I feel like Wendy's in the under-rated, always consistent, and super delicious winner of the "regular" fast-food game. Why go to those arches when you have hot, fresh, and I think cheaper options just down the road. My go-to is a Jr. bacon cheese and spicy nuggets plus a small chili--always good. If you get the biggie bag, you can get a drink, fries and nuggets for only one dollar more than the stand-alone Jr. burger, what a steal. The folks at this location are always nice, and I've never had a wrong order. Under construction right now, but they be open. I think this a great value for money, and will keep returning when the fast-food crave hits. read more

It is national burger day. A reason to get something unhealthy as a cheeseburger lol. But I learned today how big the differences can be with a simple food chain cheeseburger. So I compared the cheeseburger from burgerville with the one from Wendy's and there is no doubt that Wendy's is a clear winner. The burgerville is just a way to sweet bun. Some ketchup and mustard on one site and their "signature spread" on the other half and then some meat paddy. That's it. And no addition possible! At Wendy's the price comparable jr bacon burger comes with salat, tomato, sauce and ketchup a tiny bit tasty piece of bacon and the paddy. For no extra $$ I can add pickles! Again no question Wendy's is far better. And that they promise their meat is never frozen gives it a better taste right away. Service at this branch was good friendly and quick. I got the app and decided to try to $2 double I had to add cheese which cost more $$. Than I got home and the burger had no toppings except ketchup and mayo and pickle. I had ordered the sandwich with all the toppings! I have not been to this Wendy's in 5 years and it's blocks from my home. They have always messed up my orders in the past and I stopped going. It looks like they haven't changed their ways and still continue to mess up orders. Burgers promos or not I will not be back. This is the worst Wendy's I have ever been too. I mean , I know you've taken out the salad bar but that Taco Salad was the most generic and frankly pathetic excuse for a salad I have ever been served anywhere. This is sadly a 1 Star location. It is constantly closed when it seems like it should be open. They've removed all hours indications from the windows. There is usually a 20 min plus line with only 5 or 6 cars ahead of you. People leave the line without paying because the waits are so long. The dining room has been closed for a very long time. It feels INCREDIBLY understaffed. I don't blame workers. This franchise should be sold off to someone who wants to run a business. read more

The customer service here is incredible. All the staff, new or old, is so nice and is always doing their best. The food is always very delicious for fast food, from their cheap meals to their more favorable items like chili and baked potatoes. I feel comfortable here every time I go in. Normally, I love Wendy's. Their $1 breakfast biscuits are good and their spicy nuggets. This is the first time ever this has happened to me at ANY fast food chain. I came into Wendy's drive thru at 8:20am this morning and ordered two sausage biscuits. There was two cars ahead of me and I'm going to assume they were making fresh biscuits. It was about a 10-15 min wait. I got to the window at 8:30 and paid. Waited another few minutes for my sandwiches. I proceed to work and once I was able to eat I opened my sandwich and there's MOLD on the bread!!!! Like are you freaking kidding me???? Compared to the Burgerville next door, the service is spectacular. I'm usually in and out within 5 minutes at the drive thru. The food is affordable and always cooked right. I live nearby so I've tried a significant portion of the menu. I usually get the either the Big Bacon Classic or Spicy Chicken Sandwich. Consistently wrong orders. We always go through the drive through and never discover the extent of what's wrong until we get home, then we don't want to go back out to get it fixed. I would estimate that about 75% of the orders I've placed at this Wendy's end up wrong. The most recent one was an Apple Pecan salad, oops, no pecans. The sizes are sometimes wrong, the number of orders of something is wrong, the toppings on a sandwich or chili are wrong, etc. I don't really have any complaints about the food itself, it's fast food and fairly consistent, but I'm so sick of paying for stuff that's wrong and letting it go because we're having dinner and don't want to head back out to get the right thing. read more

First time in a few years to Wendys and it was the idea of a friend. I wish he never suggested it because I wont be going back to one. I ordered a double burger combo with a drink and a baked potato 8 that came back to the counter ask for a refill on iced tea to go the lady behind the counter went back consulted the manager and we'd only give refills on sodas but not Iced Teas I was also wearing my Planet speaks love shirt and I was with another man who was not my partner but just a friend with me at the restaurant he was already out of the restaurant when I asked the lady for a refill and she said no all I said was bad review bad review and walked out. I didnt catch the name of the employee but it was a black lady and walked out. She said only colas not ice teas and I walked out with the empty cup. As soon as I walked out this manager Justin who I never saw in the restaurant walked out said dont be cursing my employees and i said all I said was the bad review this store is getting a bad review said get off the property or I'll call the police and he would not give me a refill. I am reporting it to corporate office Justin should not be in a managerial position he should be fired from his job. I am also seeking my money back from Wendys and or my credit card used to pay for the meal. I PAID for a COMBO and should have gotten a refill. It was also 100 degrees that day in Portland. I chose intentionally to come in during a rush period of the day during a rush point in the week, to see how well everyone would do. I was United with my food stuffs within at most ten minutes of when i set foot in the building- and most of that time was due to other patrons deliberating on what to order and under who's name. I knew what i wanted and ordered succinctly and had my food in front of me before i could properly tuck into my phone to begin taking notes. For the record I manage a retail establishment, and can tell you first hand that I schedule all system updates either before or after hours. It was very busy, customers were treating the staff horribly, and the man behind the register retained a positive attitude despite all that was stacked against him, and my food was good despite the kitchen being overwhelmed. Although my food took a while, and I had to gently remind the staff of my missing fries, it was not hard to remain patient & kind because I understand fast food workers are working under some of the most stressful conditions in the country. Your workers deserve better. Your workers deserve a union. You should set an example with your neighboring restaurant and allow your workers more pay, crosstraining, better first aid, and the like, and tensions should ease up and reviews should improve. I've never worked in fast food, I'm just a firm believer in: God bless EVERYONE. read more

I stopped in to this Wendy's to get a quick dinner for myself. I ordered a Grilled Chicken Sandwich and I really liked it. . .a large chicken breast with honey mustard, tomato, and mixed greens on a multi-seeded bun. I decided to eat it in their dining area, and that's when I first noticed how untidy it was. There were lots of unoccupied tables but they were all dirty, so I just took the LEAST dirty one. I heard another customer say to his wife, "Every table in here is filthy!" and then apparently decided to take their food to eat in their car. I also saw another customer grab a big wad of napkins and wipe down a table himself before sitting down at it. Well, that pretty much sums up my feelings too. this is usually my go-to Wendy's just because it's always on the way home from any one of my trips. I love Wendy's for their 1 dollar spicy chicken nuggets which now is pretty sad since it's a dollar for only 4... :( Normally my experience with them has always been on point and dependable but tonight I got their new pulled pork cheese fries with spicy sauce (which was great btw), and their spicy chicken nuggets, the regular. I asked for some honey mustard sauce to go with the nuggets and found out when i got home that they never included it in my bag. Pretty disappointed, so I knocked them down one star. read more
