The food was really good. For a Wendy's the service was really fast. It's rare for me today to get fast food from a Wendy's. Cashier was too busy fondling and making out with girlfriend in the lobby to take my order. Had to wait 15 minutes for him to take his tongue out of her mouth to rudely ask what I wanted. This was especially annoying because I had to listen to the girlfriend's children scream and run all over Wendy's while she was preoccupied. Whole place made me feel dirty. Sometimes you just want something different for breakfast, you know? So we stopped by the Wendy's for some of their breakfast sandwiches- instead of going for another crossan'wich or McMuffin, like we usually do- hey, sometimes it's good to branch out, you know? The service at this Wendy's is actually very good- we got our food out and were away in a short time- only a few minutes! (It really kind of puts the damper on fast food when the food's not fast, you know?) We weren't asked to pull ahead and wait, we didn't have to wait while they fixed the order, they managed to get it right the first time. That's... pretty much everything you could ask for in a fast food place, yeah? So we got the food home, and proceeded to chow on down- they were actually still warm when we got them home- the cheese on the sandwiches was still sort-of gooey and wonderful, which made it even better. There's a definite difference to the breakfast sandwiches from Wendy's as opposed to McDonald's or Burger King: for one, the Wendy's sandwiches come on soft buns, as opposed to the english muffins, pancakes, and other things at some other places. I mean, let's face it, if you're trying to do two things at once and one of them is eating, do you really need to have your teeth wrestle with a tough crust or edge that you just can't get through? It's easier eating on the go, especially if you're trying to drive- well, that and sometimes you just want a bun instead of an english muffin that's tough or a croissant that's falling apart and clinging to the wrapper. The sausage is also a better difference than anywhere else- where the sausage from a place like McDonald's or Burger King might be a little sweet and mildly savory, Wendy's has chosen a pretty savory blend- and I like it! It's certainly a pleasant kick in the taste buds and it'll wake you up with a bite. Especially combined with the potatoes that were served with it- they were actually pretty tasty, and went well with a little ketchup- though maybe they could stand to not be fried as long, maybe? They were kind of tough on the sides, but that's just a minor quibble. We'll definitely be back for more sandwiches in the morning! read more

Worst fast food experience ever!!! This Wendy's might appear like a safe haven for travelers after a long day on the road, with a crisp, clean-looking, and renewed building, but it is far from that. The young man at the register was inattentive and scattered minded. But that's not the end of it. We received an incomplete order, with THREE main items missing (a baked potato, all-natural lemonade, and a Caesar salad). We waited entirely too long for the rest of our food. When we finally received our food, the baked potato had only chives on it, missing the essential sour cream. The Caesar salad lacked the main aspect of it, ceasars dressing. My all-natural lemonade was only 3/4 full. We ordered creamy sriracha for our nuggets, as well. Upon opening them, we found a thin film on top of the sauce, along with a chunky and unusual consistency. Overall, this was the most disappointing Wendy's experience I've ever had. I wish I could say we were the only one who experienced this distasteful service, but we noticed that the parties after us also had trouble with their orders. Usually the highlight of my day, this four for four phoney fatality left me unsatisfied. read more

Decided to give them another try in Paw Paw. They now have breakfast, so why not? Here's why....only customer there at 630am. Placed my order in the drive thru and after paying, she says pull forward since we are waiting for fresh potatoes. Ok.....10 minutes later, no food! I reverse back to the window (no customers during my wait) and ask where is my food. A different person is there and says "we haven't had any orders yet". Huh? She apologizes and says what can I do? Refund my money so I can go eat elsewhere. They all started scrambling and "find" my order and ask if I would still like it. NO. I wanted it 10 minutes ago when I placed the order. How the heck do you forget me when I'm the only customer there? Typical of my experience with this location over the years. Terrible food quality and service. I will NEVER return here. read more

It is your typical Wendy's, but I have to admit this location has not let me down yet. The staff are always super nice and the food is always hot and fresh. I love that they have the fountain pop machine that has all the flavors you could choose from. We are always nervous going to fast food restaurants on how fresh their food is, but not when we go to this location! read more

I normally don't yelp chain fast food but I gotta say, this is the best Wendy's I've been to. It's definitely gotten a facelift - brand new inside and out. Staff is friendly and nice. Can't complain. We drive this route from Chicago to Fenton for family and this is our Wendy's of choice along the way. read more

Stopped here on the way home from a business trip. This Wendy's gave some of the BEST service I have ever seen!! Every employee we encountered was personable and friendly. They all made eye contact (which is severely lacking in this day and age) and were super helpful to every customer that came through the door. 3 stars and the only reason they get that is because of one awesome worker and the fact that the food itself is edible and enjoyable. The service quite frankly is sloppy and slow. Taking into consideration I understand covid making it utterly reasonable to keep the dining room shut down for indoor eating but Wendy's in general should allow take out orders on the inside, especially if you have an elderly lady at the first window and a lazy one spot lady in the second. I don't mean this to criticize the people themselves but they should be taught on how to time manage wisely. There is a shorter scruffy guy in the second window sometimes and the times he is working is the only time Wendy's is moving at all. He seems to be the only employee who understands the meaning to fast food. Keep it up man your work is highly appreciated your dedication to your job and the food are the only reason wendys gets a 3 star rating instead of a 2. So if you decide to gamble your lunch hour away I recommend a Baconator. read more

When I'm driving through paw paw, I'm looking for my paws to get ahold of some delicious grub. The place was immaculate, with a stone fireplace and wood table tops. We waited for a hostess for 15 minutes and finally decided to seat ourselves. After we sat ourselves, we played 20 questions and got distracted so we didn't even realize our waiter never came. My first time at this Wendy's and I won't be going back. The speed was a little slow, but not too bad. However, I had ordered a Maple Bacon Chicken sandwich to try and they stiffed me on my sandwich. Everything else was there, just not as hot as you'd expect from an order that took that long. They also didn't give me a receipt, which I had assumed was in the bag, so I can't reference the store number on Wendy's site. read more

Paw Paw Wendy's needs management. Ordered two chili's and two large frostys. 10 minutes between the order in front of me being delivered and my order taken. No receipt, no crackers for the chili. Frosty was runny and only half full. No wonder this place is usually empty. Won't be back. read more

We are staying in Paw Paw MI for the weekend and stopped in for lunch. Staff was very friendly even when they were slammed. The food was good and hot. They just remodeled the Wendy's and the service is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO slow it's not even funny. I only have an hour for lunch and I leave the drive through half the time because you end up spending at least 20 minutes with only 5 or 6 cars. I ordered a double cheese with only mayo and lettuce at the drive thru. When i got home and started to eat the sandwich i found that it had ketchup hidden under the cheese. I am not a fan of ketchup and threw the sandwich in the trash. I called the store and the night manager said " oh i rembember that sandwich sorry we screwed it up".
