They were suuuuper slow when we went through here, I'm talking probably 20+ minutes with maybe 3 cars in front of us, and my fries were cold. Why the 4 stars? They actually took 1 minute to write they were short staffed on a note and place it outside. It may sound stupid but again it took probably 1 minute to do that, and I haven't seen any other place bother with any notification. Also, it seemed like the cashier was the only experienced person there and while we were at the window she was taking orders and directing the line. Dry, crusty, and incorrect. That's how I would describe my order. Ther service was slow AND still managed to botch the order. The parking lot is dirty, It should have been an indication that the establishment isn't being well managed. I should have kept driving down the road. read more

Placed a mobile order for this location approximately 30 minutes before closing. Arrived 20 minutes before closing. No one would answer the drive-thru lane. I pulled around to the window and honked. The employees were inside laughing but wouldn't come to the window to acknowledge me. Closing time is closing time, not 15 minutes prior. I would say this falls on management. i don't know what the fuck is wrong with the staff here, but nobody answers the drive through lane AT ALL. I had to call the inside just for them to answer right away and say "just a sec." They are "short staffed" but i see 3 or 4 people in the kitchen everytime and that is plenty to handle the singular order they make at a time. read more

After a grueling 10+ hour road trip from Atlanta, en route to Shallow Lake, Ontario, we stopped in Toledo, Ohio for the night. We had packed a cooler of food, but needed a little something extra, so we walked to this Wendy's from the Fairfield Inn and Suites across the road. The restaurant is clean, service is friendly and efficient, and best of all, the chili was delicious and gluten free. It went quite nicely with the cooked chicken we brought from home. read more

Wow! We have stopped going to the Wendy's in our hometown due to it being so dirty and dumpy. They are very short staffed. It's a shame because Wendy's is my favorite fast food restaurant of all time! Today as we came back from Michigan we stopped at the Windys 0000242001 E. Alexis Rd. and had a very positive experience! It is new and kept clean! The young man that waited on us was quite personable. He took our order and gave it and all related components, the order was perfect. He then came out to check on us and see how the order was. I also watched him clean tables off in between customers. He got my refill before I left and offered me a bag for my partially eaten sandwich. It was very refreshing to see such a hard-working young staff member that seemed happy to do his job and was just overall delightful to be around! I looked for a manager, so I could give him kudos to him/her, to no avail before leaving. I hope management staff realizes the gem that they have! read more

Holy moly this has to be the slowest Wendy's in the franchise! On top of that this one has done of the rudest, most incompetent employees I've ever met! Tonight took the cake though! I actually had to file a complaint on the website (which I've never done before!). I pulled in the drive thru for a late dinner after a long day. 20-25 mins in the drive thru was irritating but I understand maybe short staffing and again speed is not this location's strong point. Place my order and roll up to the cashier. I asked if I could get some of those frosty key tags and she promptly told me she "new and didn't know how to ring them up" and was "off in a few minutes anyways so she wasn't asking" ... Ok...? I wasn't in the mood to argue so I said I'll get them next time. I had her scan my rewards app. I had just loaded one 15 minutes ago while waiting in line. She said it took but didn't change my total. I checked and it was loaded correctly (it's also gone now). Again, she wasn't getting help because she was "off in a few minutes". I decided screw it and just paid. Wasn't worth the argument and don't want to make a scene in front of my kids. No receipt -she just handed me my card and shut the window. (I'll add too, luckily I'm not crazy about proper mask wearing or gloves because she definitely wasn't wearing gloves and her mask was on her chin.) I roll up to get the food (another 8 minutes to get) and once I got it headed the 10 minutes to home. Shame on me for not checking my order at the window. 90% of it is wrong. (Side note, my kid is complaining about needing to potty at that point so I wanted to just get him home.) I called the store and got a girl who says she was the manager but there's nothing she can do since I don't have the receipt number. Extremely frustrating all around! After this experience I can safely say I'll drive out of my way if I ever want some Wendy's again! read more

OML! Please don't go there unless you have a couple of hours to spare. There was an elderly gentleman who came up to ask where his hash browns were, they were just doing them, 10 minutes later he's back up there, I mean 20 minutes for two hash browns. The girl behind the counter was absolutely clueless and must have been stood there for the fashion accessory vote. We were waiting for a milkshake, but the machine was spouting water out or something and 20 minutes we're still there. Honest, the place is a joke, and not a very funny one. Go some place where the workers actually work. Back to KFC for me. read more
