First off, be aware that this place is drive through only, which makes it a tad tricky when you're on a motorcycle. Never fear, they double bagged the burritos for me :-) and I had saddle bags on my bike. Don't let the sketchy look of the building scare you off either. They are super friendly. The reviews on this place were spot on. I was super hungry, and so went overboard and ordered two burritos. Boy did I ever over-serve myself. Totally worth it, even if I couldn't finish the second burrito. The first one was a pork chili verde burrito, which had huge tender chunks of pork in it, with a great flavor from the sauce. The second burro I had was a chicken fajita experience like no other, with slices of bell peppers and onions galore. I'll most certainly keep this place in mind the next time I swing through Silver City. Totally worth it! read more

Don Juan's Burrito's - Pork chili verde. - Mexican Near Me - Silver City, New Mexico

Food was so bad we had to throw it out. Employees are more interested in heckling the homeless. Owner says the homeless frequent her parking lot for masturbatory purposes. GROSS! Customer service was just an insult and name calling when I mentioned it to the owner, Ruth Seawolf. AVOID!! read more

Quick service, but the food was mediocre at best and overpriced. I just can't recommend it. It's just a little trailer, and they want 10 bucks for a bean and cheese burrito. read more

I've been here twice on my travels from NY to NM and I made sure to come back a few years later, I was still thinking about the epic burrito I had on my prior visit. This is a burrito stand and everything is made fresh and they're just so good. And big! I had mine for lunch and dinner. Get avocado and green chile on your burrito, it's so good. Their house hot sauce is also super tasty. The staff is friendly too. You can't go wrong here. I will visit every time I'm in the area. read more

Used to be great, now they suck. Mess up orders, charge for 2 burritos and only give one. Go out of business.

This is drive-thru only - often there's a line and, since the driveway only has a capacity for 2-3 vehicles, you may have to wait on the adjacent Corbin Street. It's worth the wait. DJB is our favorite burrito place in Silver City (and other venues are good too). DJB has both breakfast and lunch burritos and you can customize as desired. It's very affordable ($6-7 per person) and you save a little if you pay with cash. read more

Don Juan's Burrito's - The menu - Mexican Near Me - Silver City, New Mexico

These are some amazing quality burritos. The chiles were a stand out, as that is what New Mexico is known for; however, the sauce, meats, and pico de Gallo were amazing as well. I missed having an amazing burrito. These guys delivered and their service is amazing. They cook it for you while asking your input while making it. I loved it. read more

Drive Thru So never had; now always have: Chili Relleno with beans cheese Chorizo with Red Chili potatoes Still working my way down this drive thru but we are regulars and I'd love the food and freshness of what they give us each time. We routinely buy Don Juan burritos as they are delicious and very filling. The past two visits have been less than ideal, though. Recently, we stopped on our way to Arizona to get our usual vegetarian burritos. We were well on the road by the time we unwrapped them and they contained some kind of pork! Not cool ... This morning I returned for two breakfast burritos and the lady at the first window was real sweet. At the second window, the young man held out the bag to me, no word of thanks or conversation at all. I said "thanks" and left but I feel that the staff there should be a little more personable in light of rising prices. read more

Don Juan's is so tasty!!! I'm not a huge fan of their red salsa on the side because it's a lil thick for me, but their burritos are so yummy and filling, they taste extremely home made and they were fast when I went! read more

The service was excellent even in Christmas Eve they went up and beyond to serve me today because normally they don't make anything on the menu but they made two great burritos a both chunky one with red and the other with green sauce. Super people. read more

Quick drive-through, pick up of locally made Mexican fare. Reasonably priced. Most good.

Stopped in for Friday fish tacos which were good. The fish was tasty but a bit over cooked. The cabbage slaw filling was excellent. Price was ok $5 Fir 2 tacos. read more

Pretty close to perfection. 99 times out of 100, we grab up too many burritos here with the following only: Potato, green chile, egg, and cheese. The green chile is like no other, a sweet slow burn that lingers. I wish I could figure out how to do that homemade. Maybe I need to get a job here to learn the secret. They just re-opened after remodeling. I went there late in the afternoon and they told me they were out of anything breakfasty. After pouting, I decided to just try a chicken burrito, which was basic, but still had that incomparable Don Juan slow chile burn. It's not expensive. The only bad thing I can think of is that the drive-through is really partly made of a through street, but they keep things moving and soon you will be in the safety of the actual dirveway, and soon after that you will be parked on a side street wolfing your purchased treasure in culinary heaven. I hope I die before Don Juan's does, though of course at least a few more decades would be nice for us both. read more

I was seduced by the heady aromas as I drove past Don Juan's Burritos. I stole a flirtatious glance and noted the many courtiers lining the drive and street, vying for a taste of Don Juan's Burritos. Doing my best snowbird imitation, I pulled a hasty U-turn and joined the lascivious lineup yearning to fulfill the desire awakened by the luscious scents wafting from the tiny windows of the canary yellow hut. Alas, my interaction with Don Juan was far too brief but I did come away with a juicy burrito bursting with hot chorizo, red chili, egg, cheese and potato. I was sated well into the day by the burrito and will surely call upon Don Juan again should I pass through Silver City. read more

Don Juan's Burrito's - Mexican Near Me - Silver City, New Mexico

Service is good, location odd, traffic to order gets back up on to a side street. The staff is always friendly. The taste is very bland for the chunky green Chile, use to be good real good, seasoned just right and just enough heat with the green Chile. , but now it almost seems like they boil the meat., with no seasoning, The Pico de gallo, bland no heat at all. Prices have gone up a lot. Over $5.00 now for a burrito. read more

I love this place which is why they have been around Silver City a while. My husband and I visit Silver City 4 times a year and always make sure we grab coffee, Machaca Burrito's, and a Chai Tea. There burritos have delicious soft roast beef, cheddar, potatoes, and spicy green chili. We eat all over the state of New Mexico and this is hands down the best around. It is worth the tiny wait and you will not be disappointed!!! read more

Excellent burritos!!! Yummy & delicious! I love their variety of burritos and I have tried the majority on the menu. They are all good!

After going back three times, once for breakfast and twice for dinner, this addicting little burrito joint has earned back one of the stars my last review took. Upon my first return, everything was great - except for my once favorite Chile Relleno burrito. Yet again, the chile was chewy and tough, and I had to eat around it until I could remove it from the remainder of my burrito. My other burrito was great; it was the Combination with green, and so tasty. If the relleno burrito hadn't been a repeat of the one prior to it, both stars would have been added back on to this review. Since that visit was almost perfect, we decided to try their breakfast burritos. We were SO PLEASED with that visit, as everything was delicious and made exactly right. I had the steak, egg, green chile, and cheese breakfast burrito; I asked for them to add potato, and it was THE PERFECT morning meal. I could not have enjoyed it more! Our most recent visit was for two Combination burritos, one with red and one with green. Both were so yummy, and made perfectly. They hit the spot, for sure! I reckon I'll be back for more breakfast burritos soon... read more

When ever my husband and I go back to Silver City, NM we HAVE to have breakfast here!! The food is pure Mexican food. The customer service is excellent. Came here for the weekend from Tucson which I consider the Mecca of Mexican food and I have lived many places in the southwest. Don Juan's was recommended by our Airbnb host. It is ok at best. I was really excited about the quality of the pork burrito. Beautiful cubes of pork in and oh so tasty sauce. Man I like this place and I will be stopping here on every trip to Silver City.
