Great find in Silver City. The shrimp and mango ceviche was flavorful. Looking forward to trying sandwiches next time

Sat out in the back patio, which was quieter. Only thing you need to know when sitting out back is that it is also the smoking section, and there were also a couple of dogs but, it wasn't too bad. They have their own distilled spirits. I had a gin and tonic and it was good. My husband and I both had the Southwest Rueben and the sandwich was different, in that they added onion and chiles. It was delicious, maybe the best Reuben I've ever had! The meat was succulent and there was plenty of cheese to hold it together. I enjoyed the Cajun fries. Perfectly seasoned and not too spicy or salty. The hubby had onion rings that were crispy and delicious. I highly recommend a visit to the Toad for lunch. I would go back and try some of the other menu items as well.

I asked about the salmon plate and she told me exactly what was listed on the menu. When I said she wasn't selling it very well, she responded "I didn't know what you expect from me?" So I decided to try another restaurant. My card has been on the counter while I thumbed this whole review and she hasn't picked it. And hasn't smiled to anyone.... Clearly having a bad day...I hope things get better for her It's a pity because it looks like s great venue.

The lobby area was warm and inviting and the counter service was excellent. Our food (Breakfast Burrito and Raspberry/Almond Scone) was delivered soon after we found a table on the back patio (there is no indoor seating) and settled in. The burrito and scone were both very good and we enjoyed the quiet atmosphere on the patio. From beginning to end, we enjoyed the al fresco experience.

The scrambled eggs and melted pepper jack on the ciabatta rolls were good-juicy sausage, green chili and a bacon jam - but the bottom bread slices were totally soggy so I'm not sure how they'd fix that. The potatoes were cooked perfectly but not really seasoned. I went back in to grab a picture of the menu board (mostly egg dishes, salads, and oatmeal options) and ended up getting a coffeecake muffin to go for another $4 with tax, which ended up being the highlight of the meal! Super moist buttery poundcake with cinnamon swirled in and streusel on top. Epic! I also hear they have lunch items like a tray of smoked and roasted chicken that walked by our table (yum yum) and ceviche(!) I enjoyed the patio and music as well, though of course being outside you may deal with flies (I did but my partner did not). Really nice people working / walking around outside to help bring needed things like ketchup. Overall I'll go back to try some more of the baked goods (their scones looked delicious too) and that smoked chicken.

Dude, where's the decent food you can usually expect from a Denny's? Sure, it's not anything fancy,…read morebut it is usually dependably consistent. They were not even close here. I was staying at the hotel next door on a five day motorcycle tour through the area, so it was really convenient and I thought I had scored when I found it in the same parking lot. Boy was I ever mistaken. I was seated quickly enough the two times I went there, and the waitress was friendly and attentive the first visit I made. The hash brown were a complete travesty however, brown and slathered in grease so badly they were soggy. They were cold and looked like they had been scrapped off the bottom of my shoe. I seriously wondered if the cook was screwing with me. When he wasn't insulting me with his cooking he spent the entire time at the counter flirting with my waitress, trying to convince her to leave her boyfriend and shack up with him. It was an interesting conversation to eavesdrop on, but not appropriate on any level as I really didn't need to hear about how good he was in bed. I had also switched my order to the Grand Slam because I didn't want the Super Bird as they were out of tomatoes. I decided to give it a second try a few days later, and the food was much better. Unfortunately I had to listen to a waitress ripping apart customers for not tipping her enough. This conversation between her and co-worker took place loudly across the entire restaurant. It was so disrespectful that it made ME want to tip her badly! I get being upset about a tip, but you have that conversation in private, not across the entire restaurant as it comes across as trying to shame current customers into tipping better. I did not go back a third time and will skip this joint the next time I am in town, despite how convenient it is.
