Took kids to get Frostys after school. I was told they didn't have any. Next day I called and and asked if they had them. Woman said 'yes.' I said, 'ok, just wanted to check. I was there yesterday afternoon and I was told you didn't ​have any. So you do have them?' She then said in a nasty tone 'you just asked me, and I said yes.' Was that really necessary? Was there a reason to be rude? Maybe she didn't know they were out yesterday and were still out, but she didn't know. Regardless, it was unnecessary to be rude. If I was able to put no stars on this review, I would do it. This has been the worst Wendy's experience I've had lately. we went in when we started. It was a very good experience. The young girl Camilla that waited on us was very talkative and patient and she took our order without a problem she offered us with our biggie meal. She offered us a soft drink or she said I can make you a lemonade back here, but never said it was up charge. We also ordered water with our kids meal, not knowing it was up charge for that either it does not say either of these things on the board above her head behind her that states all of the offerings for the different meals and choices . However, when I got the receipt, I did ask her how come she charged me an extra $.80 for the lemonade that came with the biggie bag and an extra $.35 for the bottled water that came with the kids meal neither Itam did she say again there was enough charge for her so I did ask her at that point to speak with a manager a woman come out from the back a very heavy set dark skin lady wearing a blue printed shirt. She did not have a name tag or any kind of it on her and I asked her I told her why she's me. She's like give you the $.35 back. I said that's not the point dear. She is an up chart. She said that getting water on the kids meal and eliminate on the biggie bag I said well the girl and I pointed the girl Camella. She never said that she never mentioned there was a charge for anything like water. I've never heard of it up charge for bottles water on the kids meal even on the side above her head it offers on your kids meal. It offers milk and a bottled water it does not say there's an extra charge for that bottle of water so I show the manager stuff that she the girl said she was a manager. I showed her on her sign. She was zero means zero means that she there's no calories I say the stand that, but it does not say anywhere in your store that there was an up charge for bottled water or for eliminate on the meals it's offered to you so I just said to her maybe you should speak to the young girl who waited on us and explain to your clerks that there's an up charge for these items they need to explain that to the customer when they're telling them that they can have that and they can have the lemonade because by not telling us we did not know there was an up charge and I don't feel that that's right. However, the girl that said she was a manager kept arguing with me. She's well changed. I said well OK I'll come back next week and see if it's different and she's not gonna have time to do it this is my store and I will do it when I have time. She said I don't have the time right now and I said fine I said, but just tell your clerks to take and say that to people so if you don't have it on the sign that you can take and explain it so that people won't order water they'll order something else. The other thing is is that she kept yelling at back-and-forth finally, she walked around the back of the store. The girl was getting my lemonade, as well as my bottled water. She came back around the front of the store, the girl that said she was the manager, even though like I said she had no name tag nothing to prove that she was a manager or an acting manager or even that she was in training. She came around the other side of the store she got the drink she gave them to me. I said could I have your name please? She said have a nice day three times. I asked her for her name and three times she kept saying have a nice day. She adamantly refused to give me her name at all yet. She said it was for a store. I said to her if you if it is your store and you are the manager then you should give me your name of this. Why shouldn't be a problem she just kept saying. Have a nice day. Have a nice day. I took her items as I'm walking out with my husband. She's yelling across the store at least a dozen customers way to get waited on. She's yelling across the store. Have a nice day folks. Have a nice day couple have a nice day and so I said to my husband I don't believe that she's actually the manager I believe she might be The in training or she might be a clerk that's been there longer and she's acting as a manager while the man is not within the premises or so the manager might be in the back room and doesn't wanna come out I wasn't sure what her reasons were however, I do believe that she was very inappropriate very much out of line. She was very disrespectful. We are in the store often. I don't normally do the reviews because of the fact I always have a problem. However, today was a major problem. I don't feel like she's