Jim is an amazing groomer! We have been going for years and he never disappoints. He is so good with our 3 dogs!

I bring my dog in to see Jim for nail trimmings every month or so, and every time it is amazing. He is super friendly and does his best to make my pup feel comfortable, which says a lot because she's usually scared of people, especially when they're touching her paws. However, he makes the process quick and easy , never taking any longer than 15 minutes from when I walk in the doors. It's not the easiest to get an appointment in here but it is definitely worth it! 5/5 would recommend read more

Jim does a really good job at his small local grooming shop! Shop local people!!! Avoid the big corporate box stores... First off his prices are very fair and competitive. His service is top notch, and he got me in for two dogs without too long of a wait. For me it's all about how my dogs are treated and cared for when they are not in my care. I can tell you that my dogs were loved and well cared for at this excellent grooming shop. Love me dogs and I'll be a loyal customer. Now for the actual grooming-- my two yorkie mixes look A-Dor-Able!!!! Seriously they look great and their cuts were super cute. I gave my directions and wants, Jim followed and delivered on his promise for a great grooming. This is my first experience with a groomer in Denver and after calling several, I am very glad I went with Wesco. When i first Found Wesco grooming I called the shop and let the owner, Jim, know that I had a feisty 10 year old Shih Tzu who wasn't fond of getting groomed...Jim had me bring Ellie Mae in so he could meet her and give her a little trim and see how they worked together. I brought my dog to Wesco Dog Grooming for the next 4 1/2 years. Jim does such an amazing job, he's very patient, and he really cares about your pet. He never gave my Ellie a bad cut. I whole heartedly trusted them with my pup, and loved supporting a small business! I just moved to Texas and I am so upset that I have to find a new groomer! One word: wow. Came here on a really tight schedule to have my dog's nails clipped, and called ahead to make sure they had time to fit her in that day. To my surprise, they said that I could come right over and they would do it then. So I headed over, and the guy who clipped her nails had me in and out in less than 5 minutes! My only complaint is that it's difficult to get in during the summer months, but that just means too many people know how awesome this place is. Absolutely loved it! I had been trying to get an appointment for our Cavalier King Charles but they were always booked, sometimes for weeks. Now I know why! Our pooch Emma got in because Wesco had a cancellation and came back a different dog! She got a cute summer cut, nails trimmed, smelled delicious and even had two bows behind each ear, the first time she looked like a girl! If I had the option of No stars I would select that. This place is a joke. I was beyond disappointed with the butcher cut both my dogs got. I expressed my concern to Jim the owner and his lack of accountability was disappointing basically pointing the fingers to his employees. How hard is it to trim a dog up? How do you get this confused with a complete shave? They aren't even close in comparison, not to mention the 2 accidental nicks my dog got on his skin in the process. This place needs to be reevaluated for dog grooming licenses. I was in tears after picking my dogs up. Don't go here! read more

I called to get my dog an appointment at Wesco Grooming and Jim took about 10 minutes of his time to explain their business and even offered me tips on keeping my dog's coat nice between groomings. I'll be the first to admit- I have a difficult dog. That said, Westco groomers were able to accomplish the unachievable- within five minutes of arriving my pup was snuggling up to the groomer and getting his nails clipped. I'm pretty sure this cost less than ten dollars. I'm sad I have moved from sloan's lake but I'm glad I was able to find this place while I was there. Sooo much better than the chain stores, can't recommend this place enough. read more

Jim does a phenomenal job at a great price. I have an dachshund mix with bad joints and rickets who's had issues with most other groomers. She makes it difficult to cut her nails. Jim and his staff's experience with dogs is evident; they know how to pick her up and handle her when cutting her nails. My senior dog has had so much trouble with skin allergies, and has had some pretty terrible experiences with dog groomers, unfortunately. Wesco so disappointed me. I took my new puppy there for a year. It was ok, I thought, and then I called for an appointment to have Oliver cut shorter for the warm weather and Jim never returned my call, twice. So I tried Petsmart, OMG so much better and less expensive. I also wondered why it took 6-7 hrs., to get him back. so thanks Jim, you did me a great service by not bothering to call me back.
