Wendy once had a great quality product. Service was good for fast food places. But those day are gone. We've tried both South Jordan locations and after giving many chances just incase it had been a bad day or shift..they still failed. We won't be back and you won't see our average orders of $25 any more. Fast specific's? Slow, service from kids who talk so fast and are not understandable. Burgers build dry and obviously thrown together in the bun..Chicken tough and overcooked Then last night...wait 15 minutes for my order in my car, then have to go inside to cancel it only to find my order sitting on a shelf, no cold fries and lukewarm burger in a bag. Absolute worst experience. What was meant to be a quick drive thru experience turned into 20 minutes of waiting. Had to go in and the manager stated the employee was new. Rather than owning up and fixing the issue she would rather place blame on someone new. Won't be coming back ever. read more

Terrible customer service. Wendy's is usually pretty good out of all the fast food places around town. These places have a model from corporate that they need to follow, but that wasn't the case here. Standing at the counter for what seemed like days, having to ask to be waited on. Having to ask for condiments, have to go back to the counter because the fries were cold, and soggy, didn't help when I bit into my greasy spicy chicken sandwich that gushed oil. Yuck The young kids working here just don't seem to care about giving good service and/or quality products. I get it, I've done my time working at fast food places. It's usually just a stepping stone job , but take pride in your work both in service and food quality. These traits will follow you into the real world. Usually the service here is decent, but the guy working the window tonight was struggling! He didn't know where things were on the Coca-Cola freestyle machine, and when I asked for just minute maid lemonade he gave me the Wendy's premade lemonade which was nasty and watery. I got an apple pecan salad, but they gave me ranch and onions instead of pecans and pomegranate dressing. Good thing I double checked the onions before I opened the bag because there's gluten in them. So disappointing. read more

WORST PLACE EVER! We went there Sunday and there was literally NO ONE in front of us at the drive in or inside, yet somehow it took over 15 minutes for a Jr. Cheeseburger and nuggets (not to mention we ordered through the app before we even got there! The guy working was SO rude and didn't even once acknowledge that we were sitting at the windows forever. When I finally asked what was taking so long, the guy snapped at me and said he was working by himself. I've worked at restaurants and bartended a million times in my lifetime where I could handle 7-8 tables at a time and get their order to them faster than this guy took. To top it off, he flipped me off and my husband went inside after to tell him that was not okay, especially in front of our 6 and 9 year old. My 6 year old was crying because he said he couldn't understand why the guy gave us the "loser sign". Oh, and I almost forgot to mention our order was wrong! He left out a six piece of nuggets and put onions lettuce and tomato on my daughter's burger when we specifically noted in the app to eliminate those. It's extremely obvious he doesn't care about how job. I asked to talk to the manager and he said he WAS the manager? Gosh I hope that's not true. We will be finding another Sunday tradition and taking our business elsewhere. read more

Worst service, I waited over 20 minutes for 8 nugs and a JBC. I asked to see if I could just be refunded, and the lady called the "manager" up. He threw a big fit and said that it was all fresh and that the Nugs were just pulled from the fryer and walked away. The lady up front tried to push a refund through but didn't know how to do anything. I don't feel old... when did people who work at these types of places stop saying "hello, welcome to Wendy's" instead they just stand there and stare at the floor like idiots. The prices are ridiculous for the burgers that look smaller than before. I'm going to go back to just cooking a sweet rib eye on my grill. Also, the layout of the parking lot is about the lamest example of civil engineering - designer should lose their license. Wendy's is Wendy's...but this review is more about the logistics of how this place is set up. Entering the parking lot is difficult, at best. It's a very tight turn-in and if there are any other cars around, you have to be extra cautious. Parking is also strange-the majority of the stalls are tucked back behind the drive through-so be careful if you've got little ones with you walking through the parking lot. I was excited when this location was first open-I could get my Frosty fix without having to travel far. But after a few frustrating experiences trying to navigate the parking lot, I've mostly given up and gone elsewhere. read more

First, the phone app was not working for this store. Second, after they charge me for the chocolate frosty they told me that they didn't have chocolate available. Third, the vainilla frosting was too soft, almost melted. Fourth, no spoons available to eat the food. Fifth, the cheese on the cheeseburger was not melted. Last, I got a double charge on my credit card, both are pending, but I need to keep my eyes on the transactions for a few days. read more

