My wife and I stopped on the way home to just get burgers fries and frostys, we were in line at the drive through and waited about 15-20 mins for our order and when we go let home realized the burgers had nothing on them but cheese literally nothing else. This is a newer Wendy's location opening last year, and the first in Stamford. It is your standard Wendy's so you know what you're in for. The location can be a little awkward when it is busy, with cars trying to enter blocking others trying to leave, but that's less of an issue if you don't go during peak hours. Oh, and I was rear-ended in their drive-thru while waiting for my food! Thats not a knock on Wendy's, but being hit in a parked car will always come to mind when I think of this place. read more

Brand new location! There are a lot of windows, so it's very bright. They also have a fireplace, communal tables and couches in the dining area of this location and the Coca-Cola Freestyle machine. It's a smaller location though so a little tight on the inside and the drive-thru area is tight when making the turn in and around. They do have several parking spots outside as well. It's typical Wendy's food; burgers, fries, chicken, etc. All tasty! Plus this location serves breakfast. It's great to finally have a location in Stamford and near where I live too, sweet! read more

Normally, I don't give high stars for fast food places unless they really stand out. I'm so excited that there is a Wendy's in Stamford, finally!! I loathed having to make a trip to Norwalk to get one of their delicious cheeseburgers (it's a guilty pleasure, ok? Square meat tastes good even though I'm trying to go vegetarian). This place is just waiting for a case of food poisoning. I got a single cheeseburger with mayo, lettuce and tomato. The burger was actually colder than room temperature meaning the cheese didn't melt and their was no mayonnaise. The dining area had a large puddle under the drink machine that you had to stand in if you want a self-dispensed drink. In the other aisle were a discarded napkin and a straw wrapper. Not an appetizing place to eat and the burgers are just waiting for an E. Coli outbreak. read more

Just went through the drive through. The woman who provided my food was unfamiliar with the concept of customer service. I asked to add something to my chicken sandwich and she just stared at me and said it's done. When I then looked at the sandwich, the kitchen hadn't followed the order anyway. I've seen videos of how some restaurants/fast food places use "meat glue" and get their "man made" mass produced lettuce (don't believe me, Google/YouTube it). I've been getting Wendy's salads for years. Today was the first time I was able to "see through" my lettuce and every piece of chicken looked like several pieces stuck together. I have tried this Wendy's on more than 3 separate occasions over the past 12 month ... that is, 3 occasions when I actually waited (typically more that 20 minutes) in line. I have left at least three times because the wait times are so absurd. When I have stayed, the order is ALWAYS wrong. The level of frustration that you are likely to encounter (and a rate so far of 100%) is not worth the effort. Go elsewhere: another Wendy's (Greenwich location is okay), or a Chick-Fil-A ... avoid this location. read more

Please get the staff more help. The kid taking orders should not be filling orders, cleaning tables and running back to the register. 20 minutes to get your food is unacceptable. The service at Wendy's # 00012166 is horrid! Every time I've been to this location, as it's the only location within my town, the wait is excessive. I literally stood in front of the counter (no one in front of me) for 7 mins before I spoke up & was told by the manager on duty, "1 second." There are 7 staffers & no one was able to assist me in placing my order. Presently, I've been waiting an add'l 13 mins & counting for a salad & a drink. If customer service is what you're looking for, DO NOT come to this location. You've been warned. Each time I've been to this location, the cars in the drive thru are backed up almost to the st. I have seen poorly run fast food locations and this place is no exception. They just opened a couple of weeks ago. They need a leader and better trained staff. They ignored what I ordered and the line was out the door. The drive through was jammed as well. I have been to Wendy's many times and never seen such a disorganized mess.
