Your basic fast food honestly. First though your chick wraps, completely sloppy and too much open space like tighten up the wrap or else the person is going to be eating just bread. The chicken is nice and crispy though. The cheese curds are basic along with the onion rings. The milkshakes are mmm no bueno though and give us a milkshake straw NOT a normal straw. My sister got the banana pudding shake and she likes the chunks it has so there's that. Just ok for me over all. read more

Cook Out - Onion Rings & Cheese Curds - Burgers Near Me - Charleston, West Virginia

We had the Cook Out Style hot dogs, Hamburger, Chicken sandwich, fries and cheese curds. Every thing was good and freshly made.

Fast, cheap, and the kids love it! You can't go wrong when you can feed multiple hungry teens without breaking the bank. I really enjoy the BBQ sandwich because it is perfectly spicy! The drive thru is always quick and efficient! read more

We stopped here 2x in the last week, while heading to and from a college tour. Everything went great! We call ahead to give them a heads up that a charter bus was stopping by and THEY.WERE.READY!!!!! By the time, the last person order, 75% of the group was served and seated. The staff was amazing. The food was delicious. The place was clean and well cared for. The icing on the cake was that all the kids fell asleep when back on the bus.... Both times! Thank you!!! read more

The food was good, the dbl cheeseburger was really good. They were open late, there was a line around the building but it went super fast. The chicken sandwich & chicken wrap were good too- the best is the price, good food at a great price! read more

I was out and about working today in the area and thought I would try out " Cook Out" so via the drive thru J chose a Hot Dog with chili, slaw, mustard and onion...they call it the Cook Out Way!!!! I call it the ONLY WAY.... I also got a large fountain soda. The staff was very friendly, mannerly and polite also made suggestions and attempts to upsell Very nice work dude!!!! The food was good, close and in top 5 of my Hot Dog choices. The weiner was very good, a little scorched like it should be if cooking out....I liked that and had good flavor and taste. Chili was All-right,nothing to slap your momma over. Bun was warm and toasty...another thumbs up..onions okay and slaw was uh okay again nothing spectacular but they gave my weiner a bath in mustard.....way way way too much mustard... Mustard is easy to add more of with a packet for the customer but can't be taken off by the customer if too much....remember less is best!!!! I would go back again and recommend to others!!! Just no mustard on my dog next time, the side pleases me better read more

On an 8 day vacation, had to eat twice at Cook Out. This one in Charleston was excellent. Order was filled very fast, and again, lots of items were delivered to us 100% correctly. Everyone upgraded to shakes, and they were terrific. Also, this might have been one of the best orders of fried okra that I've ever had. Being from Wisconsin, my okra experience is limited. My philosophy at Cook Out is to always try a new menu item that I never have before, and here I went with the Walkin' Taco. Can you make spooning in some random taco ingredients into a bag of Doritos an experience? Cook Out can! It was great, also, the hush puppies never disappoint. 5 stars, workers of Cook Out! read more

Don't order big double, it's 2 this hamburger patties. The 1/4 lb burger is on big patty. read more

Cook Out - 1/4 lb Hamburger "Cheddar Style". Cheese, Mayo, bacon, and tons of grilled onions. Side of onion rings, hush puppies, and a coke float. - Burgers Near Me - Charleston, West Virginia

Went through drive, food is great, no complaints with that, portions a bit small, and I wish that they gave you bags with it instead of having to carry like two boxes with nothing. They're super nice though, and it's like a policy that their manager posted, so I know it's not their fault. Great place to go for fast food! read more

Do you remember when your late uncle would host a cookout every year? The flavor of charcoal burgers? Well, that's what you get here! Great flame grilled burgers, hand cut fries, and amazing milkshakes. read more

I'll start by saying I've been here 3 times now. I've tried something different each time and everything is delicious! The service is fast and very friendly. My latest visit was on 6/9/20 and I'd just like to send a word of gratitude to Lance that was on drive-thru! You are a kind and polite human being! Thank you! I'd also like to say this place really has a great staff. Always incredibly patient and polite! Y'all have my support and I'll recommend you to all my people read more

The best fast food on the planet. Enough said, this place is the largest diamond in the rough of fast food America. They have it all and they certainly don't disappoint. Real flavor and Chargrilled. I do suggest better French Fries 8.5/10. read more

Wow. How big a difference between Grand Opening and now. Long lines, barely passable burger. Medium drink that is 95% ice. At least the Hush Puppies are still good. read more

Trust me... try their White Cheddar Cheese Bites with the Cookout Sauce. I'd give 6 stars if that was all I was rating. Only reason 4 stars is their milkshakes are way too thick - you can't use a straw read more

Absolutely the most disgusting hot dog I've ever but into! I threw it away! The chili tastes like canned chili. They need to up their game! Next trip I tried a cheeseburger- it was ok. I love their corn dogs! They have crunch and taste! Milk shakes are so good I'll keep going there! My granddaughter had the watermelon and loved it- actual pieces of watermelon. Very good! read more

The shake was good as always. But they always mess up my sandwich, never put the topping on I ask for. And no ketchup for fries

So I'm not from this area but cookout is now my favorite fast food restaurant, all the staff was very friendly but not in a fake way, they were genuinely nice, I didn't know what cheerwine was and I asked about it and the lady gave me a free sample. To be honest the onion rings and cheese curds were not the best but what do you expect from a fast food restaurant they were still good though however, I got a cheeseburger and it is the best fast food burger I've ever had! The ambiance is also very nice it was very peaceful with a nice view of the landscape very good for thinking while you eat but it is also a nice place for a larger group to sit around and talk. Me personally I've never wrote a review or really had anything good to say about a fast food restaurant in my life as a matter of fact I downloaded yelp just to write this review you don't understand how good this restaurant was now don't get me wrong don't go way out of your way to eat here but if your hungry and your within a reasonable distance I would %1000 recommend this restaurant if there was a 10 out of 5 rating I would do it I just feel convicted to write this review I truly feel as if this restaurant has opened my eyes to a new golden standard of fast food restaurant and set the bar so high for all other restaurants to come! read more
