Awful experience! I had an appt at 9 and was 14 min late so I waited and then scheduled an appt at 10:50. Had a confirmation and everything but the computer system glitched and let me check in kind of but at 11:20 saw it still showed me standby. I explained and showed everything. Finally got in at noon after talking to multiple people and it took 3 sticks to get my blood because of how dehydrated I was. The system is a disaster! Don't ever do walk in but make sure if you do appt it shows up on the screen and don't trust your phone. No one to talk to until someone comes through the door. It's a terrible system. Would HIGHLY recommend you make an appointment online. I just walked in and it took almost 2 hours! They are understaffed and there were lots of sickly people in the waiting room. Plus, they don't even have front desk staff, only AI-ran tablets. So, please make an appointment to skip the hassle. I think my tech's name was Clanise or something along those lines, and she was phenomenal. So patient and a great stick. It's not her fault they're so understaffed. read more

I've come to this location for the last several years for my annual labs, and my experience has always been good to excellent. Today it was excellent. The online appointment and check-in system worked flawlessly and the phlebotomist was friendly and efficient. I think I was in and out in less than 5 minutes. Helps if you do the things right up front....make an appointment online and make sure your doctor has sent the orders. read more

HORRIBLE experience. I don't remember the phlebotomist's name, but she was extremely aggressive and appeared inexperienced. She repeatedly missed the vein in my left arm, then attempted my right arm and finally succeeded. When it was time to remove the needle, she was not paying attention and moved the needle sideways, jamming it into a nerve. It was the most pain I have ever experienced during a blood draw. The entire interaction felt careless, rude, and highly unprofessional. This should have been a routine procedure, and instead it was traumatic. I was there for a variety of blood tests recommended by my primary care doctor. I arrived just before 7:30 am for a 7:40 am appointment. The virtual check in opened on my phone right at 7:30 am the way they said it would, I was in out before 7:45 am and it was quick, organized and painless. read more

I would avoid this location at all costs. While I live in Webster, I go to South County Quest to have my monthly labs. The Kirkwood Quest employees are rude, and incompetent. Quest management has done nothing to address the situation. The Quest location on Kennerly Road are both very competent and nice. read more

If i could give no stars i would. They are awful and very rude. I drove in a snowstorm to get there. The docs office messed up the blood work orders. They were supposed to go to LabCorp, and they sent them to Quest. This was the 2nd attempt to get this done. So, i was determined. BTW LabCorp by St. Mary's Hospital was very nice and friendly. Super nice staff there! I was late but nobody was there i assume due to the weather. They did take me, but they were very rude about the check in. The tech questions about the blood work made me feel that the orders were not there again. When i became upset she snapped at me and told me to calm down the orders are here. From the moment i stepped in the office it was sit here, sign there, put your things here. Very abruptly. Never a smile or eye contact. Commands not direction or requests. She was terrible at drawing out the blood and needle stick. Rough. Hurt. Just a nasty human being. What they need to remember is that they are providing a service and a medical service at that. This is not pleasant. It could be looking for discovery of an illness or you already have an illness. So stressful to begin with. Then you get treated like trash. They are paid to provide this service by us in some way shape or form. They have a job because of the consumer, us. In my opinion Quest needs to fire them all at this location. I will never go back and hopefully if medical providers are seeing the reviews, they suggest not to use this location. DO NOT GO TO KIRKWOOD QUEST!!!! read more

Times are definitely tough with still so much uncertainty regarding Covid, but I feel like if you are going to recommend to patients to schedule online check-ins the business should make sure the online check-in system actually works. My endocrinologist ordered bloodwork after my latest visit, and because their office can not do in-house bloodwork due to Covid, my insurance sent me here. I went online and saw Quest encourages patients to schedule an appointment as opposed to walking in, so I scheduled a time slot, received a confirmation, and filled out the online check-in forms. When I arrived 10 minutes early to my Quest appointment, I checked in with their tablet via the QR code I was sent and waited in the lobby for my name to be called or a confirmation text. 30 minutes passed after my scheduled noon appointment, and I still had not been called or texted. No info on my status at all. When a nurse tech came out to call a name, I went ahead and asked about my status (after reading an online review how many others had previously experienced this same problem) and finally got some help. A kind staffer finally took me back and I had four vials of blood drawn. The phlebotomist was kind and it went pretty quickly. The results arrived a few days later via email. I think Quest really needs to look into their appointment and check-in system because compared to my experience and many of the experiences I read online, it just doesn't work well at all. Patients are left waiting with no help or answers even after doing what was recommended. For some of us with autoimmune diseases, it's not safe to be waiting in waiting rooms for that long - especially with Covid still running rampant. read more

