It only took them a year to finally put up signs in their stalls that they aren't doing carhop delivery. Which is weird, since it's their whole thing. Last time was a fucking disaster, because they didn't bother communicating it. This time, at least, there is a sign. read more

The absolute WORST. Your order will be WRONG exactly 100% of the time. You will be missing items. You will be overcharged. You will wait a CRAZY amount of time to order. You will wait a CRAZY amount of time to RECEIVE your order. And the employees will be extremely RUDE throughout the entire process. I've never seen a WORSE restaurant. How is it even possible that this place still open? read more

I don't stop at sonic often but when I do I always get in and out of here pretty quickly. I always get the super sonic breakfast burrito and it is delicious. Service & prices are decent. read more

Service can be slower at times, but most things are made more fresh. The food and milkshakes are usually really good

Service was terrible! Waited 20 minutes and didn't even get my order. Seen 4 other cars pull out nobody came to the windows the entire time I was there. Won't be back read more

Sonic Drive-In - I stopped halfway through the second bite... - Burgers Near Me - Columbus, Ohio

Every time I come to this location, I have been met with rude staff. I am continuously nice and respectful (as I was taught growing up), saying please and thank you and I just get rudeness and no customer service skills at all. I love Sonic but I hate coming to this location. Unfortunately, it is the closest location to me. The woman at the drive through window was very rude and closed the window when my dad was trying to ask her a question and just stared at us. I do not reccomend coming to this location for the lack of courtesy and politeness. Adding to this initial review, we FINALLY got our order of 2 drinks and 2 pretzel twists, and the girl shoved them through the window on my dad nearly spilling them all over him. We get home and i go to drink my drink, and not only is there no ice at ALL, it is a completely wrong drink. I ordered a Sweet Tea with Mango and Cherry, and it is a completely unrecognizable drink. Smells like a mixture of different kinds of sodas and flavors. I am LIVID. Never going to this location again. read more

Everytime I go to this location the employees are VERY unprofessional and rude 6206 E Broad St, Columbus, OH 43213. Tonight 5.26.25 the manager of the store said I got smart with her and locked the drive through window and would not serve me. First of all when I pulled up to the intercom she told me to hold and had me holding for 10 minutes. When I gave her my order she responded with a "What you say" because she already had an attitude and I only responded louder so she could hear me. She refused to give me the total and when I drove up to the window she said she ignored me because I got smart with her and proceeded to lock the drive through window. She and the other employees stood there for almost 15 minutes and would not serve me. There were other drivers that they did not respond to as well. Multiple cars drove off. Idk if it's management or what but something needs to be done. There's no way they think they can be rude and disrespectful to customers and get away with it. This lady lost the company money all because she felt entitled. The customer service SUCKS at this location. I filed a complaint and will make sure she Is hold responsible. One more reason for me to stop giving my money to these fast food restaurants who could care less about customers. read more

No value here! #Regret It's fair to say the look of the structure suggests a nostalgic drive-in experience. Portions are smaller. Items are more ala carte pricing. Add on toppings are exorbitant. Throw in some flavor to a drink, cha ching. You are going to look into a brown bag, or a plastic tray hanging on your window and think, "that was how much". The drive thru was a bit worse. I felt like your wait is longer. Youve already paid $14 dollars at the first window, and have time to reflect on the small meal you ordered. Why you didn't go to a restaurant and get a better substantial quality meal not wrapped in paper. I'm sorry but that vanilla cherry coke, or cookie shake does not make you sink into your car seat with your eyes closed in bliss. It makes you take a drink from the small scale cup in your full scale hand, and think "that was how much". When they first started building this, I thought it was a good fit for the hospital staff and visitors to be able to grab food at any hour. That any hour was SO short lived. Sticker shock must have slowed that repeat business way down. Now they have standard hours. I feel like we are just paying for all those dumb marketing commercials that pollute our daily existence. read more

The food was AMAZING! And don't get me started on the milkshakes. The service was great and the line was short. Not to mention the workers are very nice. I highly recommend this place. read more

HORRIBLE SERVICE! I ORDERED A STRAWBERRY SLUSH AND THEY GAVE ME AN ORANGE SLUSH! THIS ISNT THE FIRST TIME THEY HAVE MESSED UP MY ORDER. They don't know the right protocol for correct pumps when making slushes. They don't know how to make a slush properly at all. I don't think they've been trained. I first had Sonic back in Missouri and fell in love with their shakes. Now, it's all about the dogs. Being from the Chicagoland area, I'm constantly on the lookout for a good Chicago Dog. I have to hand it to them, because they do a good job. They also have an awesome Chili Cheese Dog. They also have a very unique and delicious Onion Ring recipe. The breading has the same texture as the donuts from Smokey Bones. It's pretty good and definitely worth a try. The shakes speak for themselves. They have a very large combination of flavors, so you're sure to find one that you'll love. The breakfast sandwiches are among my favorites as well. I like a big breakfast sandwich and their Toaster (particularly the Bacon, Egg and Cheese on Buttered Toast) is awesome! I also love that yesteryear feel (not that I was there - lol) where you can park and have someone deliver the meal to your vehicle. It was originally intended for their servers to do it on roller skates, but I don't see it as much anymore. Still, it's a great place to eat. Finally, if you want a good price, be sure to catch them from 2p-5p. Half off during Happy Hour! read more

