouldn't just be a check mark off a list. Slow and steady wins the race. If you want to become a successful driver then you need learn from one! I had Mr. Reid as an instructor and he was amazing he took the time and effort out of his day to make time for my lessons to get on the road and get practice as much as I can. it was all beneficial to me because as of today I am a licensed driver and it was all because of him. As an instructor Mr. Reid guides you in an amazing way using little phrases such as "dont wake grandma up" etc and for new drivers, or drivers who lack that driving experience it helps because you know exactly what to do. Like i said Mr Reid is a wonderful instructor he was able to install confidence in me that i lacked. The school overall has a really amazing staff they are all as sweet as candy and they love to make small talk which always helps take a bit of nervousness away their customer service is great. I highly recommend West Metro Driving School!! David Reid was my son's driving instructor and I can honestly say he is amazing. My son started at absolute ground zero with no time behind the wheel previously, except in a parking lot with me, to a confident driver who just passed his driving test in just a few lessons. Mr. Reid is patient and thorough. Plus, the scores and feedback for each session on multiple driving aspects are honest and really helped with his practice in between lessons. I've only had two sessions with them, but I learned many key components of driving and how to be safe and efficient on the road. I spent four Saturdays in a classroom for eight hours learning about defensive driving exclusively under Mr. Robinson's teaching. He emphasized the importance of the I.P.D.E. process and taught everything needed to know to start becoming a good driver. I had my first session with Mrs. Harrill, who - though a bit lenient - introduced me to parallel parking, backing in, vertical backing, and driving on the road. Mr. Reid just finished teaching me lane changes, maintaining speed, U-turns, car handling, and more. He was a very instructive and meticulous teacher, and I greatly appreciated it. read more

I took this class with Mr. Massey and overall it went pretty well. I definitely learned some tips and tricks from him and to be honest I am most definitely going to take some of the advice that he gave me to heart because I believe it made me a better driver. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to learn from a professional that knows how the road works and not from your parents or a close relative as they will most likely given you some bad advice that may cause you to get in a car accident. Mr.Reid is a fantastic driving instructor and a great man. He tells the truth about how you drive and he aims to have your driving be as safe as possible. Mr.Reid shows that he genuinely cares for how safe you drive in the future rather than just on the test. He was very friendly and I was able to learn/review a lot of driving material (hand-over-hand steering, U-Turns, parallel parking, etc.) Finally, he shows that he loves his job and he loves to teach people how to drive correctly. Ask any parent and they will admit that the process of getting their 16-year-old their license is full of challenges! My daughter and I spent a good amount of time practicing but she still lacked some of the fundamentals and confidence needed to pass her exam. I'm thankful for having Mr. David at West Metro compliment what she already knew and help build up her confidence. Our daughter completed the classroom and required driving hours through West Metro Driving School. She was very nervous to drive with someone she didn't know. After reading reviews and hearing positive comments from friends, we scheduled her driving session with Mr. Reid. He is an excellent instructor and made her comfortable. Today I had my 4th session with Mr.Reid and it was one of the most informative sessions I have had so far in my experience at this school. West Metro did a great job for my daughter. We had to rearrange some of the classes due to issues with their scheduling and ours, and West Metro could not have handled it any better.
