I hadn't been to Del Taco since around 2008, back when I was living in Albuquerque. It tasted the…read moresame as it did back then. Mmm! I ordered the number 1 combo, which included two tacos, fries and a drink. I included some of their hot sauce, which wasn't hot at all. The tacos were made of ground beef, lettuce, tomatoes and grated cheese. Del Taco is a good place to go if you need to eat something quick. The food was made to order so it tasted fresh. It's not authentic Mexican food but it still tastes good. I wanted to try a shake or churro but didn't. I got full from my meal. The staff was nice and friendly. It could've been a little bit cleaner but it wasn't anything unbearable. I didn't go into the restroom. There was a TV on the wall. When you place your order, they call your name when your order is ready. You can refill your drink too. Since we don't have a Del Taco in El Paso, I'd definitely come back to this one or another one.

Stopped into the Silver City McDonald's for my Egg McMuffin breakfast. The place was exceptionally…read morebusy, but orders were coming out pretty quickly. I typically judge McDonald's by several factors that include the service, the cleanliness, the quality of the food, and just the overall atmosphere. This location was fairly clean at the soda fountain, but tables needed to be wiped down, and bathrooms had not been inspected all morning and paper towels were empty. There were some broken chairs in the restaurant that needed a little attention too. As for the service, it was very good, very pleasant, and everybody was hopping. the quality of food was what I would expect at McDonald's and the overall atmosphere of the restaurant was good. The parking lot is a little tight and I expect that this location, being the only one in the area, gets very busy at meal times. Focus on the few maintenance issues and cleanliness of the restaurant, and I would expect that this could easily be a four-star location.

But the thing that disturbes me is when we went to pick it up my father went inside and got the uter most rude customer service by a young lady behind the counter. When he went to say something she laughed in his face. Then a young man came out when he was trying to leave to try to rectify the situation which was to no or little avail. Something needs to be done about her or your going to loose business not cause your food is terrible but because your customer service is piss poor.

Please note that if you try to do mobile ordering and accidently pick the other location you will not get a refund, per a note on the app. My husband, our little girl dog and I decide to stop by this location before leaving Silver City since it was close by the Airbnb that we stayed in. We arrived on a Thursday morning around 9 am because that particular day, corn dogs were only $0.50 (if ordered through the mobile app). It being pretty cheap, we decided to get a few so we could have one for breakfast and then maybe as a snack on our road trip. I ended up purchasing: Corn Dog, $0.50, prior to tax for special promotional price via app- Normally a corn dog cost $1.49, prior to tax, which is not a bad price. I ordered 4 of these. They were warm when we both had one that morning. The other corn dogs we had still tasted just fine later on that day. These corn dogs are a bit oily, which is to be expected, and so I blotted them with the napkins that we got from the server who brought out our order. I like the corn breading around the corn dog and think these are pretty tasty (not good for you though). Soft Pretzel Twist, $1.99 prior to tax- I ordered two of these. My husband and I both like their soft pretzels and think they are a fair price for the size. I just wished there was an option to order their soft pretzel twists without butter brushed on. I like that these pretzels came nice and warm when we go them. ----------------------------- (Total= $6.46 after tax + special promotional price) The employee who brought out our order to our car was very friendly and sweet. She gave us some condiments like mustard and dipping sauce. But as she grabbed them from her apron pocket, she noticed they were dirty with sauce on it. She told us she thinks one of the packets might have broke open and made the mess. She tried to give us the ones that did not have any sauce on it and also gave us a whole bunch of napkins to clean up. She apologized and said she could get us more sauces but we said we were fine and were on our way. My husband, our little girl dog and I enjoyed our food items and are happy with our experience overall. But do want to mention that if you drive a large truck, it may be hard to pull into one of the stalls and see the screen. It may also be a challenge pulling out of one of the stalls and may want to drive to the other side where there is only one side of stalls to pull into instead of 2 so at least you don't have cars that could make it more difficult pulling out later.
