We were in the process of making an offer on a house with a different agent but had some concerns…read moreas our agent happened to be the selling agent as well. It was a Friday evening and we decided to have someone review the offer before making it official. We called Michael's office just a few minutes before they closed for the week and he was kind enough to have a look at the document for us. He called us back a while later from his car to go over the agreement. He warned us about some unorthodox details in the document and in the end nothing came out of that offer. A few days later we had found a different property we wanted to make an offer on and decided to use Michael instead of our previous agent. Michael was very helpful in finding a suitable number for us to offer, dealing with the sellers, and organizing the inspection. He was always available to answer any questions we had and made the whole process incredibly smooth. We ended up closing in about 15 or so days! During one of the visits to the soon-to-be-our property we noticed that we would have had a fairly nice view from the front of the building, if only the neighbor's big and almost dead tree wasn't there. Michael joked about trying to get them to cut it down, but it wasn't a big deal for us. Once the buying process was done and we moved in, the neighbor's tree was gone. I still don't know if Michael had anything to do with it, but it was a nice surprise.

DO NOT USE ALL SET ESCROW! I just bought a house in another…read morecountry where all set was supposed to take care of the transaction. Upon hearing that the money was being sent to another country she explained that scams are possible and I thanked her for the due diligence. However, I explained to Erica and Lisa that the sellers are local and the realtor in Belize has sold to 4 of our friends already and that we trusted the information. Even then, we were told that I was customary for them to call the recipient before wiring. They told me that they were not able to call to other countries and that I would need to call the recipient to confirm information before funds were transaction. It was explained to me that their protocol was to verify all recipients. This is great but they never asked for contact information. I had to remind them. If, indeed, this is supposed to be so secure, why are they not doing their part and why are we the ones that now have to sign additional no documentation to waive liability if the recipient didn't receive the money or if I was subject to a scam. Initially the closing date was 1/21. They waited until close of day and calls from our realtor before they told us that the loan didn't fund on the buyers side. The following day we were told all was received and were set to go. Until I get another call from Erica saying that we had more paperwork to sign. I was under the impression that was why we went into the office. And, this could have been avoided with basic communication. I shouldn't have to ask. A simple, your money goes through on the 22nd would have sufficed. Despite all of this, we still didn't close on the 22nd. Now, the 23rd, I am called to verify wire information again. I waited for several hours and saw no money in my account. I continued to wait until I received a phone call that says my account number is wrong. It wasn't. What happened was that Erica sent it over with the WRONG NAME! She made a major error and then had the nerve to castigate me for being mad and raising my voice when I was told to come to the office to get a live check, only to find out that the check isn't written and they don't know if they can give me the funds because they didn't get it back from the rejected wire. Again, Erica said that if I had provided the right number that there wouldn't have been a problem. Just plain rude, incompetent, and unworthy of receiving any further business.

Lets cut to the quick: We initially bought our house in June of 2010. It was a short sale and the sellers bank gave us 17 days to close our loan or they were going to foreclose. Ryan was able to do a full doc, FHA, short sale in less than that... With a SMOKING rate. Unheard of. Did I mention it was really EASY? And on to the knowledgeable: Ryan reached out to us when a couple opportunities came up to reduce our rate and get rid of our PMI. So Ryan helped us through a couple refis. Since buying the house initially we were able to reduce the cost of our mortgage by $500 per month. Keep in mind we started with a smoking rate, but we also bought at a great time. Getting rid of that garbage PMI in under 2 years was amazing!!! (Thanks again Ryan) Our refis were done within a week or two (no joke). Again the process was too easy. Lastly, the professional: I was referred to Ryan after I reached out to several other loan officers and had yet to receive a call back. The first time I spoke with him he was at the airport returning from a family vacation... Can you find a loan officer to pick up the phone let alone while on vacation? That will NEVER happen. Then around the time my loan was closing he was returning my calls from the hospital while his wife was having their second baby... True story. I have referred tons of friends and family to him, after they hear about my rates and how I was able to get rid of my PMI in under 2 years. A friend of mine was able to save a ton of money with a better interest rate through Ryan. And she said the same exact thing: Way too easy, under 2 weeks, I love this guy.

Serri was an absolutely exceptional real estate agent, and we can't recommend her and her partner…read moreGeorge highly enough. We hired Serri to sell our five-acre property with an exceptional panoramic view, our beloved home, and from the very first walkthrough she was extremely professional and thorough. She inspected every bit of the home and grounds and immediately knew how to position it to meet our specific goal: a quick sale, at a strong price, with no lingering on the market and no price reductions. A previous agent had pitched our home as a retirement property, which never sat right with us. Serri saw it exactly as we did, as a family home, and priced and marketed it accordingly. She brought in her own staging team, photographer, and videographer (including drone footage), and recommended a handful of relatively small, inexpensive updates, including a fresh paint job. The return on those modest changes was remarkable. They made a huge difference in how the home showed and clearly helped drive up buyer interest and the final sale price. Serri and George held a single open house that brought in over 100 visitors, and within 48 hours we had two offers above our asking price, from a family with young children and another who was ready to start one. Both could clearly picture themselves living there. Serri and George managed every step of the process with great care and skill. We were also in the middle of an international move at the time, which made everything more stressful, and Serri and George took every worry off our plate. Whether you're buying, selling, or just need solid advice, Serri and George are fantastic, and we recommend them without hesitation.
