You would think after years of bad reviews of this location, corporate or management would do something. I guess going broke is their business model. I went in with my mom and ordered the simplest thing. 2 number 1's medium. I got a large cup, mom got a medium. Didn't get a receipt. Had to do the math in my head to tell the cashier she was wrong, and she copped attitude with me while the cooks and drive thru person were flirting and tickling her while she was laughing at the top of her lungs and playfully slapping them, then totally ignoring me. I also was wondering what was supposed to be in the case next to the register. Cookies? Toys for kids? I had no idea because they were just empty. Went over to fill our drinks, and 1 machine was down, and the other had exactly 2 selections of beverages that were not "NOT AVAILABLE". On the counter in between the machines, where there are supposed to be napkins, cup lids, straws, and ketchup. NOTHING. Not a single thing except for two dirty upside down trays. They called our order and one was correct, the other, instead of a burger, was a chicken sandwich with bacon on it. I went to the counter to tell them they got the order wrong and NO ONE was in sight. I had to call out to the back, and when the cashier came back, I explained what the problem was, and she went through a pile of receipts next to the register and said, "That's what you ordered." I said "that's not what I ordered, I ordered two number 1's but you didn't give me a receipt so I can't see what you rang up." She then said in a voice with serious attitude, "well that's what you told me!" and grabbed the wrong order and walked away. Two minutes later she came back and just flung the bag with the burger on the counter and walked away to gossip with her fellow employees. I went back to the table and ate with my mom, but with the commotion and yelling and laughing and screaming from the kitchen, I couldn't even have a conversation with my mom it was so loud. Not to mention the amount of flies buzzing around this dining room. At least 4-5 kept landing on our table. DISGUSTING. This was a Saturday afternoon, and the place was DEAD. Plenty of time to stop the yapping, get the order straight, and fill the damn napkins, cup lids, and ketchup. I'm emailing corporate because this place deserves to be dead on a Saturday afternoon. If this location is franchised, the owner should be forced out by corporate, and a new owner put in place. If not that, they should just shut it down. Total embarrassment. read more

All in all this is a pretty good Wendy's restaurant. The food that I've gotten there has always been good. The fries are hot and the hamburgers are fresh. I usually tell them to leave one or more of the hamburger toppings off of my sandwich and I always receive the hamburgers that I order there exactly the way I order them. I usually go with the meal combos that they have there and the amount of food you get for the price makes it a pretty good value for the money. The dining room has plenty of seating and the atmosphere in the dining area is always comfortable, never too cold or too hot. The employees working behind the counter seem pretty efficient and they are always pretty knowledgeable about current promotions and specials that are going on. They are very on top of things and they do their jobs well. The parking lot is a good size so parking is never a problem. I'd recommend this location to others. read more

This is the worst Wendy's ever, it says they close at 2am and for weeks now I been there past 10pm they are closed. Last Saturday I was there little before 10pm and they were closed, the next day I happen to order some food and asked them what time are they open till, the person in the windows said 2am. And he is not a manager and wouldn't know why they were closing so early for the past few weeks. Also a few weeks ago they were out of fries, cool it happens but I have placed my order online on my lunch break and went to pick up my food. When I got there they asked me if I still wanted my order since they are out of fries and I said yes to whatever they have from my order, they gave me the rest of the food but have never removed the charger for my fries. So unprofessional, you are out of something and won't even remove it from my bill? The same week I was there to get food a few different times, different days and they were out of fries, for at least a week. Around the same time they were out of Coca Cola fountain drink. It is always something wrong with this location. A bunch of kids who are unprofessional work there as well. I want to know what is the manager doing ? Writing my comment it looks like I eat there a bit too often, but that , McDonald's or Popeyes are the only food stores I can get food quickly on my lunch break. Don't care about covid or anything this restaurant in randolph, ma consistently sucks. Very rarely do they get orders right. The customer service is brutally rude. Management is a hot mess. I have been here in the past and I get the same behavior. The lady was sassy and rude when I asked for 3 honey mustards I got one. When I walked up and asked for 2 more she threw them at me. When I opened up my cheeseburger there was no cheese and there were flys on my cheeseburger. And I got a large cup can I get a small cup she charged me for her mistake. My go to place for food even it's been awhile you get what you pay for price are right

Its been a long time coming im finally writing this review. Ive lived in this town all my life and have been to this wendy's since I was a kid. I will not bash the workers or mangers because honestly the current service is a huge reflection on corporate neglect. Most of these are everyday members of our community trying to do the best with what they are given, which isnt much. Poor customer service and attitude is a reflection of both poor working conditions and training/ poor management. Now with the advancement of society from when i was a kid there is a noticeable difference in quality with delivery services now available. Since covid has started I would order from here a bunch of times and every single time my order has been severely botched. I often wonder if they purposely train there staff to NOT hand out any sauces in delivery orders, because i never get any. but i often have missing or incorrect orders. whenever i do go in person it is a huge line. however my inperson orders tend to usually be correct, once in a blue moon there is an in-person issue. However you can tell that the staff is a horrible combination or over worked, and under trained. proper organization, training and staffing would improve the quality of this place, and i am less inclined to place the blame on the staff and more so on corporate who neglects to make the effort to improve the work quality of the workers which im sure will improve the quality of the service. read more

