Told them what my intended use was and the budget. I had checked around on their website before going in and had an idea of what I thought I wanted, but the gentleman who was assisting us suggested a different reel and rod setup based on what I had told him. Glad I listened to his advice, have been out a couple of times already and am very happy with the performance of the setup. The staff seems very knowledgeable and helpful, not to mention the shop has everything that you will need, great selection and options for every budget. Love the fact that it's a local shop as well, and not just another Dick's or Walmart.

ONLINE ORDER- So i…read moreordered a a rod from this place and it was somehow delivered to the wrong house so i emailed them back and they were glad to send a replacement, cool. After 3 weeks i noticed i still havent received a tracking number from them as the status of the item stayed at "we are preparing your item to ship. I finally email back and the owner reply "I sent a message to the shipping dept." That's all you say? Didnt want to look into it? Shift the blame if there was a shipping department. I dont think he had the intention of ever sending a replacement hoping i'd go away silently so i just disputed it with my credit card company which gave him 3 weeks to reply. The audacity of this owner to send me an email first before replying to my credit card company saying he wont be shipping a replacement anymore just blew my mind( i confirmed my suspicison as i called my credit card company told me they got no response from him yet.Complete lack of professionalism and ethics was the first negative experience since getting into fishing, the community is great but i guess this is why we cant have nice things
