The architecture is a solid…read morethrowback, very much old-school Reno, with wide open interior spaces that give it a nostalgic charm you don't see much anymore. It doesn't try to be flashy, and that's part of what makes it cool. One of the best surprises is having the Reno library right inside the mall. It adds a strong community feel and gives the space more purpose than a typical shopping center. You'll see people studying, families stopping in, and locals just passing through, which adds to the character. That said, it really feels like there's an opportunity here. I wish there were more stores and restaurants inside to help bring in more foot traffic and energy. With the architecture and built-in library already in place, a stronger mix of shops and food spots could easily turn this into a much more vibrant destination. It's not about high-end shopping or crowds. It's about atmosphere, history, and potential. If you appreciate classic architecture and unique local spaces, Reno Town Mall is still worth checking out.

Supported the following business while we were here - Proper Fit Footwear, Nevada Marketplace, and the library. 14 businesses; I guess the restaurants/businesses on the other side of the shopping center are not part of this mall...? Ambiance - Huge mall, but NOT busy at all. Good restaurants that we frequent on the other side of the shopping center. We rarely come this way. Plenty of mall parking, huge parking lots. Open 7 days a week from 10am to 6pm or 7 pm, see picture. Events - See their website. Service - Good. Price - Proper Fit Footwear, got a pair of shoes for an amazing low price. Will be back in January to see the next set of shoes on sale. Nevada Marketplace - Slightly expensive, but is that (should that) be the cost to support local...? Library = Free, thank you. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since the 1970s...?

In the past we only came here for the following: Apple Store, Lululemon (taking a break from this brand now), Starbucks (only when it is on the way). Now we have added the following business to our list: Carhartt, Mt. Rose Wine Co., Reno Running Company, etc. Also, it helps us visit some of our favorite restaurants here - Land Ocean, Skipolinis, and Miyabi. Chipotle just opened, but we are not a customer any more. And a free standing Starbucks is STILL being built. Atmosphere - Huge mall that is rarely busy. Well, they are getting busier and busier again thanks to Trader Joe. Plenty of parking. Convenient location for us, easy in and out from highways. Open 7 days a week from 10am or 11am to 6pm or 7pm. Pet friendly, see the tiny dog park/area. Free wifi, I have not used it. Service - Good. Price - Good, some might say upscale. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 2006. We were happy when you built this mall, too bad we have not been big customers until now. Are you under new ownership now?

Quality/Quantity - How is it that I have never done a review here?…read moreIs it because when I come, I usually go to Grafted? Well not true, I am also almost always at Perenn. Anyways, it is one of my favorite places to hang out, either during the day at Perenn or during the afternoon/evening at Grafted. We (my wife and I) also frequent the other many businesses. I just really like to eat and drink. Atmosphere - Beautiful modern center. Actually, one of my favorites. 8 small businesses to shop. 7 businesses to dine. 6 wellness businesses. See website. Family friendly, plenty of parking. Service - Depends on where you shop, eat, or drink. Most, if not all businesses, are "high end" so service typically reflects that. Price - Above average, but that is the cost for quality. Although the happy hours are reasonable. The ice cream is totally different than any ice cream shop, good to try at least once. One of these times, we will have to attend the special events, never tried those before. I like the fact that they have outdoor seating and have used it many times during the summer months. It helps to have lots of umbrellas for shade since it can be quite hot during the middle of the day when shoppers want ice cream. Since most the eating places are small, the outdoor areas are a huge plus. The pizza here is quite good, so go to try that. I like the Village atmosphere which is unique to Reno. It is almost like the places in Europe. Lots of parking and you can park on the outside of the rectangle, the backside, or in front. Never had an issue finding parking. More shade, and I would give it 5 stars.

We are very loyal customers. Quality/Quantity - Here for the Wax and Watch event DIG. My first time and what an amazing event. Fundraising for so many nonprofits, see pictures. Also sponsored by Fifty Fifty Brewing Co; I had a few too many beers, too good of a time. I also found out about Fifty's Grand opening at RPM, which we also supported and attended the next day, see other Yelp Review. Non alcoholic drinks were also available. Too lazy to have brought our equipment for the wax. Plus Mt Rose gives us each 4 free waxes that I rarely use up. Raffle - We did NOT win. Atmosphere - Clean and organized location. Love the NV art on the side of the building/in the parking lot. Cool! See pictures. Open 7 days a week from 10am to 7pm and on Sundays from 10am to 6pm. Small parking lot, but because we came in off peak (weird) hours, it is rarely an issue for us. And today we got lucky as the lot was full but a car gave us his space. Service - The team is so welcoming and friendly. This is the #1 reason we are loyal customers. Events available - See website. Again, my first but NOT last time that I will attend an event. We will probably come back Sunday for the Mt Rose Passholder Spring Sale. Price - Expensive, but worth the quality, service, and culture. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 1973. They have a lot of neat and unique shops inside the mall, and a few big stores. Also there is a little Korean lady with a seamstress shop in there, and I've used her a few times and was happy with her work. The giant Shepplers Western Wear store is of course a place I have to at least browse around in, though I have not worn western clothes on a regular basis in a very long time..... but a Texan is just automatically drawn to anywhere that has boots, jeans, and cowboy hats. I have self control though and dont buy any of it!! They also have a background check place which is what first brought me to this little shopping center where you go to get your FBI background check and fingerprints checked and a security check ran for employment and I had to go there for my last job...... In case your wondering I am not wanted by the law and I'm cleared by the FBI and considered a non security risk!! I SWEAR that time I was on America's Most Wanted was all a big mix up :-) hahaha The shopping center is an OK place, it serves its purpose I just think its time to spruce it up. The best part about coming here other then you can get finger printed and not need a bail bondsmen is that when your finished you can just hop across the parking lot and go eat at Dickey's BBQ!!!!! Yum!
