Solid snap on the onion, which didn't slide out of the breading when I bit down. The service was friendly and quick, and the restaurant itself was clean as a whistle in the very cool Waterloo Arts District, just down the street from Beachland Ballroom. The margarita was simple but refreshing. Shout out to the bartender for his craft! My only critique was on the ube cheesecake. The flavor was delicious! Had a subtle vanilla flavor and the texture was great. It just tasted like it had been sitting uncovered in the fridge maybe? Other than that we had a great time and loved the atmosphere. I'm also industrial seed oil free, and Hailey was attentive to both of our dietary needs throughout.
