Service was awesome and the bartender was friendly and gave his expertise on the 4 beers I wanted to try. I started with the Guava and tried 2 other lights and a dark. I stayed with the guava. I did not try the food but the beers were solid! Ambiance is small, intimate and nice and it was starting to fill up. There was sufficient room to move around without feeling claustrophobic. In addition, they seem to have live music which was getting set up...what drew us here was that several yards away is a bridge walk across some Catskill River! I would definitely come here again as I liked all the beers ai tried. Maybe next time I will try some of the beer food!

The decor and vibe of the place had such good energy and the bartenders were also super chill and nice. There some menus going around and you order at the bar and pick up at the window. There came be a bit of a wait but they have great local craft beers to keep the vibes up! Love their oatmeal stout and the peanut butter stout. The nutrunner pale ale was another favorite of our group. The food is also great, definitely recommend the Cuban, the buffalo bleu burger, and the fish and chips! You can't go wrong with anything for the menu though and the prices are great! Very kid friendly with wood blocks and other toys they can play with. Plenty of parking and there is a food truck with small bites. The pretzels were delicious (!!!) and the buffalo wings were way too spicy (my partner who loves spice agreed they were tough to eat). Overall I thought this was a pretty good brewery, and I would certainly go back if I find myself in Hudson again!

I have enjoyed this place a half-dozen times. Decent beer, decent bar food. The atmosphere is clean…read moreand nice, a bit too generic maybe... No big desl. There is however just one thing about it which rankles, and makes me less likely to return. Namely: The staff seem to have been instructed to demand aggressively that you pay up front--or swipe your card before you've even been served. Even if you're sitting at the bar (not outside). Problem 1: Tips should be based on the service rendered. I can't know what the service was like until we're done. So that forces patrons to choose the "run a tab" option even if just dropping in for one beer. Problem 2: This policy feels needlessly suspicious and hostile, as if USB doesn't trust their (almost exclusively well-heeled) clientele to pay. And this isn't some busy NYC bar where people occasionally walk on tabs. And bowhere else I've been in Hudson does this. If Governor's or Padrona tried it, regulars would look at the server like an extraterrestrial. Management might want to take a chill pill and try trusting their patrons more; Hudson is still a small town. Take the order, do a good job, give us a bill when we're ready... After the drinks and food are finished.

Earthly Pleasures was the name of the beer that we had, A Farmhouse Saison style beer this ale was amazing! This is what I hope to get when I order saisons and a lot of time they just don't hold up at all. The earthy, funky, dry and grassy flavors in here all blend together to make a wonderful bouquet of flavor on your taste buds. Really an elegant beer and one I always strive to hope to have when I see a saison on the horizon for the next drinking experience. Going off of Untapped the nano brewery only has two flagship beers listed. Earthy Pleasures and another saison called Loving Ember. I am sure Loving Ember is wonderful if we were so impressed with Earthly Pleasures. There are a few things to keep in mind if you wish to pursue trying out this brewery at this point (5/11/2023). The address provided is what looks and may be what the company hopes to be a tasting room but may be where they produce the beer at this time. So don't go here thinking there is a functioning tasting room here. At this time and if you live in the New York area on their website has a list of locations where their beer can be purchased. But fear not. If you don't live in New York beer in the mail services can still help and that is how I got the bottle that Steve and I enjoyed. Suggestions for this would be to utilize Half Time Beverages or Craft Shack and see if they have the brewery's beer in stock. But another thing with this is that you need to make sure you live in a state where you can receive alcohol in the mail. For any other questions about the brewery the brewery's website can assist and there is an option to email the brewery with questions. There is also an online store in which you can have merchandise with the brewery's logo shipped to you as well. Here is hoping though that a functional taproom is on the way and I would definitely seek it out next time I am in New York state!