in a position of authority and if she is and she should be taken back and retrained in your corporate training center on how to treat customers how to act like Customer is just very disrespectful. Since the most recent time I was at this Wendy's, they've redesigned the interior and added kiosks at which you can order (credit card payment only) in addition to the counter. The food was still just as good as the last time I was here, but the overall experience wasn't quite as good. The floor was REALLY slippery. It had been recently washed but also felt like it had been waxed. The latch to the stall in the men's room was broken. I had to use the middle kiosk to place my order because the other two were in use, but this one had some sort of stickers or labels stuck on the plastic which had not been cleaned/scraped off, preventing me from seeing everything on the screen. When you place your order, you're not given an order number, instead it takes your name from your credit card. It was supposed to display the status of your order on a monitor, but the monitor was off. Instead someone called out names. Unfortunately, that person had a very thick accent, and my name sounded like someone else's. Because there is no receipt on the bag, we had to manually check the order. They had two Coke products machines, but one only had about 5 beverage lights on, meaning you almost always had to use the other machine. Six cars ahead of us in the drive through. It took A HALF HOUR to get our food. The need to practice what they preach in this photo. Tried the orange sherbet frosty and was excellent. Very tasty for a summer hot day and creamsicle taste! Tried the Cinnabon dessert, it was tasty and good, but bun wasn't soft like a regular Cinnabon... was hard crust, still good but maybe heated too long... I'll try again as this may be an out lier of a bad one... I ate it anyway and was good with the excess sweet frosting... but good options by Wendy . 5 stars if my bun was softer .... This Wendy's was horrible. I would put zero stars if that was an option. The drive thru now has AI to take an order. The AI is too fast and you can no longer state the way you want your meal like you would to a human..."A single with cheese, ketchup, pickle, onion, lettuce" will not be processed by Wendy AI. Also, if you want to make any corrections it continues to mess up the order. So, Ok, we asked for assistance to get a human. A human did come on. We asked them to take our order because the AI was not correct, they said "um, I don't know, just drive up". When we get to the window, the girl with the long wavy pink hair and long nails that we were "inconveniencing" started to read the AI registered order. We said forget that one because it's wrong. So we gave our order to her, she rolled her eyes several times at us and then repeated the order wrong back to us. Then another woman in the background tried to help. We asked for two cheeseburger combos one with cheese, ketchup and pickles and one with cheese, mustard, ketchup, onion. One with Water, one with Coke. And we also added a sprite to the order. Well, neither of these ladies understood that. (Also, the pink hair girl kept trying to give us a chicken sandwich, which was never even spoken in the AI prompts). The pink hair teenage eye roll girl gave us two bottles of water, we tried to return one and said you already gave us one. She rolled her eyes again. Then we said it should be a coke. She pressed wrong buttons on the machine and overflowed the coke and we got a sticky, dripping messy cup. We asked for napkins which got another eye roll and she gave us one and held it up like it was the last one on earth. Another eye roll. When we asked for the sprite, she didn't understand. This order and the attitude cost us 15 minutes and $24.00. Overpriced for the attitude and crappy meal. The burgers were cold, and the fries were cold. Oh and both burgers were with ketchup and pickles and didn't match our order. Wendy's headquarters should be alerted that the AI does not work well and your people at this specific location have a nasty attitude. I would fire that girl on the spot if she were my employee. My first experience with the Wendy's AI taking the order and the AI took the wrong order, so we asked to speak to a real person & the real person openly complained on the mic about assisting us further taking our order(I'm not sure if they knew they were being heard) but the experience was very awkward and unprofessional! Horrible experience! Two hungry boys in my car after a soccer tournament. Drive thru is 10 cars deep and the door to the restaurant is locked at 7 pm! So you have no choice but to sit patiently in the drive thru. Get to the speaker to order and wait for 5 minutes! (watched the clock) saying "hello" "hello" several times! No one answers. Drive over to the window thinking something is wrong with the speaker. The rudest person at the window refuses to take my order at the window and says I have to go back around and wait in the drive thru line again!! WHAT? We drive off with two hungry and disappointed boys. The people who work here are clueless and have no idea how to treat customers!! I've gone here numerous times around 10:30pm as I am a night worker. I don't really know how this place is during the day but it is HORRIBLE at night. First tip: Do NOT get anything fried! You will end up getting something that has been fried like what seems like hours before and has been sitting under a heat lamp. I've gotten numerous fried items thinking each time that maybe just maybe it'll be fresh. Nope! I once got a fish sandwich that was completely inedible. Tip 2: They almost always are out of salad so don't even ask lol. Mind you they close at 2am on week nights and 3am on weekends. There is no excuse for the last two things I listed to happen. 