Awful. Each of these locations are worse than the next. There are no people to check you in, only machines. Touch screen machines that everyone has touched and there's no hand sanitizer for anything. Even if you make an appointment you will wait for a long time so if you're working and trying to fit this in, too bad. The waiting room is tiny and even at 9am it was full to the brim. Literally every inch of wall space filled with people. So be prepared to stand outside or sit in your car. It just feels dirty and like a disease breeding ground. I've been to pop up covid testing sites in the city that felt cleaner and better set up than this.
If your disabled, need to sit inside or require assistance, there is literally one chair and no one to help you with anything. What's even more frustrating is if they're taking so long to get to you that you need to just schedule another time, there is no way to do that and no one to talk to.
Once you go in the back it's clean, but the care is so impersonal and poor. I warned the woman taking my blood about my veins (small, hard to find, collapse) and she just kind of yes'd me. I felt a weird bubbling when she put the needle in and now I realize it's bc she went through the vein. Then to top it off she didn't wrap my arm at all. Just put a cotton ball and tape and sent me out for the next part of my test, told me to check with her before I left and then disappeared! Someone had to leave another patient just so I could leave, and thankfully they wrapped my arm when I asked. My arm hurt really bad all day after and I even got dizzy driving home. Not usual for me.
The pic is 2 full days after, and I even iced bc of the pain. It's still swollen in addition to the bruise. I've spent 2 weeks in the hospital with an IV, and used to get weekly vitamin IV's, I have never bruised like this before. (This was by the pro, btw, not the student)
Save your arm, save your stress. Avoid labcorp if you can, but definitely at a minimum avoid this location. The one in Creve coure was bad but at least didn't destroy my arm. read more
