She eased my worrying mind. The dentist became nervous because of our daughter's…read morenervous behavior -- as though a 16 yr-old being squeamish at the sound of a drill is radically atypical behavior -- and instead of attempting to calm her nerves he refused to proceed, tried to blame it on the anesthetic, said he couldn't treat her, then referred us to a full-priced clinic that we can't afford (that's why we came here in the first place), and then charged our debit card for the full amount of the services they did not finish. This place is not just unprofessional, it's unethical.

When I arrived, I explained that it felt like something was stuck in my throat or airway. I was told - verbatim - that they "wouldn't touch me with a 10-foot pole." That was shocking and unprofessional. Instead of evaluating me, they immediately directed me to the ER. The ER visit ended up costing me $800, where I waited about two hours only to be prescribed amoxicillin - something the urgent care could have easily done themselves. Later, when I saw an ENT, I was told my symptoms were due to acid reflux. My symptoms had already been present for three days, so it clearly was not an emergency airway obstruction. It's frustrating that neither the urgent care nor the ER considered reflux as a possibility before escalating the situation. Being told they "didn't want to take my money" feels ironic, considering I was sent somewhere significantly more expensive for essentially the same level of care. I would not recommend this facility. Patients deserve to feel evaluated and respected - not dismissed.
