Fortunately an acquaintance uses Happy Camper for her dogs and highly recommended them. After calls to other places and to Happy Camper it was clear Happy Camper would be the best place for my 15-year-old baby girl. That all the forms and sending documents could be done electronically was beyond fantastic. My Couscous came home, happy, healthy, and relaxed -- and maybe a little disappointed she wasn't still there. I recently had to go back into the hospital so again needed to board Couscous again with no planning time. Happy Camper welcomed her. I think the best thing a dog parent can hear about a place is what their dog says: As Couscous realized where she was going, she got excited and wagged all her rear body parts in excitement.

The staff used to be friendly and I was okay to leave him there. The last few times, there's a new guy at reception who basically bit my head off because I went to the back since he was in the back for a good 7 minutes before I went back to get my dog. He's rude and I don't trust my dog with him. They say your dog learns to go indoors but mine always pees like he's been holding it for days when I get him. Now I drive the 20 mins each way to the Dude Ranch and I won't ever take him there again. The video footage is unreliable and mostly I've seen mine sleeping in a corner, when it's working. Some of the staff are awesome and my pup loves them. But not worth dealing with the guy at the front desk who interacts like he's doing you a $30 a day favor. This place was fine before they hired Maren (male Karen). Your business is lost to me.

We set up the "meet and greet" and multiple employees came over to see where the food, water, litter, etc is and to meet my cat. Everyone wore masks to comply with covid precautions. Over the week they were extremely professional and took great care of my cat. They stayed with him for 30 minutes per day and played with him in addition to cleaning the litter and preparing his food. They even cleaned up a little leak I had after it rained really hard one day. After each visit I got a detailed email with all they did and multiple cat photos. I'm always so worried about my cat when I go away and they made me feel so much better. I'm so so happy with this service and will 100% be using them again!
