This particular Wendy's has become a regular stop for us at lunchtime when we are in West Mifflin. There are lots of other places to grab a quick bite to eat, but we've kind of fallen in love with the staff at this location because these kids are really friendly and fun, and our food is always prepared right. Wendy's has always had good, reasonably priced fast food, and since I'm trying to watch my weight, I really appreciate the fact that they have some pretty nice salad offerings. The BBQ Ranch Chicken Salad is my favorite. The Asian Cashew Chicken Salad is also very good, but I wish they would bring back the cobb salad, which I miss. My favorite item on the menu is the Asiago Ranch Chicken Club Sandwich (with spicy chicken) and I am a big fan of Wendy's french fries, which far surpass the fast food industry standard. And of course, when I'm feeling like having a dessert, a small chocolate frosty is just enough to top off the lunch. This is not gourmet food, but it's really good fast food served by nice people who have a great attitude about their customers. That seems to be a rare thing at fast food joints these days, so either this manager is doing something right in his hiring practices, or he has gotten very lucky the past couple of years! I would have gone "all in" on this review and given the restaurant 5 stars except for the fact that over the winter months, it is often unacceptably cold in the dining room, and I've noticed a couple of times that the floor near the entrance was slippery. It was disgusting they messed up the order not once not twice but 3 times. The old blk man was rushing through the order saying he got it but it wasn't on the screen at drive through. Asked for extra strawberry syrup he took his nasty dirty disgusting hands touching the lid squeezing the syrup into the part where you put the straw in he was frustrated and all. Avoid this place at all costs! The food is horrible and the majority of the workers are liars and scumbags! I've been waiting well over a year for compensation for my family's order that this store absolutely botched! They don't get anything right ever and aren't accountable for their wrong doing. It's not right that I work hard and can't get what I paid for. If I did what they do and was as incompetent as these workers, I wouldn't have a job. Undercooked food, not properly prepared food, wrong items and I still went back like a dummy. I went to this location over an hour before their closing time. Someone answered the intercom and said they would be with me. I wait for almost 30 minutes before pulling around where a worker told me he wouldn't take my order because he was short staffed and they would be closing early. I go back a month later and order something for my family because we had a busy day and didn't wanna cook. They literally didn't make one sandwich right. 5 sandwiches all wrong and when I called, the manager who was a lady, didn't do anything to make the situation right. Instead she deferred by having me call a number that she said belonged to some district or higher manager and they never ever got back to me. Still to this day they've never made it right. The service here is bad, but not to the servers' fault at all. I ordered using the mobile app, the application indicated for me to go to the drive thru window to pick up my order. This place gets a long line for the drive thru, so, it takes a long time to get to the order display. Finally, after 15 minutes, I get to the speaker where the associate takes orders, I let the associate know I'm there to pick up a mobile order and they (two people speaking at the same time) tell me that I need to park, go inside and get my order. I told them that the app said pick up at the drive thru window, but non problem, I'll park, however, the wait is the one that gets me, why make me wait at the drive thru line if I need to get my order inside, I could've saved time and my food wouldn't be cold. Inside I noticed that the mobile orders are three steps from the drive thru window, and I get a little upset. However, as I look, I can see there are only three people working there, this is not on them, I bet they do all they can and I do appreciate it. My husband just picked up a drive-through order (from the app) for me at about 10 o'clock AM on 7/13. It was positively disgusting. The French toast sticks were jet black, and appeared to have been reheated. I received no receipt , so I have no order number to include. I didn't even eat the breakfast sandwich , since I have a TERRIBLE taste now in my mouth. This particular restaurant used to be wonderful, but the last few times it has been awful. I believe there has been new manager during this time period. The other nearby Wendy's has closed, so there is no alternative. We won't be back! read more

The inside of the restaurant is filthy, from the counters to the floors. The floors had garbage, napkins, tissues on the floor. If the Wendy's was closer I would take this right back! Skip breakfast altogether at Wendy's, they really don't seem to be interested in doing it right. Not only was my entire English muffin soaked with grease, it was also swimming in it. I can only imagine that it was done intentionally with all that grease. I must say, this Wendy's food tastes just like all the rest, but the service is so is so much better than every other one I've been to. The drive thru line here can be extensive, especially at lunch. A quick way around the line is to order using the mobile app and pick up inside. At this location My order is always accurate. I'm a vegetarian so I sometimes make strange requests, like no meat on my hamburger. Most places have a hard time understanding but this Wendy's always gets it! So, prior to a trip to the Mart of Walls (ugh), Kay insisted we find a Wendy's (and later a Handel's since she 'needed' ice cream) just so she could sample Ginger's new Pretzel Bacon Cheeseburger. I ordered one too for the frack of it. The bun doesn't taste at all like a pretzel but rather like a standard white bread bun dressed up to physically resemble a pretzel. No pretzel is that spongy. The honey mustard sauce and the melted cheddar turned the dressed-up burger into a colossal mess, both of them failing to mask the dryness of the beef. The colorful lettuce was nice, though. I feel like Wendy's is the gold star winner of fast food restaurants. This location is no exception. The burgers have always been hot and greasy and the chicken is always crispy. Haven't had one item missed on an order and for a fast food place that is a record. I lover the frostys with fries. Weird combo but I love it. This store used to be the good Wendy's in the area. Waited 40mins to go a total of 5 car lengths in the drive thru. Couldn't even wait that long due to work commitments. I blame management. I arrived at drive thru approximately 10:00 pm on Saturday the 24th. Drive thru line never moved I sat in the same position for approx 10 minutes approximately 7 cars in front of mine never moved as well. At approximately 10:12 I proceeded to call the location to see if I would be completed with drive thru in a 10 minute time frame and was told by person on the phone they were by themselves so no, in 10 minutes I would not be through the drive thru. 20-30 minutes for fast food drive thru is awful.
