It was a winner all the way. The restaurant is a repurposed building that was once a blue jeans factory, and perhaps after that a radio station. We learned this from a local couple at a table next to us. As might be expected from a former factory, the restaurant is spacious and has a lot of character with old wooden floors and high ceilings. It's very casual. You order your beverages and food at the bar and grab a table to your liking. We chose one in the middle of room to give us a little space from the live band. Incidentally, it seems they have a live group every night of the week! I ordered a honey wheated beer for my wife and a pale ale for myself. Both were delicious. I ordered the Reuben and a cheeseburger for my wife. The Reuben wasn't up to say, a NY City deli standard, but it was pretty darn good and I would order it again. It came on marbled rye bread with a generous amount of meat. My wife loved her burger, and could only finish half of it. She got the sweet potato fries and I got regular fries. We both got a mountain of potatoes-- a challenge to finish in one sitting! The brewhouse is a gem--a delightful find in the quaint town sometimes referred to as the "other Woodstock." 4 and a half stars!

The gravy is homemade. I can tell because I make it at home. Eggs were perfect for over easy. Always hesitant when I say over easy because the whites are usually runny when ordered anywhere else. Not this time. Whites were just barely cooked which is perfect. The home fries were rough cut irregular sizes which tells me they are fresh and not from a bag. It's a basic diner with great food and service. Add home cooking and you have a great place to eat. I will be returning.

Definitely the spot to go to if you're looking for true southern food, as well as just really good diner food. Can't wait to return after we get out of this food coma :)

Boy where to start this store gives WENDY'S a black eye.my family has ate here ALOT and time and time this same management and team member crew dishes out bad service time after time and with a lofty attitude then when u complain to corp they say you get a reply within 2 days,,,this franchisee doesnt care enough to make calls himself and u ask why go there if its this bad well WENDYS has great food etc,,,its the employees not wendys so until they get new staff my business will be little as possible,,,but when i see new bad reviews we arent shocked. read more

I stated I didn't want him to come in and make him clean everything again, but he insisted it was no problem. He let us come inside and order and he was polite and made sure we didn't feel like we were a problem to him. Everytime I order in there he has a sort of genuine kindness to him. He's always working there and the service and food have always been great. I do recommend to anyone.