Lots of complaints about the place being dirty. I've only encountered that once. This is a very busy Wendy's and I'm sure they do their best. They definitely can make their burgers/sandwiches with a little more care. Last time going there after ordering a chicken sandwich I literally has tomatoes that were soggy and the white end of the lettuce that was so hard you couldn't even bite it. I always encounter nice people at the drive-thru and counter. They should really step it up...it would be sad to see it close now that Popeye's is in town. I don't know what happened to the old Yelp listing of this Wendy's, but it just is GONE. I haven't been to the Randolph Wendy's in a while, but boy, I really don't like it. I can say they have a good parking lot, a fine location, and pretty good food. Want customer service? Don't bother. I specifically remember visiting this restaurant on one of the first time I ever came, and they did not honor a sign posted on their drive thru speaker, for something free if they didn't suggest something, but they did not honor it, and told me that sign wasn't up anymore. WRONG. Plus, I've had this issue at other Wendy's, as well as this location that the prices on the menu board are not the same as the ones I paid, that my receipt read. This location is also in DESPERATE need of remodeling. It's very old and not very clean. Also, don't even try the drive thru, it doesn't move nearly as fast as other fast food restaurants, and is much more busy (which is understandable, since the closest Wendy's is in Stoughton). Overall, 2 star Wendy's. UPDATE: 9/30: This Wendy's is brand new and recently redone. Unfortunately, nothing has changed. I just waited 15 minutes at the drive thru and the staff were not able to print me a receipt which is not right. Ended up waiting an additional 4 minutes for the manager to reprint what the staff threw out. Yikes. The Brockton location on Oak Street is just much better. Go there. read more

This is one dirty nasty Wendy's. If the outside of a restaurant is dirty imagine what the inside looks like. This restaurant is DIRTY! Dirty behind the counter as well as the dinning room. The Windows is the foyer are filthy. I blame management; management needs to come out the office and the back and guess what; manage! How is it possible the Downtown Boston Wendy's is 10x busier and 20x cleaner. Somebody at the Randolph Board of Health must be getting a kickback in order to allow this location to operate on such filth. I wish there was an option to not give a star at all. This place was awful first thing in hygiene is to wear gloves when you're cooking food. There were only two people who wore gloves. The cashier and the girl on the table. None of the guys had on gloves. One of the guys took buns in his bare hands and put them in the burner while looking me directly in the face. Then an older man can from the back with chicken patties and took them out the bag with his bare hands and put them into the fryer. Oh it gets better, the guy on fries scooping fries into boxes and some of them are falling back into the bin because the box is full with no gloves so their touching his bare skin; hair and all. Not only was the service awful at this location and the ketchup was empty, no forks, dirty tables and the place should probably have a visit from a health inspector, but they don't have any changing tables (in the men's or the women's room) and they really don't care. You advertise children's meals, but you don't have a place for them to relieve themselves?? They don't care that a dirty poop diaper was changed where you probably touched your hands in this bathroom. They were also extremely disrespectful to my elderly in-laws. Walked into Wendy's and noticed the cool new touch screen menus. Don't bother wasting your time. I spent 4 minutes creating my families order just receive an error message saying our order could not be completed. Staff never once asked if we needed assistance because the were having too much fun taking and joking with each other behind the counter. FYI: it was Sunday and no other customers. After placing our order at the register we had to ask for my sons kids meal cup and then proceeded to the self serve beverage machine. My kid loves regular Sprite which the machine said unavailable. His next choice was Hi-C fruit punch which was also in available. Finally he choose Fanta orange, and guess what... also UNAVAILABLE. The tables could have been wiped down so my wife took the opportunity to use napkins and water. I completely understand when places like this are busy they can't attend to everything but they literally had NO costumers. I could write a novel with all of my reasons why, but I will keep it rather simple: 1-My friend and I went in and ordered probably the most simple things on the menu (cheeseburgers and fries). We waited over 20 minutes for our food. 2-The customer service was deplorable. There was 1 girl at the register with a line nearly out the door. It did not seem to phase her or stress her out, because she had the same miserable demeanor the entire time (and we were there for 20 minutes, so I had the chance to do a lot of observing). I'm sure that was a lot of pressure on her to be alone up front, but she had zero personality. I don't expect bells and whistles, but a "Hello" and "Your total is (blank)" and maybe a "Have a nice day" are the bare minimum. An elderly man was eating with his wife, and went back in line to order them Frosty's. He waited in the line for nearly 10 minutes only to get to the front and be told they did not have them. She was so rude and expressed zero empathy and the poor elderly man was just crushed and she did not even care. That broke my heart more than the fact that I stood there for 20 minutes waiting for a cheeseburger.
