    I would give over 5 stars if I could! Def my most favorite place I've ever lived. I've toured apts…read morein the IE, OC + all over the LBC + ultimately decided on Edison for so many reasons. The ONLY reason i'd move out is to be closer to work (I currently commute for work but LOVE getting to come home here every day) - it makes the commute so worth it! Juanita is the best/most kind/excellent community director I've ever met. She is constantly looking for ways to elevate the building + the living experience + genuinely cares about people. I probably speak with Ronnie the most because I'm always asking random questions (lol) + each time I'm met with insane kindness, knowledge + simply just the best vibes. So grateful. Mike + the maintenance team are the best I've ever experienced at an apt bldg. They are quick, efficient + sooo kind! Any maintenance issues get resolved immediately. No waiting + wondering if someone is coming to help, you can trust that they're on it! (Honestly so rare!) Genuinely all of the staff are excellent at what they do + are the most kind people. They're super intentional about the community they create here + LOVE to host an event! We get free, fun events for almost all the holidays + they even host market nights!! + there's always free coffee in the lobby. FYI -The bldg/parking garage are super secure. I've never had any issues + I've even been away for weeks at a time when I travel for work + my apt, car + packages are safe + untouched. I've even had stuff delivered while I was away for work + the staff was kind enough to put it in the package room/apt for me - all you have to do is ask! -Great amenities/perks! Most of the photos on Yelp are outdated + don't show the upgrades!! You really have to tour in person to see how beautiful (+ honestly fun) it is here. There are so many gather/community spaces, epic rooftop views + a rad game area. -Keep in mind the valet trash, parking, package room are amazing perks that you pay for. Just something to factor into your budget. I believe we also partner with a dry cleaning service!? Super cool if that's something you need. -The location is 10/10. So many shops, restaurants, bars, coffee shops, creative things, the beach, the pike, all in walking distance! Scooters are always parked nearby if you need to go a little further too! -You can only rent 1 parking spot per apt so if you have a roommate it's something to think about. I honestly host my friends a lot + it's never been an issue. -Sunset view apt is top tier but that also means your windows are above the metro line A which can be noisy if you're not into typical city traffic/noise. It's honestly normal for LB but something to note if you need absolute silence. -The 1 bdrms are not fully closed in so you will get light pollution. You'll need to invest in a sleep mask or blackout shades if you need full darkness to sleep. (I haven't had any issues with it + use a sound machine for the city noise), just something to be aware of. -The community here is the BEST. All the residents are so nice + so many ppl have pets!! I love how pet friendly it is here + love meeting everyone's pups. -The rooftop views are out of this world. Coming home from a long day of work + drinking a glass a wine +/or reading (or doomscrolling) on the rooftop makes me feel like I'm in a movie lol highly recommend. Even the rooftop restrooms have insane views!! -They are Airbnb friendly if you want that option. I personally am not a fan of Airbnbs lol, but love that it gives residents an opportunity to make some extra cash. TIPS -Call before you tour to see what deals they have going on! Like if you apply within 24hrs of touring you get a deal on "x". Just call + ask! -Get a wagon to keep in your car/closet for big grocery hauls. Makes life easier lol -Use the service elevator for move in day! It's bigger :) they also have carts for you to utilize!! -PLZ TAKE A TOUR !! Trust me, just take the tour!! The bldg, the staff, the community - honestly just everything is 10/10 + the tour will really showcase everything they offer here (like FLOOR TO CEILING WINDOWS!) I genuinely can't say enough great things about this place + the people who curate the experience for us. I knew I loved the bldg when I toured, but seeing how the staff interacted with the residents during the tour really sold it for me. The community here is unmatched. Period.

    I'm leaving a review about my experience visiting this complex. We scheduled an appointment in…read moreadvance and chose a specific time in our work schedule to come and see the apartments. In the end, we arrived about 8 minutes early just to make sure we wouldn't be late. A young man opened the door for us (surprisingly unfriendly, which is strange for a leasing manager). He started by asking if we brought our documents and what our names were, and then told us that there had been a mistake and that we were scheduled to view the apartments together with other people. There was no apology, no offer of water or coffee -- nothing. We had already arrived, and apparently we were expected to sit and wait for the others so we could see the apartments together. I didn't realize that this was their idea of an "individual tour." That sounds more like a group tour. When we said we didn't want to wait for other people, he responded with: "But you came earlier..." At that point I was honestly speechless. We prepared everything, arrived slightly early to make sure everything would go smoothly, and instead we were told there was a mistake -- and somehow we were the ones at fault for arriving 8 minutes early. I was honestly shocked. The building itself looked dirty and the windows were dirty as well. Of course we canceled everything and will never return. Thank you for wasting our time.

I have a whole new rental agreement with a different management company that shows the active lease date which is charging me rent for months that I no longer have possession of the unit. There was a whole new tenant during the time that they're stating I owe , charging me excessively for move out charges does not intentively to maintenance repair request invade your privacy coming in your unit without prior authorization stay far away from this will ruin your credit.

Oh, and the management company (Norma Marron specifically) does NOTHING to address any of these concerns. The cameras in the hallway are fake, they don't do anything about the bugs, Norma is either friends or related to two of the tenants who make the most noise in the building so those tenants are never warned and if you complain, she'll tell them you complained so they harass you! Which is super illegal! She also unlawfully threatened to EVICT me if I sent her another email complaining about the noise. I could probably sue them, tbh. Upon the walk through to move out, she did not list painting as something to fix and deducted $550 from my deposit. :) don't rent from Cadman, they are slumlords and you will be traumatized.

