They totally bait and switch their menu. We went during a "half price appetizer" window. We asked what apps were included, we were showed the appetizer list and told any but the triple dipper. So we ordered a bunch. When the bill came, we were charged full price for multiple. We inquired with the server, who agreed they hadn't been discounted and she took it to the manager. She returned and apologized, told us their menu falsely advertises the promo and that multiple apps aren't really included. I asked why they don't tell you that and why we were told it applied to all. She said she agreed and it was intentionally misleading and she felt bad but the manager wouldn't change the bill. Was told on the phone as we were walking out of the movies that the wait time was about 5 minutes,,, we were 4 minutes away. The last two times I've dined here have been a really good experience with good food and good service. First was for a late dinner for three, and the second was this New Year's Day for lunch with a group of 9. Both times I ordered the oriental chicken salad with the crispy chicken. I love the dressing and the almonds. Others ordered the 8 oz. steak, neighborhood burger, quesadilla burger, the southwest chicken bowl, and the boneless wings. Steak was cooked perfectly and the boneless wings with the sweet sauce were really good. The quesadilla burger was a bit salty with not a lot of flavor. Okay, I know you see me checking in to this place like my life depends on it, but hear me out - it's better than it was back in the day and I'm glad I decided to try it one day after seeing a happy hour option for appetizers ad on IG. Pretzels and cheese dip is good - every time we've ordered it they came out soft. Mozzarella sticks - who doesn't love a decent fried cheese to dip in ranch and not marinara? Entrees: Neighbourhood Burger - a burger done well exactly how I like it. No frills, just a good burger on a plate. Ribs - so sticky you will get your hands dirty and the MR. surely devoured the tender ribs happily. Four Cheese Mac and Cheese with Honey Pepper Tenders - it didn't have a lot of flavor on the pasta and the tenders were dipped in the sauce...OK at best, could have been a miss for the night. DrAnks: as a reminder, when ordering alcohol here, you must buy something to eat. I'm assuming it's a law in Utah, but we were advised we had to buy something to eat when we were sitting in the bar area. I like to try all the $5/$6 drinks of the month and see which one hits. Bahama Mama and Pina Colada are good, and I'll be back to try the ones for March. While it's a hit or miss with service being prompt over all the times I've went with 1 other person, it's better than I've had elsewhere. I do think when it's not as busy, the areas should be cleaned up quicker to avoid last minute cleanings for incoming customers and it allows time for the employees to mingle longer when everything is done and ready for the next customers. We were feeling fancy like Applebees for a date night, and ended up here for dinner. Everything about our meal and service was fine. We were greeted by the hostess and taken to a table pretty quickly. She was friendly and made small talk with us. Our server, Deb, was attentive and funny. She joked with us and made our meal even more enjoyable. My wife ordered a frozen cocktail-something Christmasy. Two straws one drink, it was great! Although the straws were really thin-a wider straw would make it easier to drink the large pieces of ice. We ordered off the "two for $30" menu-I had the salmon and my wife had a sirloin. The restaurant was super busy! I haven't seen it this busy in years! But we were able to get right in and get a table, luckily. I ordered the wonton chicken tacos as an appetizer. They are so delicious that I crave them. Mmmmmm. And for my meal I ordered the loaded nachos. They have a different name but that's basically what they are. They were really good but they could've used a little bit more ground beef in there. It wasn't until I got to the bottom half of the chips that I realize there was queso cheese in addition to the regular cheddar cheese. It would've been nice to have that all over but it was good that there was more stuff on the bottom. My husband got the grilled club sandwich. I tasted it and was pretty impressed. It tasted like a grilled cheese sandwich with some ham and bacon added. I cannot go to Applebee's without getting the pecan brownie. I call it a blonde brownie, but it has a different name. After another five minutes waiting, there was still no water. This is a great place to go waste your time and get poor service. I stopped in here because I've exhausted everything else around here for lunch. I didn't have a wait, as there were only a couple of people eating when I walked in. The waiter, Shawn, came over and took my order, but I felt he was a tad bit condescending when I asked what was on the house salad. He does know that each restaurant has their own way of making a house salad right? I ordered the 8oz Bourbon Steak (well done) with a house salad, no cheese, no crouton with ranch on the side. No, I don't want anything to drink. Well maybe a water no ice. (it came with a lemon, I don't like lemons in my water arugh) My salad came out on a nice icey cold plate. The lettuce was pretty crisp but sparce. Lots of small chunks of tomato, and cucumber. Not much else. The ranch salad dressing was like water. It hardly tasted like ranch dressing. Not a big fan of watery dressing, it didn't help