If you're looking for a great surveyor look no further!…read more Matt provided us with an amazing experience. I highly recommend working with him. Basically we had to get a survey done on our property because we were building a new home and didn't want to build into the property lines. So the city ordered us to get a property survey done. Matt provided us with a good price and went on to explain the process of what he was going to do and gave us timelines on when it can be done. Very professional and he has a great personality. Our property didn't have any monuments and Matt had to set all of those, which were very difficult. After Matt did all of this work and submitted the survey to the county. We passed our inspection from the city. I highly recommend working with Matt.

Well over 2 months later, I complained to the company that they had used permanent paint on my asphalt and property. They assured me they'd take care of the paint marks on my property. Well, 2 weeks later, the BHA worker still hadn't shown up, so I took to cleaning up these spots off myself. I was miffed that they had even painted a cactus plant and my retaining wall! Total disrespect to the surrounding properties of their clients.

For some background, my family has a 5 acre undeveloped property in Olivenhain that we want to build on. I reached out to SDE as my family has worked with them in the past (about 20 years ago). It took them a while to get back to me but after reaching out a couple times and trying multiple lines of communication I got a response. After a few email exchanges and phone calls they wanted to set up a meeting. The person that would be our property manager arrived 20 minutes late to our zoom meeting and basically told me our project was a waste of their time but they would send me an estimate anyways. I totally appreciate that our project may be small scale in terms of what they work on but if that's the case maybe refer me to someone else or at the very least don't waste our time with a meeting only to blow me off. I was told by two people I would be sent estimates and I never received anything. When I asked questions about their recommendations for the lot I was told to google the information. Overall it was a bad experience but fortunately I didn't send over the deposit that he kept talking about. Unimpressed and disappointed.
