I've started to avoid fast food as much as possible, but obviously, as a middle class working man, I find myself eating fast food AT LEAST twice a week. I mean, it was flat out dirty, it just looked unclean, it could have been the color pattern, or the crumbs on the tables, but it would be to their advantage that they have someone at least come wipe the tables off at least every 15 minutes or so. I ordered a 5 dollar fill up, with the new Nashville Hot Chicken, with Mashed Potatoes, a Biscuit, and a Cookie. I also tried that new yellow mountain dew. (Wasn't a fan of it to be honest, but I can see why people enjoy it, it just wasn't to my liking.) Anyhow, the food was by no means great, it honestly operates the same way as a normal fast food joint, but instead of burgers and fries, they have fried chicken! It just feels weird! The food was by all means not bad, but is was not really good either. I have also went through the drive through, giving them another chance about a week later, and was upset to realize they gave me the wrong item. I ordered a plain 5 dollar fill up with Mac N Cheese instead of Mashed Potatoes. On the receipt, and rung up the same. But to my surprise, I did not get the instant and easy Mac N Cheese, instead I was forced to eat the Potatoes. So that is a point off for getting stuff wrong. The prices can get a little outrages sometimes and I don't believe the quality of the food reflects the cost too well, it needs to be marked down, because without ordering a value meal or special deal of the day, expect to spend a good chunk of money on fried chicken that would overall be way cheaper to make at home. Conclusion, If you want fried chicken and don't feel like making it, KFC is a decent place to go to, it is by far not the best, as almost any other chicken place is better, but around this area, it is the best we got when it comes to cheap and easy fried chicken. I'd go there again if I was craving it.

I ordered a chili cheese dog and a blizzard. I pull up to the window and they give me the hot dog and tell me to pull up towards the curb and they would bring my blizzard out in a few minutes. I waited about 10 minutes and a boy come to my window and asked if I had a brownie blizzard and I told him no. He then walked off. I waited probably 5-8 more minutes and I decided I was going to pull around front and go in to ask for a refund because several people behind me had gotten their ice creams and I watched inside the window and saw people inside getting theirs. Soon as a I pull around front and go to get out of my vehicle, a boy is dashing towards my vehicle with the blizzard. I stop him and say no, I want a refund and explained how long I had been waiting. He told me I would have to go inside so I did. A girl then approached the counter and asked what I wanted. I told her I wanted a refund and then explained the entire situation. She told me that they dont really do refunds but could get me something else. I said I don't want anything else I want a refund. She then says that they are just really busy (they had normal business). I told her I could get being busy but, when im waiting nearly 20 minutes for a blizzard and several cars behind me and people inside the restaurant was getting their ice creams, there was no reason I could not have gotten mine. She then tells me if she gives me a refund that she will have throw away the blizzard. So now we have a conditional refund being offered. We will give you a refund but your gonna lose the ice cream. I told her I did not care anymore that I wanted my refund so I could just get out of there. She then took the blizzard, threw it down in the trash and gave me a refund on the ice cream. I said have a good day and she just walked off. Now obviously, I am not a business owner, but how is this a sustainable model for repeat business? How did that rectify and address the issue? If you go to Dairy Queen, be expecting that if you get a wrong order or poor service, they will try and discourage you from a refund and they certainly will not address any issues or take accountability. I would not recommend going there, go elsewhere. If you want ice cream, go to the store, dont put up with that. These fast food restaurants are getting really bad and honestly we are living in a time you really dont know whats in the food anyways. So that coupled with poor customer service and attitude, I would recommend steering clear and go elsewhere. 1/10 experience.
