Your basic fast food honestly. First though your chick wraps, completely sloppy and too much open space like tighten up the wrap or else the person is going to be eating just bread. The chicken is nice and crispy though. The cheese curds are basic along with the onion rings. The milkshakes are mmm no bueno though and give us a milkshake straw NOT a normal straw. My sister got the banana pudding shake and she likes the chunks it has so there's that. Just ok for me over all. read more

We stopped here 2x in the last week, while heading to and from a college tour. Everything went great! We call ahead to give them a heads up that a charter bus was stopping by and THEY.WERE.READY!!!!! By the time, the last person order, 75% of the group was served and seated. The staff was amazing. The food was delicious. The place was clean and well cared for. I was out and about working today in the area and thought I would try out " Cook Out" so via the drive thru J chose a Hot Dog with chili, slaw, mustard and onion...they call it the Cook Out Way!!!! I call it the ONLY WAY.... I also got a large fountain soda. The staff was very friendly, mannerly and polite also made suggestions and attempts to upsell Very nice work dude!!!! The food was good, close and in top 5 of my Hot Dog choices. The weiner was very good, a little scorched like it should be if cooking out....I liked that and had good flavor and taste. Chili was All-right,nothing to slap your momma over. Bun was warm and toasty...another thumbs up..onions okay and slaw was uh okay again nothing spectacular but they gave my weiner a bath in mustard.....way way way too much mustard... Mustard is easy to add more of with a packet for the customer but can't be taken off by the customer if too much....remember less is best!!!! I would go back again and recommend to others!!! Just no mustard on my dog next time, the side pleases me better read more

On an 8 day vacation, had to eat twice at Cook Out. This one in Charleston was excellent. Order was filled very fast, and again, lots of items were delivered to us 100% correctly. Everyone upgraded to shakes, and they were terrific. Also, this might have been one of the best orders of fried okra that I've ever had. Being from Wisconsin, my okra experience is limited. My philosophy at Cook Out is to always try a new menu item that I never have before, and here I went with the Walkin' Taco. Can you make spooning in some random taco ingredients into a bag of Doritos an experience? Cook Out can! Went through drive, food is great, no complaints with that, portions a bit small, and I wish that they gave you bags with it instead of having to carry like two boxes with nothing. Absolutely the most disgusting hot dog I've ever but into! I threw it away! The chili tastes like canned chili. They need to up their game! Next trip I tried a cheeseburger- it was ok. So I'm not from this area but cookout is now my favorite fast food restaurant, all the staff was very friendly but not in a fake way, they were genuinely nice, I didn't know what cheerwine was and I asked about it and the lady gave me a free sample. To be honest the onion rings and cheese curds were not the best but what do you expect from a fast food restaurant they were still good though however, I got a cheeseburger and it is the best fast food burger I've ever had! The ambiance is also very nice it was very peaceful with a nice view of the landscape very good for thinking while you eat but it is also a nice place for a larger group to sit around and talk. Me personally I've never wrote a review or really had anything good to say about a fast food restaurant in my life as a matter of fact I downloaded yelp just to write this review you don't understand how good this restaurant was now don't get me wrong don't go way out of your way to eat here but if your hungry and your within a reasonable distance I would %1000 recommend this restaurant if there was a 10 out of 5 rating I would do it I just feel convicted to write this review I truly feel as if this restaurant has opened my eyes to a new golden standard of fast food restaurant and set the bar so high for all other restaurants to come! read more