3rd and final tip: Don't expect them to be nice or even acknowledge you after you've paid. If yes for both of the above questions, the Taunton Wendy's is definitely a great choice. Joe at the drive thru window is so kind, helpful and friendly. No, he might not of made much sense, however he was friendly and tried to seem helpful. Service at the drive thru is fast, efficient, and LOUD (maybe it's a little TOO loud, but I'd rather have it too loud than too soft....). Frosty's are the best desserts from here, and cheeseburgers, chicken sandwiches, and salads are some of the all time classics for lunch. Standard for fast food, but quality at Wendy's is much superior in comparison to McD's and Burger King. Plus, down here on Bay Street in Taunton, Wendy's is the only option (too bad McDonald's or Burger King are the only fast food options anywhere relatively close to my house in Westwood......) 5 stars for this Wendy's. Great service, food, and quality. I would definitely come back if I was in the area again. read more

I am shocked Wendy's is allowing this location to continue to operate right now. This was our first time here and not only was the location absolutely filthy (I'm talking nasty, it had ants, trash on the floor, etc.) but the people working were rude. The coke machines were out of ice and most of the flavors. Every table was dirty, and the food wasn't the normal "Wendy's" quality. Kristina which is a whole manager wanted to call my father broker after his card and credit card declined over what I'm assuming was a chip malfunction or something else related to that as I know personally he got the $$ for it... then wanted to try and tell me a jr bacon cheeseburger doesn't come with lettuce and tomato and the bacon i asked to be added to it after i specifically asked for bacon on it.... " and Look it on the website it clearly does have lettuce and tomato on it" and even tho i asked for bacon added to it after the guy told me at the window they only have jr bacon cheeseburgers for 4-4's which is false asf....."and because i told her it only had the burger, cheese, onion, and pickles she said it only comes with that...... so I obviously told her to add the lettuce bacon and tomato to it, then she wanted to get irritated.... Literally the worse customer service I've ever experienced from Wendy's or any other fast-food place and i don't even eat fast food like that because its horrible for you.... I was going to order via drive through this evening (at about 5:00). When I drove up to the speaker after the car in front of me pulled up, no one acknowledged me. After about five full minutes of silence, I said to my passenger, I wonder if anyone is there, to which I was immediately greeted by the drive through attendant. I began to order and was told by the attendant, "you don't have to yell." I was speaking loudly due to the fact that I was communicating across an expanse of space between my car and a speaker while loud traffic noises were steadily going by the busy street I was facing. I was by no means yelling. Being told "You don't have to yell," was shockingly rude and unnecessary. I chose to cancel my order and go somewhere else. I do not order food from fast food establishments very often, but when I do, will continue to give my business to Wendy's, only never again this particular store. There are plenty of other places to choose from where customer service is welcoming and polite. To the woman who was rude to me: My diet thanks you! As does the County St. Wendy's in the same town, who will be getting my fast food business from now on. To the manager of the Bay St. store: you have lost a customer in me, which may or may not matter to you. This is the most unfriendly Wendy's I've ever been too. The girl that took my order seemed completely unhappy and you could hear in her voice that she didn't even want to be there. Once I pull up to the first window she says nothing grabs my card takes the payment gives me the card back all this without a word and once I take my card closes the window. I get to the second window where another girl is with the manager and just opens the window no hello nothing says "here" and just hands me my drink after which I wanted to mention to the manager that it would be nice if his employees smiled. But guess what the manager almost throws the bag at me and closes the window without a word either and doesn't even ask me if I want any sauce for my nuggets.
