But don't let that fool you. The BBQ is gold inside. I've had the Brisket and I think I'm back in Texas. The Pulled Pork is so good and Smokey with just the right amount of bark. And if you like smoked chicken, either get the 1/2 or quarter chicken plate or add on 5 smoked wings. They are some of the best I've had. Their sides are all made in house, and I prefer the Brunswick stew. If you get a plate you get two sides and I'll typically try to talk them into the homemade banana pudding as my second side. Their sauces are good but unique in that they have a mustard base or vinegar base. I like them but that may different for you.... But trust me their smoke is so good you really don't even need sauce. And to me that is a sign of FANTASTIC BBQ! The staff is friendly and willing to help you with the menu as well as it's a little confusing when you first stop in because it's all hand written on the wall. Worth the stop and you'll be happy you did!!

This location had vinyl booths and vintage vinyl stools; kind of minimal decor; but not bad for a truck stop. Overall the food was cooked quickly and to order.....it made us feel nostalgic for when Fuddrucker's was all over our home state of Florida.

If you haven't been to this chain before the customer tops their own burger from the condiment bar of many toppings. My requested Small burger combo with Pepper Jack cheese was very good. It was messy, the bun toasted, the skin-on wedge fries were hot and seasoned. I will return!

Meanwhile, that same employee proceeded to run orders out to multiple other cars while we stood there waiting. Completely inconsistent and frustrating. It gets worse--another customer told us this location routinely puts mobile orders at the bottom of the list. If that's true, then what's the point of ordering ahead? The manager on duty, Ebony Davis, was completely dismissive. No apology, no effort to fix the situation--just attitude. It honestly felt like she didn't care at all and was daring us to complain. The overall environment was uncomfortable and unprofessional. One employee even seemed afraid to provide the manager's name when asked, which says a lot about how this place is being run. Bottom line: slow service, cold food, poor management, and zero accountability. This location seriously needs new leadership.
