I'm not a fan of getting blood drawn but the lady, in the flower room, made my visit so calming that I hope I get her each time. I recommend making an appointment rather than just walking in. I got there 5 min before, checked in and was called within 5 min of waiting and the waiting room was packed. The flower room gave off positivity and well being. It definitely took my attention off of the blood draw. The technician (started with a J) was so nice, attentive, talked with me and before I knew it, it was done. I made a 10:30 appointment at this Quest. Got there at 10:20, was expecting to be seen 10:35ish as they're usually 5 or so minutes behind. Nope, they have a full waiting room and the lady said they were behind... okay, I sign in and wait in my car. Now the clock hits 11:00, and it's 30 min past my appointment time. I walk inside and the same lady tells me that I'm #8th up. Okay, 8 people shouldn't take that long, right? Well, now it's 11:30am, an hour after my appointment, and the woman tells me they have to cancel my appointment due to low staff and too high of volume of walk-ins. I asked her why they aren't prioritizing appointments like walk-ins like the Kirkwood location did, and she told me "every location is different, you can leave now". I drove 25 minutes, waited an hour, just to be told to leave... I will never and I mean ever, use Quest labs again. What a joke and waste of time! read more

If I have to get blood drawn, I go to the Quest on Tesson Ferry. I am sure all are run the same way, but this particular site is well organized and usually runs on time. They have gotten automated so a lot is done on line, which can be a plus or a minus depending upon your computer skills and navigating the site. You can look up your lab work usually within 24-48 hours. The blood drawers are good, professional and kind. I had Raiya (hopefully spelled correctly) draw my blood this time. She was fabulous- kind, friendly, personable, professional, and very good at drawing blood. She was definitely a "plus" to me and hopefully to Quest management as she is excellent. read more

They were rude. Multiple scheduled appointments before mine were dropped by just ignoring the people who were waiting in the waiting room. They tried to drop mine, too. No reason given. Then the tech was rude because I pointed I had an appointment and they taken me off the list and called someone behind me. I'd been waiting 10-minutes past mine and the man who was 10 minutes before me had the same thing happen to him and was also still waiting. Anyway, I got it done. Then I have to pay the bill (thankfully I have insurance which made them write down $669 of the $726 bill). Comes the next folly. I try to pay on the website and it doesn't take my payment and loops back to the beginning I try again, once again verifying I have done everything correctly (which is easy because I autofill for most everything). Once again it doesn't take my payment and loops to the beginning. So I pay by phone and I get most drug-out, insane prattle during payment process which takes nine-minutes. Every other place I make phone payments takes under three minutes. Between the website and phone call it took me fifteen minutes to pay a bill that should have taken me just one, maybe two. read more

USER BEWARE They took a walk-in before me!!! So waiting rm had to wait longer. My nurse had no social skills and was not friendly. Other nurse came to her door while she was drawing my blood and needle was moving (causing pain) as she talked to her about some other chart issue. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and sloppy at this location. The location on Old Tesson Ferry (located in a Mercy bldg) was much nicer experience last year, but you can't make online appt. read more

Went to drop off a clean catch urine sample. Was told I had to log in. I did. The display showed ~ 15 people ahead of me. I didn't wait. The walk up window has about a 3" gap under in. Took bagged sample and lab request copy and pushed it under the window and made my exit read more

The staff member who drew my blood, Kayla, was incredibly kind, patient, and understanding of my anxiety. Unfortunately, the lab seemed short on supplies and didn't have standard-size needles, which caused my sample to hemolyze so it couldn't even be used. The supply issues need to be sorted out at Quest. Staff is great though. read more

I signed in kioske screen with a previous appt but it asked for ID and Insurance. all fine until it gave me a time of 10:50 while I was there before 9 and appt was at 9 so it offered options and I picked stand by but time went on and I asked an employee who came out for next patient when They will take me and she didnt know and said I will need an appt. very busy and uncertain so I left and drove to Mercy in Creve Coeur about 8 miles away. there I could do it Asap ! my visit started off a bit . Unfortunately, their system was down. I was able to get a paper copy at the UPS store down the way by the Kennerly location. My tech professional was Debbie. Debbie informed me that drug and alcohol screens were completed at 12 and I arrived there at 12:30. The system allowed me to book the appointment so. Not the staff's fault.. I let Debbie know how important this test was for me today and how much I would really appreciate an exception if there was anything that she could do. She left the room and came back with paperwork to do everything manually for me. It was not an easy process and a lot of work that required focus. I am so thankful that she bent over backwards for me and help me complete this task. Debbie should be commended by management for going above and beyond to help a customer like me. Apiffany is an angel! When my orders didn't come through she stayed with me while I called my doctors office and made sure to get the order in. It seems like such a small kindness, but with a major surgery coming up it meant so much that she took the time to make sure to get my blood tests done and overcome all the additional barriers to do so. She was incredibly kind, patient, and a great phlebotomist, too! She is the reason I will continue coming to this location. read more

I read about every review on here about the labs and I went to this one for my teenager who is deathly afraid of needles. I made sure she didn't have a bad experience in top of her fear. I'm so glad we came here! Debra was amazing and made her feel at ease and made her laugh. The online appointment maker worked. We waited maybe 13 minutes once we got there. Very clean and organized and well staffed. Friendly people and overall great experience. I'll only come here if I need lab work done. read more

Terrible service. I had an appointment, they were over 15 minutes late. I am unable to wear a mask, but had on a face shield that covered my nose and mouth. All last year there was no problem about my face covering. Today it became an issue and they refused to see me. read more
