I would have to say the food is not bad. It's typical Wendy's however, you never know what you're going to get. I have a pretty simple order. When I go there usually last minute for the kids rushing around and they almost never get it right. The line is always long and they're always out of major items. Last time they were out of frosties, again, and the receipt machine was down apparently. How is your receipt machine down? This place has been consistently bad for four to five years. Consistently the worst location in Columbus (quite the embarrassing accomplishment given this is the corporate HQ town for the whole chain). The employees are lazy, indifferent, incompetent, get orders wrong virtually every visit, and on top of their failure to get orders right they also are the SLOWEST I've ever tried to do business with. My wife and I our last visit had to sit at the order menu (nobody ahead of us) for nearly 25 minutes before an employee came on to say "Please hold" and had us wait another 15 minutes. When they came back, no basic "Sorry for the wait" or anything, just "Can I take your order?" Finally get to place my order only to be told half the things I wanted (chili, Frosty, chicken sandwich) were out of stock. I ordered a simple cheeseburger combo with ketchup & mustard only and got home to find they'd thrown in a double with everything on it, and no fries. My wife wanted a plain burger, unsweetened iced tea, unsalted fries. She got a packed burger, super sweet tea, and salt so heavy you could see it on the fries (not to mention when I asked them 'unsalted fries please' only to have the faceless employee snarl at me "We don't salt our fries, SIR."--why then are there DoorDash order options that specifically are to request NO ADDED SALT?). At this point I can't even tell if this was total failure or they did it deliberately as some kind of petty revenge for daring to order from them. Even when I've learned to check my order right there at the window, I get hostile attitude from the window reps when I point out wrong or missing items and apparently inconvenience them to have to then prepare what I actually ordered (and why do they need to rush me off? They're not in any hurry to actually get the next ten cars waiting their orders any faster than they did mine). And don't try to get around the waits and nasty behavior by ordering through DoorDash; they'll just toss the driver whatever's sitting on the counter without checking that it's even your order, and the driver can't do anything, they're not even allowed to check before they're being hustled to leave the drive thru. The only time these employees are in a rush is when they want you gone so they can goof off with each other or be on their phones (it seems to be about twenty high school age kids fooling around while one or two overworked actual adults try to get anything done). It's actually astounding that these workers stand around with their heads up their *sses while letting customers wait for interminable lengths of time as if they're really carefully trying to fulfill orders correctly, yet the end result of what you get is like they just randomly threw together whatever was at hand and toss the bags out to people in a rush after making them wait more than a half hour. I could stand the long waits if the orders were done right, or the mistakes if they were fast and friendly. Somehow they've managed to combine the slowest performance with the most incompetent incapability to get orders right. The place is often filthy, with overflowing trash cans right in the kitchen within view of the window. Have reported this numerous times to corporate and corporate now even replies that they KNOW this is a bad location. But whoever the franchise owner is that has this location, they clearly don't give a damn and I doubt they've even checked in on their property for months, have likely just left their few competent workers high and dry. If Wendy's corporate really wants to protect the chain's reputation, I'd suggest strongly they revoke this franchisee's contract. I tried to do business here because it's literally a block down from my home, and I've always been a hometown fan of the chain. But now I actually drive another 3 miles out of my way to go to the far better location on James Rd. Which is what I recommend to anyone else to do. read more

One star, I've been to this Wendy's a couple times, they're fries are always cold or they taste like old, I went a couple times and they're not taking card, that's ok, I say that I can pay in cash and they just keep me there, waiting for like 20 mins, till I go, it's been a couple times where I go for breakfast and they say to me "wait a minute" and then they just don't get my order forcing me to leave, I don't even remember the last time I went in, but it was a while ago, and I found a needle in the restroom, needles to say, this is the worst Wendy's I've ever seen, bad service, bad food, and it's on a busy spot, pls get good employees or just close, people get frustrated because of this, I've seen other cars just go cuz they don't take they orders. read more

On March 8, 2021 & 2pm I order a 4 for 4 meal and the so called supervisor started an argument over the speaker all because i was ordering this for a kid so I assumed it was a kids meal.. this incompetent person had to put on an cashier to complete the order after calling me ignorant .. He couldn't even handle the order himself.. I'm in the process of filing a Corp complaint because this guy has no customer service skills and needs to be out of the restaurant business all together.. will never visit that location in life... read more

If I were the owner of this franchise, I would do a complete layoff and rehire of most employees, mainly the kitchen staff. The service is always slow at this particular restaurant, and when you do finally get your food, it's either cold or something is missing from your order (no joke, that happened to me on two separate occasions, almost back to back). This was happening before COVID even was around. Even worse, one of the drive thru workers wasn't wearing a mask, gloves, or anything to protect themselves or the customer from the ongoing virus. I'm telling y'all, and this is coming from a fellow fast food employee, someone needs to step in and fix the problems with this restaurant, because there are quite a few. read more

Imma give this place five stars. If you're the type of person to complain about stuff don't come here. The bathrooms aren't the cleanest, lobby isn't spotless, not the cleanest place overall but the people here are awesome and are just having fun with each other while they work. I watched the lady at the register get hounded by some rude old man about the prices and stuff and they don't deserve that so if you can't deal with the things I've said above please don't come here these people don't deserve to be treated poorly. Have gone at different times and same slow slow slow food is thrown into a bag no napkins no utensils no butter etc. no checking of the order at all to see what is needed with the order. Needs a complete makeover of the Staff someone who is receptive to the orders the lines customers etc. someone who actually cares about the customers. This has been my home Wendy's for 20+ years. And without fail, gets less appealing every quarter. Rude service, everyone has 4 inch nails. Slow. Rarely hot fresh food. This last time may be my last. I think that this is one of the worst Wendy's ever and it is so close to my home. The other day my husband got a taco salad the chili they gave him was all liquid and the salas was outdated it was nov 12, 2016. When we went in to order the people don't even act like they don't even see you and are complaining the whole time. we ordered our food to go mine was ready so quick I didn't even have my drink, but my husband's food took about 10 min or more don't understand why he ordered the same thing except he added a taco salad, so by the time he finally got his and we got home mine was barely warm and we live 5 blocks away. read more