the salad that's for sure. My steak finally came out, and I was shocked. It was still sizzling on the platter. I know I ordered it well done, but I didn't say burnt to a crisp! Steak was layed on top of a bed of onions with a side of red potatoes. The potatoes were plentiful, and were laced with oil and salt. They were the best part of my lunch. Shawn checked on me a couple of times, but each time he came around, I had my mouth full of food, and could only nod my head when he asked me if everything was ok. Applebee's have the credit card machine at each table that you can pay your bill from, it also has games the kids can play. I didn't want to pay by credit card so I had to wait for Shawn to come back and get my money. He asked if I needed change and I said "yes". It took a while for him to come back, which I thought was odd, since there really were only a couple of tables with actual customers. I don't think this lunch was worth $21.17 plus tip. I tried the "All you can eat" menu item. The food is their normal moderate quality food but the term of all you can eat should be more like all you can wait for. You can only order one item at a time then have to hunt down your waiter and then wait again for them to deliver a very small qty of the next item. Ordered shrimp which has way to thick breading. There were about 7 shrimp on the plate. I tracked down the waiter and ordered riblets. After about 10 min I got a plate with about 6 tiny riblets. I gave up and left as we didn't have another 10 min to wait. read more

This location is convenient. It sits on the south side of Jordan Landing, which has a lot of stores and other restaurants. Great place to stop by when you're hungry in the middle of running errands. We've had some bad experiences here during the beginning to mid of 2022. The servers were rude and we got neglected many times. There was one instance where we waited up to 15 minutes just for the bill. I think the turnover here was pretty crazy earlier this year. However, things got better since June-ish. Sonia is an incredible server. We've had her twice and she is very kind and patient. She caters to all our needs. Of course, this is Applebee's. So that means that the food is mediocre. This is not a steakhouse or a gourmet restaurant. I'm not sure why some reviewers expect the food to be 5 stars. It'll never be 5 stars at this price point. For the price you're paying, this is what you can expect. And what you get is pretty decent for what you're paying. The sizzlers were alright. One came out sizzlin' but the other didn't. I also like their Hot Cheeto wings and the donut desserts. The donuts really hit the spot with the chocolate dip. I'll definitely be coming back when I'm craving more Hot Cheeto wings! read more

Three 's is for the food it was just average for the most part--- however it is extremely rare that I order a "burger" when eating out let alone in a sit down place, but based on my servers (Shawn B) suggestion I tried the whisking Bourbon budger I decided to try it-- I wasn't to thrilled with the sauce so I removed the bun and oh wow I could really taste how fresh, hot and juicy the meat was such good thing flavor-- high quality beef for not being prepared at home. Now-- if the rating was only based on the service Shawn B. Was definitely more than 5 he was attentive and helpful to my aging parents-- he made their dining experience a pleasure instead of a challenge--he really went out of his way, including making a special sauce for all the endless fries-- my dad thought was really cool. About 10-15 minutes probably cause we came in at opening. They pricing is pricier than black bear 2 adult entrees 1 kid meal and an appetizer cost about 61$ just too note which I thought was pricey but I definitely would come back. I was hungry and Applebees oriental chicken salad wrap hits the spot so I decided this was the place for lunch. I noticed they got some new things on their menu, one of them being some cheese curds. I am a big fan of cheese curds if they are done right so I definitely wanted to give them a go. I also tried to get the special blue Mountain Dew they had but they were out of it. The cheese curds were a bit too greasy for my liking. They came with ranch, which was quality ranch. Definitely a dill based ranch but I found it to be perfect consistency and good taste. It came with another sauce too that was just like an orange mayo. It tasted okay but definitely wasn't my favorite. Lastly, I got my oriental chicken salad wrap with crispy chicken. It was super awesome as normal! I absolutely LOVE that sauce that comes with it. It is the best part!! I also love the rice noodles that come with the wrap as they add great texture. Her son's chicken fingers were super dry, she ordered the brisket tacos which had no flavor at all, and I ordered the 4 cheese mac & cheese with chicken which was brought out to me with no chicken, so the waitress had to bring the chicken out to me on a separate plate. I took a bite and it seriously tasted like plastic wrap was melted all over. Gross texture, and a weird flavor. Definitely not worth a 30 minute wait or $15. My friend and I told our waitress how bad the food was and asked if anyone else had complained tonight. She said she'd get a manager to come over and talk to us. About 15 minutes later one finally came over and we told her how bad everything was. She apologized and offered to give us half off which was nice but what I ate, the few bites I had were not worth the $7 I paid.
