I have been going here for three years now and have recruited others! Dr. Ho is nice, doesn't shame you into flossing (that I know of, we don't have terrible gums) and the prices are fair and she doesn't try and convince you to get unnecessary treatments. They have always been on time and Ana is a great receptionist who was helpful for last minute appointments or scheduling procedures. I heard she may be replaced, if so I will have to update with my thoughts on the new one once I have met her a few times. I'm updating a previous review I had made from a few years back when I first started going to West Gray Dental. I was so thrilled to find a mostly female dentistry, with kind practitioners and wonderful hygienists who were very attentive and caring. I never had an issue paying for treatments, and I had been satisfied with my care until my last appointment. As a teacher, I already have a difficult enough schedule to work around, and I had taken about a two year hiatus from regular dental checkups due to the terrible insurance my district chose, and not having WGD as an option at the time. I changed my plan over as soon as I could specifically to go back there. At my appointment, the new (to me) hygienist was very sweet. But when Dr. Ho, who I have seen several times before, looked at my teeth, she told me I needed a deep cleaning and that I couldn't get a regular cleaning at all that day. I take care of my teeth, and I was appalled that they essentially wasted my free yearly dental exam while simultaneously refusing care. They then quoted me about $400 out of pocket, with insurance, and they do not accept Care Credit, which is poor business practices in my opinion. If you want working people to have access to quality dental care, then make it so. This last experience had me feeling like I had been pushed out of a business I once trusted and recommended on multiple occasions. How sad that they have resorted to poor tactics like this, showing such little care for a working class person. Needless to say I won't be back again. read more

We love love LOVE Dr. Ho. She's great. I spent a year or two trying to find a dentist that I was satisfied with regarding quality control. Her staff are very patient and thorough. Prices are reasonable and Anna is a mastermind at getting you in on a reasonable basis. They're extremely good with insurance and I always look forward to my dental visits. The staff are friendly and funny. The cleans are good. The harder stuff is reasonable in price. They work with you. What's not to like? I've NEVER been sold a procedure that I didn't need. In fact, Dr. Ho and her other staff are more likely to recommend that we wait to see if the issue resolves itself than recommend something that's not needed. They take the patient's ability to pay to heart. read more

I've been coming to W Gray Dental for 2 years. (Wish I had found Dr. Kim Ho's dental practice many years prior.) My first impression as I entered the lobby was: "Wow, this place is so clean!!!"...The cleanliness and nice-and-neatness continued throughout the entire office. Dr. Kim Ho is the best dentist I've had in more than 2 decades! She'd take her time examining my teeth prior to making recommendations re: treatment options & plans. Furthermore, Dr. Ho has excellent bedside-manners: she's very gentle, patience, attentive to the details and my dental care. Ana and her colleagues at the front desk were very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful with scheduling, treatment-planning, insurance-verication, pricing, and appointment-follow-ups. Dr. Ho's assistants in the exam rooms - ex-ray technicians, dental hygienists, and (especially) dental assistants - were very respectful, friendly, skillful, and professional. Finally, I, especially, appreciate how everyone attentively listened to my concerns, thoughts, and opinions (due to my ignorant-ness) without interruption. :) read more

Everyone from Ana and (shucks, I forgot her name!) at the front desk to "Figs" =) aka Gracie who took my x-rays, then there's Donna, who is hands down the best dental hygienist in the world! Finally, there's Dr.Ho, the best way I can describe my experience with her is, I have never felt more confident in a dental assessment. She's very clearly not some trying to make a bunch of money and their dental practice is just a means to that end. Dr. Ho is cut from a different fabric. She's a people first person, I see why she is known for her high standards and ethics. I only regret that I didn't find Dr. Ho's West Gray Dental years earlier! read more

I don't share the other reviewers sentiments. I didn't have a great experience. They took X-rays and did an exam. I felt like they were a little judgmental and shamed me a bit for the past work that I had. (Like i had control of that?!?) They recommended a deep cleaning which would require anesthesia. This would take 2 visits and being new - I would have preferred to see how they do a general cleaning but that wasn't an option. I know a few other people who have been here and they all needed a deep cleaning too. Why try to anesthetize patients on their first visit? It felt like a fleecing so not surprised they had so many openings in their schedule. The assistant Ana was nice so those two stars are for her! Update 2/21/22: Dr. Ho emailed me to take my review down on Google and said my experience was untrue. This was my experience. I found her email unprofessional and I wonder how many other people have been pressured to remove theirs. These statements are all my opinion. read more

I am so glad I found this place. I switched from my old dentist due to them never having availability that worked with my schedule, and taking months to be seen. I wish I would have come here from the beginning! Everyone I have ever interacted with here has been so pleasant and sweet! Dr. Ho was very nice and informative, and has a conservative approach when it comes to your dental needs which I can appreciate. Also, Veronica who's done my cleanings and the other hygienist (I didn't catch her name), have always done a phenomenal job! I am very happy here, and my kiddo likes it too! I went in a cleaning today. The receptionist seemed nice although they insisted on me getting an x-ray, even though it wasn't needed I just needed a cleaning. probably to get more money from the insurance company. Ridiculous. After I finished my cleaning the dentist wanted to check on my teeth. Even tho I didnt ask for her opinion and I didnt want her to. She started looking for problems in my teeth even tho I didnt have any tooth decay or issues at all. I just wanted to come for a cleaning and leave. I wont be coming back here read more

Great experience here. The front desk was so easy to work with scheduling my appointment and confirming my insurance would cover my cleaning. The building is beautiful, very modern and very clean. I waited about 2 minutes in the waiting room until I was called back for X-rays. After X-rays I was taken into my room and waited no more than 5 minutes for the doctor. Dr. Ho came in, was lovely, and actually performed the entire cleaning. She had an assistant in the whole time making sure I was comfortable and was very gentle. I was in and out in less than 45 minutes and can't recommend them enough. read more
