The guy on the phone was I think Bob and he set us up to have our water tested. 2 days later the man showed up who was Eric and he was very nice and said that he needed to test our water so he could make sure we ordered the correct equipment. He did various tests and showed us in a book with a lot of pictures as to what he was explaining and actually it was enlightening and entertaining all at once. The guy knew what he was talking about and we felt very comfortable talking to him. No pressure or sell sell attitude which made us feel better. We bought a system and they installed it and I asked the installer if he could ask Eric to stop by when he had a chance and Eric called me the next day and stopped by our home and I asked him to test the water now that the system was installed. Eric said sure, and when he tested the water in not only the sink but also the shower, we could not believe the difference. WOW! My wife and I are in our 50's and my wife said the water was drying out her hair, Well once the water softener was installed, we gave the dogs a bath and then she took a long shower and when she got out, she walked up to me and said, Michael, feel my hair. Despite repeated attempts to get the system working, the company's technicians were unable to resolve the issues. The installation was unacceptable, the equipment was unreliable, and the installation process even resulted in damage to our landscaping. For five years, we dealt with a system that never performed as promised. During that time, we experienced ongoing problems with our water, which we believe contributed to severe health issues, issues with our hair (turning orange and brittle) and skin, including severe eczema affecting my daughter. After years of frustration, we finally had to rip the system out and replace it with equipment from another company. What makes this experience even more disappointing is the complete lack of customer service. I reached out to the company again, hoping they would take responsibility and work with us toward a reasonable solution or at least offer partial reimbursement for the money we wasted on their defective equipment. They never even called me back. After taking thousands of dollars from a customer, the least a company can do is respond and attempt to make things right. We have now had to pay another company to replace a system we already paid a substantial amount of money for. Five years of frustration, failed attempts to fix the problem, property damage, and now the expense of starting over. I strongly regret doing business with this company. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend them. The equipment failed to deliver, the service was disappointing, and the lack of follow-up when we sought a fair resolution speaks volumes about how they treat their customers. If you are considering spending thousands of dollars on a water softener, I strongly encourage you to do your research and choose a company that stands behind its products and takes care of its customers after the sale.
