They performed an incorrect ultrasound. Spoke with the office manager (John Landgraf), he didn't care. Not willing to resolve the issue.

Half a dozen people say you better have that checked out. Get seen and she explained every symptom away; says if not better by 7-10 days check with your doctor. Why? For another $100 copay? No thanks. Your care was basically a waste of time and money. Will stick with Mucinex cold/flu, taste horrible. It might take longer to work, it's a fair trade off for cheaper OOP costs.

Made an appointment and when I got there the receptionist wouldn't look up, gave her my name and she just got up and walked away. I sat there for 20 minutes while they had a meeting. Finally, a nurse looked up at me and asked if I was okay. I said no, she brought the Doctor to me and the woman came over and condescendingly told me that I had a cold and walked away. After doing my vitals, they said I needed a chest x-ray and EKG. They couldn't get a good read on the EKG. So, they came back in and said go to the hospital and walked out of the room. No explanation just leave. I went home scared and fortunately, my PCP called me back and got a chest x-ray ordered and I received the appropriate medication. They never checked my ears, nose or throat after I was rudely told it was just a cold.

Having…read morenever been to an urgent care, I can't really compare my experience to anything but I've also heard of co-worker's and friend's experiences in an urgent care situation that sounded way better than my experience here. Being fairly sick and not wanting to drive to Clayton/Richmond Heights area to see my primary care physician, I decided to drive myself to this facility which is only 1.6 miles from home. I came in and was immediately greeted by the woman at the front desk who then asked me what I needed. I told her I've had this cough for a while and I started having a fever 2 nights in a row and wanted to see someone about it. She asked me for my insurance card and an ID then called someone from the back to take my information. From the sound of it, the other woman who was in the back when I came in was training and needed some practice. When you come in, they have a sign that asks you wear a mask if you have a cough. They have a box full of it sitting on the check-in desk so I took one and put it on while I waited for them to check me in. Granted, the woman was still training, it still took a good half an hour to put in all my information and honestly, I didn't like how she asked me some confidential information openly instead of just handing me the paperwork or their ipad to answer these questions. She did hand me the ipad to do 1 medical history page but she openly asked other confidential information. There was no one else in the waiting room for most of my check-in time, however, I still don't think they should ask you some medical history questions openly like they did with me. In fact, one guy came in while I was telling her about my "surgery" which was kind of uncomfortable since I had to tell her what it was instead of just writing it down or typing it into the ipad while another person (who isn't an office personnel or related to me) was within a good hearing distance. Finally, I was made to wait in the exam room. Not a minute later, someone came in to take my vitals. She asked about the medications listed to confirm they were correct and the left the room. About 10 minutes later, she opened the door and asked me loudly if I was currently on a certain medication and left once more. I waited about 45 minutes from the time they took my vitals to when the doctor walked in to the exam room. He asked some questions, did his checks and left... Came back not 3 minutes later to give me some printouts of the services rendered along with the list of prescription. They had called it in to the pharmacy already which was nice. Overall, if I had to go to urgent care again I am more inclined to driving to Kirkwood instead and trying my luck over there. It's been over a week since my visit and my cough did improve and no more fever but I was just not that impressed with this medical facility. The place was clean enough but they could use some training on handling confidential information and patient's medical history.

No shuffle through a big facility! Once inside we were greeted by a front desk receptionist! Once again a plus. The registration process was pretty pain free and it helped that I was mailed a registration packet weeks prior to the appointment. The waiting area was clean and comfortable and the patient rooms were nice. We didn't wait too long and everything was explained prior to each test!

We were referred downstairs for an x-ray, although signs were pasted all over that the x-ray dept. was closed. We were assured that they were not. Guess what? They were. We had to wait another half an hour to get another referral--a 15 mile trip to another place, which did not do x-rays on Saturday. Although it was still in their posted office hours, we could not reach them, because they had already closed for the day. I asked my aunt if this was typical of their service, and she said, "Yes." I've advised her to find different health care. FYI: We go to a different Mercy Clinic in our home town without this experience. However, this clinic is the living, breathing definition of incompetent. We have an appointment at an urgent care facility.
