I often ask for them to be drained and sometimes I can tell they are annoyed. Not here. The girl took time to make sure the items were drained. What bothered me most was the employee's attitude toward customers who were simply trying to find out the status of their orders. I overheard her making rude comments behind a customer's back, including saying that the customer was "pissing her off." Regardless of how busy or frustrating a shift may be, customers should not be spoken about that way, especially within earshot. Technical problems happen, and delays happen. What matters is how employees communicate and handle those situations. A simple explanation such as, "Our printer is having an issue with the names, but we're working through the orders as quickly as possible," would have made a significant difference. I hope management addresses this situation and provides better training on customer communication and professionalism, particularly when there are problems with the online ordering system. PS.