As others have said, this is the closest and most convenient Wendy's, which is so unfortunate. We have NEVER received our order correct. Most recently, 2 out of 4 of our burgers were missing the hamburger patty... how does that possibly happen?!? We've received other people's orders or missing fries or wrong sandwiches. So we went through the drive through and ordered our food no problem, got to the window, it took a second for someone to open the window and then told us the total, not really paying attention, on her phone. The employee took the card and then continued to scroll on her phone, not a care in the world even though the card reader wasn't reading the card. we sat there for a miiinute. No reciept was given and when we checked our bags. we were missing the nacho burger. went back through to get it and the lady at the window could not get it into her thick skull that we were missing a burger. A. BURGER. well.. she walks away and comes back with a bag, and guess freaking what. it was a fry. What the actual heck dude. We told her like three times we were missing the burger Not the fry. if you can't get a simple order correction right because you can't understand what's wrong with your customers order you should not be working the window of a fast food restaurant. The customer service sucks, the employees are lazy and the food subpar, cold, and by the time we got to eating it, not all that enjoyable to what a food expierience i'm PAYIng for is supposed to be. The vibe and just overall how interacting with the wendy's staff brought down my mood and made me not want to eat the food I had just purchased with my friend was enough to get me to write the only food review I've ever written. I'm so impressed. The young lady who was our cashier, Emily, was helping a young man in front of us who was slightly handicapped and was obviously struggling and confused. She was so kind and patient and responded to each one of his requests with a smile. Her manager was not so kind and was making insensitive comments the whole time. When there was nobody waiting in line to order Emily then went and checked on this young man and had a little conversation. Way to go Emily, if half of us did our jobs with half as much kindness and compassion the world would be a better place. Also the food was pretty good. read more

I try... I try again and again and finally have given up. Always takes forever! Twice I have had to wait over twenty minutes in line. One of those times there was only one customer ahead of me. They told us the drive up gets priority, okay I get that, but 20 minutes! That was just to order then still had to wait for the food. It is in a nice location and the restaurant itself is clean, but you should never have to wait twenty minutes to order fast food. read more

The quality of this Wendy's has been consistently good for awhile now. Everything I've ordered in the past 6 months has been correct and done right. The fries used to be hit or miss, but are now always delicious. The people now working here work incredibly hard and have been very kind. Worst Wendy's I've ever gone too. I went through the drive thru tonight and ordered the number 1. Anyways I get up to the drive thru and hand the girl my money and a few seconds later this guy comes up and rudely asks for the money and I'm like "I just gave it to that girl" and so he turns to the girl and she's like "oh yeah" all aloofness and hands the money over to the guy. I don't know what that was about... after waiting for a while at the window they hand me my meal and drink which they ended up giving me tea? But I ordered Sprite so I thought okay... As I drove away I dug into my burger cause I just got off a 12 hour shift at the hospital and the burger was cold?!? The cheese wasnt even melted and the patty wasn't warm. We dropped by knowing that every Wendy's was the same quality. WRONG!! We ordered different burgers with different toppings. After one bite I was disappointed. The top bun was dried out and the bottom was flat and felt a bit soggy. The meat was slightly burned on the corners (their burgers are square), dried out and almost warm. I asked my husband how his burger was? He had the exact complaint. It reminded me of when my mom would re-heat the left-over burgers in the microwave from last night's dinner. That evening my stomach hurt and all night too. My husband had pains that night. The people were polite. The food was served in less than 5 minutes. Could it be they prepared it earlier and reheated it when we came in? There was catsup in individual packets, sugar but no salt packets. I asked for some and they handed me some. The fries were the "end pieces" from the fryer. They were the only thing that was warm. We did not get there late but went there about 6:30 PM so the food should have been fresher. This place is pretty newly opened, so we've been patient. It takes time to get everything up to standards. However, after a few months of practice they still haven't figured it out and none of our several visits have been good. We're done cutting them slack--and probably done eating here, too. They're unforgivably slow (don't use the drive through!), the employees all have the vacant, unengaged look of kidnapping victims, and the food is just not good. I feel really bad; I told my son he had to finish the burger he was just nibbling, then after he'd actually eaten about half of it I took a bite myself and discovered it was like a salt lick. I've never tasted a saltier, nastier hamburger. The bun was so stale it tasted like cotton and it actually hurt my teeth to chew. With at least 6 other restaurants in the same shopping complex, plus everything the District offers across the street, you don't have to put up with this place. I know I won't. Complete disaster! Slowest service I have experienced. The employees are completely lost. The place is extremely dirty yet it is brand new. Plus, our order was not correct. Watched one couple receive a refund because they had waited over 20 min for their order. Watched the cashier give attitude to a customer trying to blame the long line on them because they didn't speak their order loud enough. The customer straightened the kid out though. The Del Taco next door is also new and is always clean. This place needs new management and to retrain their staff. read more

Waited for over twenty minutes for chicken nuggets and fries, pretty simple deep fried item. Somehow came out burnt and soggy. How do you even burn something and make it soggy? I've never had a good experience here, seems like this was extra terrible, if you're going here, taste your food before you drive away, apparently it's necessary, the quality standard is extremely low here. This bears repeating, even if other reviewers have noted it. This is the slowest, most disengaged Wendy's (or for that matter, other fast food outlet) that I've ever been to. It took 14 mins to get three cars through the drive through at lunch time today, and the "Manager" at the window (Rebecca) appeared unconcerned and unapologetic about the wait. Wouldnt provide a receipt until I asked for it- possibly because it has a phone number for feedback? Incompetent leadership and disengaged employees makes for an experience not worth repeating- the free market demands that this location fail. The door handles to the outside entrance were sticky and gross inside smelled like a dirty kids play area , the customer service is barely there if at all the guy working front desk would've much rather flirted with underage girls than help the other customers and then when I did get to the front desk I was rudely dismissed with " hold on I have a lot to do " but you sure weren't busy when you were flirting with those minors now were ya?