If…read moreI were rating based on them alone, this would be a 5-star review: * The Leasing Team: Sophia (Assistant Manager) is an absolute sweetheart -- extremely kind and helpful. Ty is also super sweet and was a joy to work with. * Security: Tony the security guard is absolutely phenomenal. He is incredibly warm, friendly, and truly makes the building feel like a community. * Maintenance: Kudos to the new maintenance team! They are super friendly, warm, and have been a great addition to the building. The downside? I simply don't trust the property management. Communication is a major issue. We had a change in management that wasn't disclosed until the last minute, meaning I never got to say goodbye to the original team that helped me for most of my stay. More alarmingly, when a tragic suicide attempt occurred next to the building, management misled residents by claiming it was a "robbery." The renewal process was the final straw. I was very close to extending my lease, but the Property Manager constantly changed rates on me and insisted there was "nothing he could do" to negotiate. Magically, the moment I submitted my 30-day notice, he offered a significantly lower price. To add insult to injury, now that I've moved out, I see my exact unit listed for significantly less than what they were offering me to stay. Between the lack of transparency, the constant loud construction, and the high price tag, it's hard to recommend this place despite the amazing staff. It's a beautiful community, but the corporate games make it feel like they don't value resident loyalty at all. I'd also be weary of the area in itself, I never felt safe walking around at night.

    My father and I have had a horrible experience with Phoebe Todorof and Sage Trust Mortgage. My…read morefather is elderly and not tech savvy so i'm helping him. We applied for a cash out refi that dragged on for 88 days and still was unsuccessful. Phoebe said that it would take 18 to 21 days. My dad needs this loan to fund a big rehab job on his multifamily properties that is currently in progress, but now we have to start all over with someone else because we cannot take the incompetence anymore. I initially called in on May 28th, the Tuesday after Memorial Day. Phoebe was still coming back from her holiday vacation later than planned, so we scheduled a call for the next day. We spoke on Wednesday the 29th, and it went well. By Monday, June 3rd, we had turned in all the requested documents. I attempted to call her a couple days after we sent everything, to make sure everything is in order but got no response. She then reached out to me on Friday the 7th saying "she has multiple options for me and that she would send them over to us shortly and text me when they're sent". My father and I never received any quotes or any form of communication from her for 6 days, until I had to call her on Thursday June 13th the next week to see what was going on. I asked Phoebe if she sent the quotes because we never received anything and she said, "It's been super crazy over here at work," but then she added, "And I was on vacation." (The Memorial Day vacation that she's been back from for 2 weeks now?) I didn't know how to respond, so I was silent. She then laughed out loud at me as if she couldn't believe I had the nerve to call on the status of our quotes after not hearing from her for 6 days. She ended this call by saying she would have the quotes sent over within the hour. 2 hours later, she texted me saying that she needed a set of tax returns that I had already sent her on the 3rd. I sent the tax returns again, but we still never received any quotes. The next day, on Friday, June 14th, we finally received our quotes. She said the loan would take 18 to 21 days. Just the initial quotes took 16 days. Despite this, we continued to work with her because our contractor was scheduled to finish his work by mid July and we thought since there's 30ish days left, the quote was good, and our property management company, which we love, recommended Sage, that it would work out. It didn't. It just went on and on for another 10 weeks. I can continue the precise timeline but it's really just all of the same behavior. Over the next 10 weeks Phoebe would ask for more documents but each time I would turn in what was asked, there was a 7 day wait at least. I sent her very organized emails to make it as easy for her as possible and she still would ask for things that I have already sent her. The last straw was on August 21st she asked us for more documents to send in and so I did by August 22nd. Of course no communication for 7 days like always. On August 29th I emailed her saying "We haven't heard anything regarding the loan in 1 week. It's been 12 weeks total so far. What's going on? She actually responded that same day asking for 2022 and 2023 taxes that I already sent her 11 weeks ago and a most recent mortgage statement which would be August. She said she only had June. One of the emails I sent her on the 22nd, had August, July & June mortgage statement. Which means she got the email, she only took the June statement, and didn't look at the rest of the email.. I realized this was just going to be a never ending cycle. I had to tell my dad that i'm not willing to deal with Phoebe anymore and that we had to start all over again, and he of corse was very upset. Fortunately and unfortunately, our contractor is experiencing some delays which buys us more time to find another lender but this experience has been ridiculous, unprofessional, and disrespectful. The most disrespectful part of this all is how my father and I were treated. Within all this time Phoebe stopped answering my calls, returning any voicemails, text, or emails. A week would go by, 10 days would go by and I would try to get a hold of her within these time periods with no response. Then when she needs more documents, she'll send a single email asking for a list of more documents, pretending that I haven't been trying to reach her week after week. It's like Phoebe and Sage Trust Mortgage took on something they can't handle and instead of just being honest about it, they'd rather take my father and I down with them just to what?? keep their ego intact? It's been 88 days!... Your ego should have been gone well before 88 days. I have only had experience with the lending side of Sage Real Estate and it was horrible. My father and I feel scammed because Phoebe was nice at first, and the quote was great but then once we committed, we were no longer treated like human beings. From our experience, this company does not have your best intensions in mind.