I made an online appointment and was called back to the room within 5 minutes. Unfortunately the doctor's order had not yet arrived to the location so I came back about 20 min later. Rhonda was very nice and helpful throughout the process. I barely felt the needle and was in and out in a matter of minutes. I know the reviews have been tough of this place but I got to tell you, my trip was smooth sailing. I had scheduled online so all my paperwork was done. I walked in at around 7:45 for an 8 am blood test. Checked in at the kiosk and my name was called in about 2 min to go back. She was pleasant, we went through some questions. She got the needle in without me even knowing it was done. Smooth easy and effortless. In this situation I don't know what else you could ask for. read more

Not sure why this location has a poor rating, my experience was phenomenal. Literally could not have been better. Location is spotless, I was taken immediately upon entering (I was early for my appointment and was taken right after I walked in), the staff was bubbly, outgoing and friendly, and they were quick, efficient and highly skilled. Terrible. I made an appointment for 5/14/2020 at 1 pm. I got there, signed in on the kiosk using my code and they did not have my appointment. I was told it would be an 11 minute wait. I said I'd wait outside (due to COVID). I read some reviews, then after waiting over 15 minutes without seeing a single person leave the place, I left. Almost 3 hours later I still haven't heard a thing. Glad I didn't waste my time waiting around, especially as I'm also an essential employee and have limited time off for things like this. read more

This location has HORRIBLE customer service. HORRIBLE!!! Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else!! There is an option on the kiosk to have a text sent when they are ready to see you. I signed up and stepped outside to return a phone call. When I received their text I was in the door within a minute (you have ten minutes to return after the text has been sent). She asked if *** was in the room then said "Take her off the list.". A little old lady said "I'm not *** but I'm ****" obviously making a nervous joke. The supervisor wouldn't even look at her and just said "I didn't ask for you". Then she said to take my name off the list without even asking if I was there. When I told her I'm the patient she was rude about me not being in the room when the text was sent. Why even have the option of a text if they just drop your name? She said "Would you like to have your blood drawn, by me?" in a threatening manner. I said "I would rather have it done by another member of staff". I was not given that option and she told me to go sit down, that I could just wait. Needless to say I left. I'll go to St. John's and have a professional draw blood. Don't go into the medical field if you are an unempathetic person with no patience. She should be fired. read more

When this client decided to tell her that it was unnecessary, I got shouted at. Sorry, not taking that. Gave her a piece of my mind in retaliation. Don't expect your appointment time to mean anything. Don't expect that if you are "Next" on the board that you will be. Staff seemed put out by the fact that I was there. Minimal conversation with absolutely no eye contact. She hummed the whole time I was in the room. When I asked the staff member to draw blood out of a particular vein, she completely ignored me. She drew the blood out of the vein that I asked her NOT to draw from. And because of that I am left with a painful hematoma. And Yes, I am a medical provider. I had two experiences. Yesterday was good in and out. Today I called to ask some questions for new labs that were sent today and the woman was not caring and helpful and rushed me off before I could ask the most very important question. Now it says her ext doesn't have voicemail and hangs up on me over and over. She was stressed out. And made me feel guilty to ask any questions at all. This was my first "attempt" at using this location. I made an appointment and preregistered. I was getting blood work so I needed to know if I should fast. I tried to call, but no one answered and the mailbox hadn't even been set up. I took a chance, drank some coffee, and came on in. The technician told me I couldn't have the test because of the coffee. When I told her I had tried to find that out, she just ignored me and to go home and reschedule. I went into Quest on Kirkwood Rd today at 12:30pm and had a wonderful experience. I have always been a "pass out" patient when giving blood. Denise was more than lovely when I told her this usually happens to me. She proceeded to prick me and then Tamara also came into the room to keep conversation going with me. I only had to wait in the waiting room for 10 minutes - with 3 other people, none of which had been seen/greeted/checked in by anyone yet - to be reminded of how slow and rude this particular location is. I left without ever seeing an employee and drove to the S. Ballas location instead. They've always been great there. The Kirkwood location sucks. read more

Rude staff. I've been here a few times and they were okay, but this woman yelled at me to sit down. I'm 6 months pregnant so of course I'm going to sit down. The sign said to let staff know if you are here for a certain type of test which I was, just trying to follow directions. It's a one hour test I had an appt for and it's way past that time now. I really don't have time for this and to be ignorant to patients doesn't help much. We'll see how the rest of this experience goes. read more

This has been the worst experience I have ever had. I had to fast for 12 hours and waited today in their lobby for an hour and a half to get routine blood tests done. When I asked them how much longer it would be, they said they had no idea there were only two people that worked there. I saw many others leave, but I thought I would wait it out. But after they took people who arrived after me, and others in the lobby also noticed, so I left. Others who were sitting there had been there the day before and the line was out the door. If you have to go to quest diagnostics, only choose this location if you have your entire day to waste in their waiting room. Others who left, also left because they had waited an hour past their appointment time while those without appointments were taken first. There was simply no rhyme or reason as to who they took and when. I agree with another woman who left - I will never be back to that location even though I can walk there from my house. read more