No star is rewarded to this Sonic. Ordered two chili cheese dogs. They brought our two foot long chili cheese dogs. I told lady who brought out the order. All she said was hum and walked off. They looked as if they're had way too much chili but ok I bit into one of them. Hot dog it self was lukewarm and Al - dente. I choked one down and threw the other on away. I here their closing of fee of these. This one should close also. read more

I sat in the drive-through for over 30 minutes as the fourth car in line only to get up to the speaker and be told they couldn't take any more orders. No customer service skills there at all, in that, if you can't take orders, step outside and tell everybody in line. There were about 12 of us. Don't let us sit there for a half hour before you tell us! Let me add, that was at 3:30pm on a Monday! read more

This restaurant has had numerous problems over the past 3 years since the pandemic in 2020 & fails to produce orders right, cash out or be very apologetic when the cashier messes up on food orders by just rushing and handing out food. My husband & I came Saturday 5/27 at 3:49pm and sat there receiving our order constantly wrong and explaining it to one cashier and hanging the food back and them trying to correct the order then getting handed someone else's food and having to talk to another personnel just for the same thing to happen again and receive the car behind us food order. We wondered up just taking the half of our order they gave and leaving as our frustration would have caused conflict & as a military personnel I can not have problems or situations like this come about. I really don't think I can come back to try is location as it seems management & district need to temporary close this place and operate serious training with employees so that these mistakes can be corrected and this place can come back on the map like it once was. I hope this district can reach out to me as I've always been a Sonic member & there's always a way to turn around a restaurant. Thank you in advance and have a wonderful day. read more

This Sonic location is convenient. They did have our order mixed up but they quickly rectified that. The service was lacking. Our food was also not fresh, the Texas toast was limp not freshly toasted. The tater tots same story. The chicken tenders were really dry and hard to swallow. This was the worse experience I've ever had at a sonic. So to start the drive thru line was very long witch isn't the workers faul, the thing about it was I waited 10 minutes before just deciding to order online and get it at a drive up slot.About 30 minutes have passed nothing about my order.I ask and employee beside my car she said she didn't know anything that was going on and she was "on break".(this was a lie though)About 15 Minutes later she has on the employee headphones.(she had them on before)So now I know that she was lying about being "on break".Then I try get anthor employees attention he said he doesn't know either.I see him walk out of the kitchen again. So I try to get his attention again. He ignores me and next time he walks past I try again and he still ignores me.I think all of them were frustated.Im still waiting for the order and a nice employee then helps me out.Turns out the laser who was "on break" is the shift manager. The lady then says that she can't do some stuff. The lady then says the shift manager said she doesn't care about the order. So at this point i can't cancel the order so I ask the employee to do it and i left after she canceled it. read more

I should've checked the Yelp ratings before stopping here! $5.89 for a Super Sonic burrito combo with tots. Let's start with the burrito..i asked the girl what all was in it before ordering (since the ingredients aren't listed on their menu)..she said it had egg, cheese, sausage, onion, tomato & she thought jalapeños. Well, they put 2 slices of tomato on it, which is weird to me..would have thought diced? Then the jalapenos were also sliced & only at the bottom of my burrito..just flat out not good at all. Let's move onto the tots..I've had them down south before & they are always hot, fresh & crispy..looks can definitely be deceiving because these were cold & chewy like they had been sitting on the counter for quite some time. Needless to say..I won't be going back for breakfast anytime soon. read more

So I thought I'd give it another try since it was right where I was headed...BIG mistake! This time ordered a chicken sandwich and a Reese Blast. Get up to window and they said they were out of Reeses so I got Snickers. Pulled out and discovered they gave me a short spoon. Fine whatever so I get my hand sticky. So the Snickers "dust" was only mixed about a third of the way down..so basically got a giant cup of vanilla ice cream. But then the sandwich! Omg I have never had anything so bad from anywhere ! The bun was burnt and the chicken was so rubbery and dry I couldn't even bite through it. It l looked like it was a Week old. NEVER AGAIN read more

This is got to be the most god awful place I've ever eaten at or attempted eaten yet we got there before we can even get out of the car there were no lights lighting up the place secondly couldn't get any service. Cars were circles around the parking lot placing orders when we placed an order they told us they were out of the pretzel buns another customer came in after us and were able to get pretzel dogs kama we finally get left after about a half hour 45 minutes trying to get service. Your place sucks you need to fire the employees and close the place down. No excuses for the type of service in the way customers were treated read more

The food at this sonic has been pretty disappointing in comparison to others in Columbus. Sub par but not the worst. Their fried food has around a 50% chance to be acceptably cooked; either undercooked or overcooked half the time. But just recently, despite a bizarre 15 minute wait that was likely not their fault, the food was cooked perfect! So for now they get a three outta me. If you really want sonic, and this is the closest, go ahead and give it a chance. read more

Terrible customer service! They take FOREVER to even take your order, let alone actually get the food to you. Their credit card readers in their stalls never work so a car hop has to walk away with your card to pay, which I think would make a lot of people uncomfortable. I paid with a card and the carhop was gone for almost 15 minutes. So if I see suspicious activity on my card I will know who is the culprit. Avoid this location at all cost. Don't bother stopping at the parking menus. They don't provide bellhop service anymore. You just shut off your car, thought about what you wanted, pushed the button, and to be told you need to go through the drive through (which is slooow too - yay! paying for gas) to get service. I will go ANYWHERE ELSE to go through the drive through to get service. Used to be my favorite restaurant. They took away the skates, and I thought "Urg but fine, people are less and less coordinated as years pass." But this is lame... shouldn't even be a destination on a map. read more
