The wrap was flavorful, and had a spicy kick to it, almost a smidge too much for me. After having it, I would have liked to have seen some greens in the wrap, like spinach. Also note, you have to ask for wraps to be cut in half, not something they offer, and not something I was made aware of. The wrap does start to fall apart as you eat it. Service was quick, as they had plenty of people working and helping customers through the line. Overall a solid option for airport food.

I have to say, Beecher's Handmade Cheese in the airport is overrated. For a place that gets so much…read morehype, our visit was a disappointment. The food fell short across the board: Tomato Soup: It was way too sour, lacking any of the rich, balanced flavor you want in a classic tomato soup. Mac & Cheese: While they call it the "World's Best," it was just way too cheesy to the point of being overwhelming. Instead of being creamy and balanced, it felt heavy. To make matters worse, the guy serving us really wasn't very friendly, which only added to the subpar experience. Between the letdown dishes and the service, it's definitely not worth the airport premium. And it's the airport and the tables were filthy.

After seating ourselves and being greeted by a server (unfortunately I did not capture her name), we both opted for the fish and chips. I can't recollect a time when I had a bad experience with a fish and chips order, so I was optimistic that we were in for a treat. Less than 15 minutes later, two large plates consisting of four fish planks and a healthy serving of fries were being delivered to our table. Biting into the fries I thought, "these are hot, but taste like nothing." To obtain some form of flavor, I had to douse them in ketchup. Hoping that the same did not apply to the fish, I took a bite of one of the planks...no flavor as well. To give it some form of flavor, I had to saturate it in vinegar and use a healthy serving of tarter sauce. I understand that some restaurants are hesitant to pre-season food due to various preferences and allergies. However, I have never consumed food that tasted like what I would imagine the flavor of paper would be. The customer service was good...but if this was an indication of how their other meals taste, I can't honestly say that I could make a return visit.

Since I work in the seafood industry, I know portion specifications aren't arbitrary. Restaurants buy boxes of fish that are a specific size, so whatever size they're using should be consistent in spec. So I called to ask how many ounces make up a piece of cod, hoping they'd make it right. They didn't. These are genuinely nice people, and that's part of why I keep coming back.
