There was a Bills game on, and it was VERY obvious that everyone was a fan! We sat at the bar and ordered the Oktoberfest, which hubby really enjoyed and said was very good quality. He even got a nice glass where they poured the beer into, and got to take it home. I went with a glass of wine, and of course we had to get a pretzel to snack on. They also have a seafood food truck in the back, which is a great option if you're looking for something more to eat. We chatted with the staff and learned that they've only been open for about a year or two. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed learning a little about the brewery. And we liked the beer enough to take some home with us! We ended up purchasing a 4-pack of their IPA.

The burger was made up of two patties on a milk bun with the traditional toppings. Very satisfying. The pork schnitzel sandwich was thin and crispy also on the milk bun and a nice alternative to fried chicken. Worth a stop for a casual meal while in Catskill!

We had the raclette, herbed spaetzle and split chicken schnitzel. First, the raclette was so delicious. The cheese was warm and gooey over tender potatoes, and accompanied by various pickled items & crostini. The herbed spaetzle was good, though a touch sweet for my taste. Regardless, it was delicious and warm. The waiter had the schnitzel split for us without asking, which I appreciated. It was juicy and paired with sour/sweet red cabbage and mustard/tangy German potato salad. The meal was very filling and not badly priced. The food here is legitimately delicious, not "just good" for a restaurant near the ski resort. We sat outside on the upper deck with a nice mountain view. After dinner we had a drink by one of the open fire pits outside, which was a cozy way to end a delicious meal. We will definitely be back when in the area.

Ive been to Germany a few times and can say this is authentic. The chicken schnitzel with jager sauce is so flavorful and rich. The jager sauce is a dark brown mushroom sauce (similar to a Marsala). The Apple strudel was one of the best desserts I've ever had with cinnamon ice cream. I can only imagine how cozy this place is during the fall and winter. Absolutely worth the price.

There is a huge parking lot located behind the brewery/restaurant with ample parking. We were seated immediately on a Saturday evening and brought menus and drinks. The Cajun sauce was similar to buffalo but packed a better kick. We also ordered the Bavarian soft pretzels and garlic knots. The garlic knots were so light and fluffy and the marinara sauce was well seasoned and extra garlicky in flavor which we both enjoyed. The Bavarian pretzels were so good on their own they didn't even need the beer cheese or mustard dipping sauce. We were stuffed and did not have room for any more food.
