This is my Simba after his great service.

What an amazing team! My dog is so comfortable with them and they do a great job on him. I would recommend them to anyone.

My fussy dog actually looking like a schnauzer and not a fluff ball.

Avoid this salon at ALL costs. I used them for the first time today and had a horrendous…read moreexperience. The mobile groomer brought my dog back to me WET... I sent her a text message asking why she hadn't dried her completely and didn't hear back right away. I called the salon and let them know what happened and they said the groomer let them know my dog tried to hang herself while being dried so she stopped drying her for her safety.. this wasn't disclosed to me when my dog was dropped off. I was told "she was a great dog and did well". The groomer finally texts me back and says "she was acting a little crazy but she'll dry her better next time" My dog smells like wet dog and her teeth weren't cleaned either. What a waste of time and money. When I spoke to the receptionist she let me know the owner would be in and would call me in 30 minutes. An hour goes by and I didn't receive a call. I called the salon again and was told the owner was busy..and would call back. When the owner calls me back she answers "Hi, I am supposed to be giving you a call back"?. It seemed like she was completely unaware of what was going on.. I spoke to the owner who was gaslighting me about the whole situation and said the groomer probably told me my dog was good to be positive... unbelievable. I will never support this business and encourage others to be cautious... I don't play about my pet. As a result of my experience, I requested a refund and received it.

I switch from a chain location to The Groom Room over a year ago and I have not been disappointment. Martha is great with my Pomeranian and she always gets the job done right and in a timely manner. I would've given them five stars but sometimes It's hard to get an appointment because they are always booked and busy. That's my only complaint so other than that they offer everything that you need at your home. How convenient is that? Keep in mind because it is a mobile service, it is a little more expensive than going into a location but it save you hours so I'll take it!

The first visit they said he had knots(he did) so it would cost 150.00, and would be less without knots. Second visit he had no knots, but they charged me the same price and then said his coat was thick(they didn't mention this the first time they groomed him). They did a good job, so I increased my budget. The third visit I was going out of town and the owner called me a day before his appointment and said the price would be much more almost double because the groomer was not making money because his coat takes a long time to dry. I understand business, but this should have been determined the first two time the Same Groomer groomed him. Lastly, the manager said since you were told 150.00 I'll honor it this time, but he will be cut low(they gave me the length and I told them it was hard for me to determine the measurement length with his curly coat, but as long as he was not cut low and looked almost shaved and had a little fluff since he is a poodle that would be fine. I was told by the manager and the groomer he would not looked shaved and there would be a little fluff. His coat was cut low and he looked shaved. I was disappointed because I felt they were nice people, and I tipped above 15% but an injustice was done to me and my dog.

My baby had an experience with another place and it was horrible. She cried when I picked her up and I knew something was wrong. When I switched to Bark of the Town her experience was completely turned around. she loves her groomer and each visit is always pleasant. I highly recommend them!

The assistant, Jessica, is still working on the van, so there's still a familiar face. During the first groom, she was 2.5 hours late (they let us know that they were going to be running behind, but 2.5 hours is pretty ridiculous). Winnie had some mats and we were upcharged for taking out, but she didn't explain the charge to us. Overall, the cut was good so I went ahead and prebooked the next appointment. A week before the appointment, I received an email notification saying that my appointment was rescheduled. I contacted Christina and asked why it was rescheduled (I usually try to work remotely on the days that Winnie gets groomed but have to give notice to my work). She explained that she had us on the calendar for the rescheduled date and I screenshotted the initial confirmation (with the prebooked date) and then she said that they don't service my area on the day I prebooked. Then why would you prebook us then? We went ahead with the rescheduled date and they ran 30 minutes late. I decided not to prebook my next appointment and consider options elsewhere. Although the quality of the cut was great, I would prefer to go somewhere that is more organized.

We tried this grooming facility for the first time about a month ago and we were absolutely…read morethrilled. Our little cocker spaniel looked so handsome and he was happy, completely relaxed and not at all anxious. We have tried other groomers and he is usually very nervous during and after the grooming experience. As a result he would often have some uneven cuts and if not we would have complaints about him being wiggly or reports of him crying. When we arrived to pick up our pup from Rufflections he was happy, his tail was not tucked, he was wagging and completely relaxed! The groomer did an amazing job and not one issue with him being wiggly or crying! Tasha did an amazing job! We found our new place!

We trust her 100% for the care of our dogs when we travel. She plays with them and takes time to make sure they are comfortable. We have a lab with some anxiety issues and storms really frighten her. If we are out of town, Dee goes out of her way to make sure Brandy feels safe. I have never known another pet sitter to go so far above and beyond! Our dogs are always happy and healthy when we return, and she leaves little notes letting us know things they did each visit. Dee also helped us find an excellent training place that has helped steer us in the direction of therapy dog for our latest rescue. While he was in obedience training, Dee worked with him on his commands for us. If you live in Southern Maryland, they are the people to call for your pet sitting needs! I highly recommend them!!!!
