Thin crispy wood fired style pizza. I've been here 3 times now. Have tried a couple different topping combinations but have settled on the cheese. Get it fresh out of the oven for best result. The Popeye pizza, while looked & smelled amazing, I found it to be an overall disappoint. It was bland yet bitter due to the excessive amount of raw garlic peppered all over. The pizza lacked salt & the crust was rubbery & tough (in their defense it's currently monsoon season & humidity can really affect the dough quality). Ordered rhe 14-inch Hawaii Five 0 and 6 garlic knots with marinara sauce. It was delicious. The pizza crust was so good. We walked over from The Murray Hotel -- less than a mile. We were in the plaza and someone mentioned to us that they sell by the slice. I will say that it's somewhat pricey. $9 for two slices and $2.50 for a can of soda. However, the Pizza itself is pretty good. The crust was crispy and thin. Will definitely come back to try another flavor soon. read more

We've traveled all over and this is the top of the line for pizza. The dough is absolutely perfect. Toppings are flavorful and fresh. This time we tried the garlic knots and cinnamon knots and they were perfect. One last review as we don't plan on ordering Forrest's pizza anymore. This last time we ordered our usual, and asked (and paid for) double mushrooms. We were given a time to pick it up and when we got there, the pizza had evidently been sitting for some time. The pizza was cold and there was a meager amount of mushrooms, yet again. It was obvious they forgot one ingredient because the scant pieces were falling off, obviously thrown on after the pie was baked. We paid $38 for this, including a few bucks for the staff. But it's like pulling teeth to get these guys to throw on double mushrooms -- we're not requesting truffles, people! Thanks but no thanks; we're done. read more

It's not called "Forrest's pizza" anymore. It's like the hub or something. If you don't know it's there, you won't see it. It's in front of the ice cream spot. I had asked the girl at the front if they had any pepperoni coming out and she said not for at least 15 minutes because It is shift change and she needs to count her change. I just said ok and got a cheese slice. It was super good. When they put it in the oven the crust gets a nice crisp to it. If I lived in this area I'd come here often. read more

Lovely location and good food. My kid was very happy with the cheese pizza. The garlic knots are totally worth it. I do wish they didn't have 5 city trash cans right outside the door where you sit and eat. The wait was 45 minutes and when we came back at our given time, the pizza was cold. The pizza is fantastic, the older man at the counter is like an evil Tommy Chong. He is extremely rude. They lose a star for customer service and lose a star for customer experience. It takes a minimum of one hour, but usually two hours for them to make a whole pizza for you. If you plan on ordering, call before 4 pm, they regularly run out of pizza, so order early. I will not buy from them when grumpy gus is working. The pizza is awesome, the experience leaves a lot to be desired. read more

Pizza is good. I think the best part is the crust. Pretty pricey for the amount of cheese and ingredients. A lot of people have given them a 4+ rating, but I lived in San Diego CA and if you have ever tried Filippi's pizza grotto, it's to die for and prices aren't this high and you get a super cheesy and a good amount of ingredients. read more
